Based on the con...Emotional intelligence is a social skill and an important component of communication. It can be expressed as the ability to correctly identify emotions, to make proper decisions and to solve problems. Based on the conducted researchs, emotional intelligence is an important factor in achieving success in life including occupation and education. This study was designed and implemented to determine the effects of emotional intelligence on the quality of nurses' working life. This quasi-experimental study was conducted in 2015 on 70 of hospital nurses. Samples were randomly collected and divided into 2 groups (35 nurses in each group) and training sessions of emotional intelligence were conducted. Before the first session and after session 12, the quality of working life was measured by Walton's standard questionnaire of working life in both groups. The average age of the control and the experimental group was 30.83 ± 3.785 and 29.54 ± 3.407 respectively. Quality of working life in the experimental group had significant positive changes in comparison with the control group (P 〈 0.001) after the completion of training sessions. Based on the results, nurses' quality of working life improved after training. It seems that it is possible to improve university students and nurses" quality of working life by holding special workshops of emotional intelligence in training centers.展开更多

Aimed at being difficult to control in parameters of forming process, the paper explored the humanoid based intelligence control strategy. In the paper, it made the anatomy in control puzzle resulted in uncertainty such as chemical component of plastic cement etc., summarized up the characteristic of cybernetics in forming process, researched on the humanoid based intelligence control strategy, and constructed the control algorithm of forming process in plastic cement work-piece. Taking the process experiment of temperature and pressure control as an example, it validated the good dynamic and static control quality through simulation of control algorithm constructed in this paper. The experimental results show that the control algorithm explored in this paper is reasonably available.展开更多

The massive electronic data from a computer numerical control(CNC) system during the work processes of a CNC machine tool is the main source of the big data on which a CPS model is established. In this work-process model, a method based on instruction domain is applied to analyze the electronic big data, and a quantitative description of the numerical control(NC) processes is built according to the G code of the processes. Utilizing the instruction domain, a work-process CPS model is established on the basis of the accurate, real-time mapping of the manufacturing tasks, resources, and status of the CNC machine tool. Scientific workflows have gained the emerging attention in sophisti-cated large-scale scientific problem-solving environments.The pay-per-use model of cloud,its scalability and dynamic deployment enables it suited for ex...Scientific workflows have gained the emerging attention in sophisti-cated large-scale scientific problem-solving environments.The pay-per-use model of cloud,its scalability and dynamic deployment enables it suited for executing scientific workflow applications.Since the cloud is not a utopian environment,failures are inevitable that may result in experiencingfluctuations in the delivered performance.Though a single task failure occurs in workflow based applications,due to its task dependency nature,the reliability of the overall system will be affected drastically.Hence rather than reactive fault-tolerant approaches,proactive measures are vital in scientific workflows.This work puts forth an attempt to con-centrate on the exploration issue of structuring a nature inspired metaheuristics-Intelligent Water Drops Algorithm(IWDA)combined with an efficient machine learning approach-Support Vector Regression(SVR)for task failure prognostica-tion which facilitates proactive fault-tolerance in the scheduling of scientific workflow applications.The failure prediction models in this study have been implemented through SVR-based machine learning approaches and the precision accuracy of prediction is optimized by IWDA and several performance metrics were evaluated on various benchmark workflows.The experimental results prove that the proposed proactive fault-tolerant approach performs better compared with the other existing techniques.展开更多

Antipsychotic medication cannot affect mismatch negativity. The present study aimed to explore the relationships of mismatch negativity with neurocognition, daily life and social functional outcomes in patients after brain injury. Twelve patients with traumatic brain injury and 12 healthy controls were recruited in this study. We examined neurocogni-tion with the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-Revised China, and daily and social functional outcomes with the Activity of Daily Living Scale and Social Disability Screening Schedule, re-spectively. Mismatch negativity was analyzed from electroencephalogram recording. The results showed that mismatch negativity amplitudes decreased in patients with traumatic brain injury compared with healthy controls. Mismatch negativity amplitude was negatively correlated with measurements of neurocognition and positively correlated with functional outcomes in patients after traumatic brain injury. Further, the most signiifcant positive correlations were found be-tween mismatch negativity in the fronto-central region and measures of functional outcomes. The most signiifcant positive correlations were also found between mismatch negativity at the FCz electrode and daily living function. Mismatch negativity amplitudes were extremely positive-ly associated with Social Disability Screening Schedule scores at the Fz electrode in brain injury patients.
