The results show that the presence of the Kerr-like medium and Stark shift has an important effect on the properties of the entropy and entanglement. It is also shown that the setting of the initial state plays a significant role in the evolution of the linear entropy and entanglement.展开更多

The phase dependence of the Josephson current I (φ) between s-wave and px-wave superconductor is predicted to be sin(2φ). The ferromagnet scattering effect, the barrier strength, and the roughness strength at interface suppress the dc currents in s/FI/p junction.展开更多

Ageing hardness curves under various stresses were plotted and the corresponding microstructures were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results show that the value of peak hardness is increased, while the time to reach the peak hardness is reduced under an external stress. Meanwhile, the length of S(Al2CuMg) phase is shorter and the number density of S phases is larger in the creep-aged alloy. The predominant contribution to the peak hardness can be ascribed to the GPB zones with an elastic stress.展开更多

The S-bend waveguides, which are always introduced to connect the switch and the standard fiber array, are made use of and designed as variable optical attenuators. A compact device with low crosstalk and larger branching-angle is obtained. The device is fabricated on the thermo-optic polymer materials, and the performance of the device is measured. With an applied driving power of less than 200mW, the device has a low crosstalk of less than - 35dB at a wavelength of 1.55 μm.展开更多

Though very close in spirit to the purely classical description, GWTM accounts to some extent for the quantization of the different degrees-of-freedom involved in the processes. While CSMT may give diverging final state distributions, in relation to the rainbow effect of elastic scattering theory, GWTM has never led to such a mathematical catastrophe. The goal of the present note is to explain this finding.展开更多
