The strict avalanche criterion(SAC)is one of the most important cryptographic criteria for substitution boxes(S-boxes)used in many symmetric encryption systems.However,there are few constructive methods for S-boxes fu...The strict avalanche criterion(SAC)is one of the most important cryptographic criteria for substitution boxes(S-boxes)used in many symmetric encryption systems.However,there are few constructive methods for S-boxes fulfilling the SAC until now.In this paper,to construct S-boxes satisfying the SAC directly,we generalize the concatenation techniques of Boolean functions to S-boxes.Using the idea of concatenating small variable S-boxes,we present a simple yet effective construction method of S-boxes satisfying the SAC.Finally,a simple example on how to construct SAC S-boxes with large input variables by small variables SAC S-boxes is given.展开更多
Based on analyzing the changes of land use in Wuzhong District, Suzhou City from 2005 to 2008, temporal and spatial changes of land use from 2008 to 2020 were analyzed by using the model CLUE-S and, from the perspecti...Based on analyzing the changes of land use in Wuzhong District, Suzhou City from 2005 to 2008, temporal and spatial changes of land use from 2008 to 2020 were analyzed by using the model CLUE-S and, from the perspective of landscape ecology, future landscape pattern changes of land use in Wuzhong District were also quantitatively discussed by utilizing landscape indices. The results indicated that there was a large variation range of land use in Wuzhong District from 2005 to 2008 and massive farmland and woodland were transformed into construction land and gardens. Guided by the policy of saving intensive land and protecting farmland, future variation range of land use will get smaller obviously. The fragmentation degree for farmland, woodland and water area will get decreased but will get increased relatively for construction land. In general, all landscapes tend to a balanced development.展开更多
The adaptation of the novel A Pedra do Reino e o principe do sangue do vai-e-volta, (1971), by Ariano Suassuna, for the minisseries A Pedra do Reino2 (2007) directed by Luiz Fernando Carvalho, in the microseries f...The adaptation of the novel A Pedra do Reino e o principe do sangue do vai-e-volta, (1971), by Ariano Suassuna, for the minisseries A Pedra do Reino2 (2007) directed by Luiz Fernando Carvalho, in the microseries format, has caused surprise and bewilderment to reviewers and audience alike. The extensive and originally hermetic literary work, when re-created for television, became difficult to understand, resulting in poor reception by the public - though highly praised by reviewers - compared to works in the same format and time of exhibition. In this study, the author proposes a reflection, in the light of semiotic and communication theories, in order to understand the relationship between the work and the viewer. The analysis takes into account especially the options of the expression plan as well as the closeness that the audiovisual narrative maintains with the literary work. The conclusion reached is that the introduction of the elements of the enunciation - person, time and place - inherited from the novel, as well as expressive options like camera movements, light, prosody and gesture, impart an excessively accelerated rhythm, which interferes in the understanding of the work and in its consequent reception.展开更多

We proposed a hybrid transmission system consist of 1Tbit/s Nyquist WDM channels,100Gbit/s PDM-QPSK WDM channels and 10Gbit/s NRZ WDM channels to study whether Terabit Nyquist WDM signal could transmit in the existing...We proposed a hybrid transmission system consist of 1Tbit/s Nyquist WDM channels,100Gbit/s PDM-QPSK WDM channels and 10Gbit/s NRZ WDM channels to study whether Terabit Nyquist WDM signal could transmit in the existing hybrid systems with DCM(dispersion compensation module). The simulation results demonstrated the influence of all these three kinds of signals. The 1Tbit/s Nyquist WDM channels introduced 1.5d B Q penalty to the 100Gbit/s PDM-QPSK signals and their influence on the 10Gbit/s NRZ signals was extremely slight. In the hybrid optical system,1Tbit/s Nyquist channel has 5d B Q penalty due to the inline DCM and 2.5d B Q penalty due to the channel interference from existing channels. Therefore,the total Q penalty is 7.5d B caused by strong nonlinear effects at the launch power of 0d Bm. The results have the guiding significance for the design of future backbone system and also support the feasibility of future dynamic optical system.展开更多

Compared to its corresponding continuum model, the single particle spectrum is modified by the optical lattice and the topological phase which is characterized by the Majorana edge modes can survive in two regions of the singleparticle spectrum. With the help of the self-consistent Bogoliubov-de Gennes calculation in the harmonic trap, we find that the existence of an upper critical magnetic field removes the topological superconductor phase to the trap wings.We also study the effects of nonmagnetic and magnetic impurity on the topological properties, and find the universal behavior of the mid-gap state induced by impurity in the topological superconductor phase in strong scattering limit.展开更多

In this paper,the two-dimensional Rayleigh-Taylor(RT) instability is directly simulated using the moving particle semiimplicit(MPS) method,which is based on the fully Lagrangian description.The objectives of this pape...In this paper,the two-dimensional Rayleigh-Taylor(RT) instability is directly simulated using the moving particle semiimplicit(MPS) method,which is based on the fully Lagrangian description.The objectives of this paper are to investigate preliminarily the effect of viscosity and finite size domain on the evolution of the RT instability.The simulation results demonstrate that(1) the mushroom-like vortex motions are formed in late time due to fluid viscosity,which give rise to the secondary shear flow instability,(2) the finite thickness of the fluid layer limits the development of the RT instability.The above results are consistent with the experiments and theoretical analyses.Meanwhile,the linear growth rate of the RT instability obtained from the numerical simulation is also in agreement with theoretical analyses.And the nonlinear threshold from the simulation result is comparable with the theoretical estimate.Two stages of the nonlinear evolution of the RT instability are revealed in the numerical simulation,nonlinear saturation and turbulent mixing.展开更多

Compared to its corresponding continuum model, the single particle spectrum is modified by the optical lattice and the topological phase which is characterized by the Majorana edge modes can survive in two regions of the singleparticle spectrum.
