A new method by use of the smallest interval-set/hyper-rectangle containing all exper- imental data is proposed to quantify the parameter uncertainties. With the smallest parameter interval-set, the uncertainty sponse and the least favorable response propagation evaluation of the most favorable re- of the structures is studied based on the interval analysis. The relationship between the proposed interval analysis method (IAM) and the classical IAM is discussed. Dorsal profile of skull inclined 40°anteriorly. It provides full teeth row with dental formula 4, 13/9-13. Saraikimasoom is the smallest titanosaur so far found from Indo-Pakistan subcontinent. On the premise of not considering transmission quality and transmission cost, latency was the function of the rest of network resource parameter (NRP). The relation between the number of nodes and that of end-to-end links was presented. In ethernet architecture, the algorithm to determine the link with the smallest latency is a polynomial issue when the number of network nodes is limited, so it can be solved by way of polynomial equations. Latency measuring is the key issue to determine the link with the smallest network latency. 3-node brigade (regiment) level network centric warfare (NCW) demonstration platform was studied and the latency between the detectors and weapon control stations was taken as an example. The algorithm of end-to-end network latency and link information in NCW was presented. The algorithm program based on Server/Client architecture was developed. The data transmission optimal link is one whose end-to-end latency is the smallest. This paper solves the key issue to determine the link whose end-to-end latency is the smallest in ethernet architecture. The study can be widely applied to determine the optimal link which is in the complex network environment of multiple service provision points.展开更多

In this paper,we consider the problem of computing the smallest enclosing ball(SEB)of a set of m balls in Rn,where the product mn is large.We first approximate the non-differentiable SEB problem by its log-exponentia...In this paper,we consider the problem of computing the smallest enclosing ball(SEB)of a set of m balls in Rn,where the product mn is large.We first approximate the non-differentiable SEB problem by its log-exponential aggregation function and then propose a computationally efficient inexact Newton-CG algorithm for the smoothing approximation problem by exploiting its special(approximate)sparsity structure.The key difference between the proposed inexact Newton-CG algorithm and the classical Newton-CG algorithm is that the gradient and the Hessian-vector product are inexactly computed in the proposed algorithm,which makes it capable of solving the large-scale SEB problem.We give an adaptive criterion of inexactly computing the gradient/Hessian and establish global convergence of the proposed algorithm.We illustrate the efficiency of the proposed algorithm by using the classical Newton-CG algorithm as well as the algorithm from Zhou et al.(Comput Optim Appl 30:147–160,2005)as benchmarks.展开更多
