To the potential effects of SHIP-1 on MMP2 secretion and migration of cancer cells, three murine SHIP-1 mutants were made: △SH2-SHIP-1, △Ptase-SHIP-1, △Cter-SHIP-1. These mutant forms were subcloned as well as the wild type (WT) of murine SHIP-1 cDNA were subcloned into pcDNA3 expression vector, then transfected into and overexpressed SHIP-1 and its mutants in a Src-transformed 3Y1 cellline (SR3Y1). The results showed that overexpression of wild type of SHIP-1 does not affect the MMP2 secretion in both SR3Y1 and 3Y1 cells, but can induce MMP9 secretion, while either WT SHIP-1, the SH2 domain, phosphatase domain, or C terminus deletion mutants could significantly block the MMP2 and MMP9 secretion in SR3Y1 cells and suppress cell invasion ability. The results confirmed SHIP-1 as a negative regulator for cell migration and invasion in transformed cells, and implied that it may function through each of its three domains.展开更多

The emission spectrum exhibits one strong red...In this paper, the Sr3Y2 (BO3)4 :Eu^3+ phosphor was synthesized by high temperature solid-state reaction method and the luminescence characteristics were investigated. The emission spectrum exhibits one strong red emission at 613 nm corresponding to the electric dipole 5^Do-7^F2 transition of Eu^3+ under 365 nm excitation, this is because Eu^3+ substituted for Y^3+ occupied the non-centrosymmetric position in the crystal structure of Sr3Y2(BO3)4. The excitation spectrum indicates that the phosphor can be effectively excited by ultraviolet (254 nm, 365 nm and 400 nm) and blue (470 nm) light. The effect of Eu^3+ concentration on the red emission of Sr3Y2(BO3)4 :Eu^3+ was measured, the result shows that the emission intensities increase with increasing Eu^3+ concentration, then decrease. The Commission Internationale del'Eclairage chromaticity (x, y) of Sr3Y2(BO3)4 :Eu^3+ phosphor is (0.640, 0.355) at 15 mol% Eu^3+.展开更多
The synthesis process for La 1- x Sr x Mn 1- y Co y O 3- δ ( x = 0.2, 0.3; y = 0.2, 0.8, designated as LSMC below) perovskite oxides prepared by solid state reaction was investigated using DSC/TG, XRD, EPMA and parti...The synthesis process for La 1- x Sr x Mn 1- y Co y O 3- δ ( x = 0.2, 0.3; y = 0.2, 0.8, designated as LSMC below) perovskite oxides prepared by solid state reaction was investigated using DSC/TG, XRD, EPMA and particle size analysis methods. It was found that LSMCs were all of single phase and the synthesis process might be divided into three stages: the decomposition of reactants, the formation of LaMn(Co)O 3 based oxides, and the formation of LSMC solid solution. Typical average and the peak value of particle size, and the specific surface area are 14.65?μm, 16.4?μm and 1.38?m 2/mL, respectively, for mixed reactants and are 23.81?μm, 32.11?μm and 0.5?m 2/mL, respectively, for powder synthesized at 1?200?℃ for 8?h in air.展开更多
The crystal of Nd(0.06)Y(0.94)S(r)6Sc(BO3)(6) with the dimensions up to 35 mm x 28 mm x 13 mm was grown by a top-seeded solution growth method from Li6B4O9 flux. The grown crystal was characterized by X-ray powder dif...The crystal of Nd(0.06)Y(0.94)S(r)6Sc(BO3)(6) with the dimensions up to 35 mm x 28 mm x 13 mm was grown by a top-seeded solution growth method from Li6B4O9 flux. The grown crystal was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction. The optical absorption of the crystal shows that it has a strong absorption band at 8070 Angstrom, and the absorption coefficient is 2.17cm(-1) with a FWHM of 41 Angstrom, which can match with the wavelength of the diode-laser (LD) and is suitable for the LD pumping. Based on the Judd-Ofelt theory, the three parameters of line oscillator strength Omega((lambda)) (lambda = 2, 4 and 6) of the Nd3+ ion in the crystal were calculated as follows: Omega(2) = 1.194 x 10(-20), Omega(4) = 4.186 x 10(-20) and Omega(6) = 3.351 x 10(-20) cm(2), Which are relatively larger. The results indicate that the crystal Nd0.06Y0.94Sr6Sc(BO3)(6) may be a kind of high-efficient laser material for diode-pumped.展开更多
