With an increase in the density of the seed roll in the roll box of the saw gin, the quality indicators of the fiber and seed are poor, energy consumption increases, machine breakdowns increase, and when the density decreases, the performance of the saw gin increases. Therefore, the density control of the seed roll is one of the important problems in the ginning process. The paper proposes a change in the rotation speed of the saw cylinder with a decrease in the diameter of its numerical linear speed and machine productivity. The article describes the problem of regulating the density of a seed roll in a saw gin of the DP series, provides an overview of work on regulating the operation of the machine, determines the dependence of the productivity of gins and linters on the state of the saw system in these machines, as well as changes in the linear speed of the saw by changing its diameter. Also, the critical speed of the gin and linter saw cylinder was determined to prevent resonance. In this case, the Simulation package of the SolidWorks computer program was used. The results of the study made it possible to adjust the speed of the cylinders when changing the diameter of the saws, which improved the productivity of the machine while maintaining the quality of the fiber and seed. 展开更多

In the primary processing of cotton, it is important to increase the productivity of ginning and reduce the wear of working bodies. The working body of the genie is the working chamber, the saw cylinder and the rib grate. The main wear is on the saw cylinder shaft and saw teeth. The wear of these parts leads to additional material costs, as well as to a decrease in the quality of the fiber. The wear of the shaft is affected by the number of saws and the mass of raw cotton in the working chamber of the gin. To prevent wear of the saw cylinder, the article determines the optimal static load on the shaft by calculating saw gins consisting of 90, 100, 110, 120, 130 saws. An analysis of tables shows that maximum value to bending shows 120 and 130 saws cylinder, because shaft bending angles along the length appear. This leads to a 2% - 3% reduction in the distance between the saws, serves for the premature wear of the saw, the exit of short fibers. 展开更多

To prevent wear on cutting cylinder, we determine the optimal cross-flexural vibration of the shaft with respect to time and along the length of the shaft. Model simulated the transverse vibrations with different amounts of drinking and between saw gaskets brought the best option, which has a positive effect on the strength of the shaft. As a result, we have developed two staggered cylinders saw in one of the working chamber gin, which reduces bending vibration, but it increases efficiency. 展开更多

The lifting and lowering mechanism of the roll box of the saw gin, being an integral part of the ginning process, is used when starting the electric motor of the saw cylinder until its rated speed is reached to prevent an increase in the load current on it, as well as to start the ginning process. The article defines the kinematics of the movement, and also studies the regularity of the movement of the roll box of the saw gin when lifting it with the help of a pneumatic drive. The kinematics of the roll box movement was determined through experimental studies. Knowing the equation of motion, using the second-order Lagrange equation, the regularity of the change in the lifting force of the roll box was determined. Here the system is closed, its degree of freedom is equal to one. The angle of rotation of the roll box is taken as a generalized coordinate. Numerical results were obtained using the Matlab software environment. The theoretical analysis and graphs for determining the lifting force of the roll box are presented. To study the kinematics of lifting the roll box, a method and a test bench have been developed. According to him, when the roll box was raised, its movement was recorded on video, the image was processed using the After Effect and CorelDraw programs, and the movement of the rod attachment point to the roll box was determined. And also the equation for changing the angle of rotation of the roll box is determined using the Matlab Curve Fiting program. 展开更多

The purpose of this research is to improve the qualitative and quantitative indicators of fiber, lint and seeds by improving the technology of preparing cotton seeds for processing. The state of the seeds after the gin was studied and their division into fractions according to the degree of pubescence was recommended, the probabilities of the seeds emerging from the gin with varying degrees of pubescence were investigated, the geometric sizes and shapes of cotton seeds were studied. It has been established that when seeds come out of gin, they have different pubescence. The conditional movement of seeds without separation from the surface has been determined;found a formula describing the movement of seeds without detaching from the surface;the movement of seeds in a micro-flight is determined;the sizes of the cells of the mesh surface were determined as a function of d_c, α and on the speed of seed movement. The aim of the research work is to increase the yield of cotton fiber by improving the processing technology of germinated seeds, to improve the quality indicators of seeds and lint. In order to achieve this goal, a mesh surface device was created to sort the seeds into fractions. Sorting technology was developed on this device and operating modes were determined. In addition, the law of surface distribution of the fractions separated from the cotton stream moving along the surface of the net was determined, and based on the results of practical and theoretical research, a mode of sorting of cotton seeds was developed. 展开更多

Improving the efficiency of the process of separating fiber from cotton seeds by improving the working chamber of the gin is one of the important issues. The main way to increase the efficiency of sawn gin is to increase the fiber content in the mass of seeds in the working chamber with a uniform decrease in its density. This can be achieved by using grates with a concave working surface, which serves to move the seeds away from the rotating saws and accelerate the release of bare seeds from the working chamber. The article discusses the movement of seeds on the concave surface of the grate and determines the rational parameters of their working part. The article explores the proposed grate model, consisting of four geometric shapes, provides an analytical analysis of the geometric types. The dependence of the location of the last rectilinear part of the general contour on the shape of its convexity and concavity is determined. Cotton seeds move along the contour in the form of a stream. We assume that the thickness of the flow along the contour is constant and equal. We compose a unique equation of the flow in each section of the circuit. To determine the state of the flow, we denote its velocity, density and pressure in each section, respectively. The differential equation, obtained as a result of the theoretical study of the movement of the bare seed on the surface of the grate of the saw gin, made it possible to determine the trajectory of the movement of the seed. The rib is one of the main working bodies of the saw gin. It serves for the free passage of the saw blades through it into the working chamber, for the withdrawal of the fiber caught on the saw teeth after separating it from the seed. A number of studies have been carried out to improve the working elements of the saw gin. The purpose of the research is to create the possibility of timely withdrawal of bare seeds from the working chamber of the saw gin by creating a concavity on the working surface of the grate. The use of the Euler equation for the movement of bare cotton seed along the grate contour, taking into account its speed V, density ρ, pressure P, made it possible to obtain a graph of seed distribution along the grate contour. An experimental 30-saw gin was developed and manufactured, the research carried out on it allowed to determine the rational parameters of new grates, which are recommended for introduction into production. The dependence of the location of the rectilinear part of the general contour on the shape of its convexity and concavity is determined. Based on the above equations, using separate functions, we present the view of the grate profile in the coordinate system modeled on the MAPLE-17 program. 展开更多

With an increase in the density of the seed roll, the quality indicators of fiber and seed deteriorate, energy consumption increases, machine breakdowns increase, and with a decrease in density, the productivity of the machine decreases. For this reason, the regulation of the density of the seed roll is one of the important problems in the ginning process. For this, the speed of rotation of the feed rollers changes, which, with an increase in speed, the mass of cotton increases, and with a decrease, it decreases. Thus, the density of the seed roll is controlled. The article describes the problem of regulating the density of a seed roll in a saw gin of the DP series, an overview of the work on regulating the operation of the machine is given. In this work, the force of cotton pressure between two feed rollers is also theoretically investigated. Graphs of changes in the force of cotton pressure between two rollers are plotted depending on various initial pressure forces. The results of the study will be used in the further improvement of the cotton feeding regulation in order to maintain the optimum density of the seed roll, which will preserve the quality of the fiber and seeds while increasing the productivity of the machine. 展开更多
