The Research on the Paths of Popular Science Education about Myopia Prevention and Control among College Students in the Context of Shifting the Focus Forward

Currently, the number of myopic people in China has reached as high as 600 million, and it shows a trend of “early onset, high incidence, and a high degree of severity”. The issue of myopia among children and adolescents has attracted widespread attention from all sectors of society. Comprehensive myopia prevention and control efforts have been launched nationwide. Popular science education, vision screening, and improving visual environments are effective measures for preventing myopia. However, among the target audience for comprehensive myopia prevention and control, the preschool children group has been neglected, and the work of myopia prevention and control for this group has been significantly weakened and marginalized. Due to insufficient awareness of prevention and control, the hyperopia reserve in the preschool children group is being continuously depleted, leading to the early onset of myopia. In light of this situation, the focus of myopia prevention and control needs to shift forward, and it is worth exploring and pondering how college students with a background in optometry can develop entertaining and engaging popular science education materials and methods.

The Thinking on Further Impelling Hubei Meteorological Science Popularization Work under New Situation

In this paper,new situation faced by meteorological science popularization work of China is analyzed. Based on analyzing the challenges faced by Hubei meteorological science popularization work,the suggestions of Hubei meteorological science popularization work during the ＂ 13 th five-year＂ period are proposed from four aspects： further optimize operation mechanism of meteorological science popularization work,and improve work efficiency; combine full-time and part-time teams,and promote the fighting capacity of the science popularization team; adapt to the demand of multimedia publicity,and expand the connotation of popular science creation; build brand,and create a stereoscopic science popularization network.

Extending Science Popularization Base Construction and Promoting Meteorological Science Popularization Ability

In recent years,Kaifeng Meteorological Bureau and Kaifeng Municipal Meteorological Society seriously think how to strengthen the construction of science popularization base,and take below measures improving the influence of ＂ national science popularization education base＂ and further increasing the propaganda of meteorological popular science knowledge. ATA Model of Health Emergency Science Popularization in China: A Pilot Study

A recent novel coronavirus(COVID-19)outbreak has started since December 2019 in Wuhan,Hubei province,People’s Republic of China and has progressively expanded to various parts of China.Based on those practical problems of emergency science popularization works in the current epidemic situation,this article,from the perspective of accuracy,timeliness and acceptability of emergency science popularization,proposes that the professional science popularization knowledge should be popularized,rumor should be refuted in a timely manner,and accurate science popularization strategies should be taken for different science preference,so to provide countermeasures and guidance for problems in emergency science popularization.

A Self-determined Evaluation Method for Science Popularization Based on IOWA Operator and Particle Swarm Optimization

With the increase of science popularization, evaluation of science popularization has become an urgent demand. Considering science popularization bases as independent agents, a self-determined evaluation approach for science popularization using induced ordered weighted averaging (IOWA) operator and particle swarm optimization (PSO) is proposed in this paper.Firstly, six factors including science popularization personnel, space, fund,media, activity and influence are selected to construct an index system for science popularization evaluation. On this basis, the absolute dominance and relative dominance of evaluation indexes are used as induced components, and the prior order of the evaluation indexes is determined. Besides, the optimization model of index weighted vectors is established by IOWA operator, index weighted vectors are calculated by particle swarm optimization algorithm, and index weighted vectors and evaluation value vectors are obtain. Finally, the optimal evaluation vectors and evaluation results are given according to the Perron-Frobenius decision eigenvalve theorem .

Investigation and analysis of the status of cancer health popularization in China,2023

BACKGROUND Cancer presents a significant public health challenge in China,necessitating broad collaboration across society.The Chinese government has articulated a goal to increase the overall five-year survival rate for cancer by 15%by 2030.Achieving this objective requires not only advances in medical technology,but also an im-provement in the dissemination of knowledge pertaining to cancer prevention and treatment.AIM To provide a comprehensive understanding of the status of cancer prevention and level of popularization in China in 2023.METHODS From January 2023 to May 2023,online questionnaires were distributed to 3000 participants,including medical personnel,patients with cancer,their families,and the general public.There were 2711 valid responses,covering the entire nation.RESULTS A total of 1020 medical personnel and 1691 patients with cancer,their family members,and the general public participated in the survey.Among medical personnel,93.2%had popularized cancer health.Commonly addressed topics included cancer prevention(85.9%)and cancer screening(77.8%).Primary challenges included time constraints(73.9%),insufficient personnel and material support(66.7%),and uncertainty as to where to begin(49.3%).Among patients with cancer,their family members,and the general public,93.4%reported reading or watching cancer science popularization materials and 56.9%expressed a desire for deeper understanding.The most sought-after topics in cancer science popularization included cancer screening(80.2%)and cancer prevention(75.8%).The greatest challenge encountered in accessing cancer health popularization was an abundance of misinformation(67.5%).CONCLUSION Most clinical doctors,patients,family,and the general public wish to participate in cancer education.However,improvement in the quality of content in cancer prevention and treatment education is required.

Construction of Popular Science Tourism Evaluation Index System for Geoparks and Empirical Analysis

Popular science tourism is a new tourism mode, and geopark scenic area is an important carrier of popular science tourism. It is the premise and foundation for the popular science tourism development of geoparks to establish a scientific evaluation index system and evaluation model. On the basis of analyzing relevant evaluation models, this paper explored the evaluation system and model of geopark popular science tourism in following steps. First, establish the index system. Based on the theory method, frequency method, and expert consultation method, this paper established the popular science tourism evaluation index system of geopark scenic area. The evaluation index system includes 3 primary indexes, 8 secondary indexes and 30 tertiary indexes. Second, define index weight and scoring standards. Index weights were defined using Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP), the measuring method of each index and the scoring standards were specified. Third, evaluation model and grade. The evaluation model of popular science tourism development was constructed, and the evaluation results were classified into 4 grades. Fourth, empirical study. The evaluation model was applied to measure and investigate popular science tourism of Henan Yuntain Mountain World Geopark, and the final score was 7.619, indicating a higher evaluation grade of popular science tourism of the park.

Science Put to the Test of Mysticism in the “Navetanes”

Mystical practices or “Xon” exist in virtually every sector of social life in Senegal. Popular or “navétane” football is particularly and profoundly affected by this phenomenon, to the point of raising questions about their place in this sport, which is naturally governed by scientific rules of performance. To provide an answer, we used qualitative methods, including participant observation and semi-structured interviews with 9 coaches and those in charge of the “xonjom”. The main results highlight the predominance of “Xon” over training. The players pay more attention to the mystics. The creation of a commission responsible for occult practices and the efforts made by the players to approach occultists and ensure that their instructions are respected attest to the importance of “xonjom”. As a result of the social anchoring provided by education, popular football is not spared from “xon”. More time is spent practising mysticism than training. They are seen as a source of victory, playing the role of psychological preparation. The centralisation of “xonjom” is reflected in the prioritisation of “xon” over training. The marabouts’ instructions take precedence over those of the trainers.

我国科普影视的研究进展和趋势展望(2004-2023年)--基于CiteSpace的可视化分析

科普影视具有传播科学知识、提升科学素养的功能,是我国科学普及的重要载体。基于CiteSpace 6.1.R3软件对CNKI中收录的近二十年(2004年1月至2023年12月)的文献进行可视化分析。分析结果表明,我国科普影视领域研究主要集中在传播、创作、类型、本体、比较研究五方面,其中科普、科学传播、创作是研究的热点。我国科普影视领域研究的发展趋势为:科学传播研究持续增长并走向更深层次;新技术催生多种网生形态科普影视研究;科学家参与科普影视创作的研究将会不断增加。

美国《下一代科学教育标准(NGSS)》阐述了美国科学教育的方向。以科学大概念为基础,能量为主题,介绍美国《NGSS》、科学教材《Science Dimensions》、科学读物《Science》中能量的表现形式,突出科普读物对学生拓宽能量概念的重要性。并分析我国科普读物现状,针对目前科普作品知识点、受众群体、参编队伍等存在的问题,结合国际科普工作经验,提出若干针对性的读物编写建议。

基于CiteSpace的中医药健康教育知识传播可视化分析

目的 利用CiteSpace软件分析2014-2024年中医药健康教育知识传播的研究现状、研究热点及发展趋势,以期为相关研究提供参考借鉴。方法 以中国知网数据库(CNKI)为基础,检索2014-2024年期间收录的关于中医药健康教育知识传播的相关文献,应用CiteSpace 6.3.R1软件对有效文献的作者、机构、关键词及发文情况进行可视化分析。结果 检索出相关文献917篇,删除无效文献及重复文献后共纳入280篇符合要求的文献进行分析:近十年来中医药健康教育知识传播领域的发文量总体呈现上升趋势,其中2023年发文量最多;研究领域内的专家和学者未形成核心作者群,机构间的联系呈现明显的分散性;中医药健康教育知识主要通过新媒体等途径进行传播。结论 近年来,中医药健康教育知识的传播逐渐上升为中医药领域的研究热点,但在传播过程中也存在不足之处,如其传播途径较为单一、社会参与度较弱等。本研究认为,应广泛开展相关知识的宣传科普,让中医药健康教育知识普及到更多人群,才能助力中医药健康教育事业的发展。

基于CiteSpace的我国药学科普领域近十年研究热点可视化分析

目的分析我国药学科普领域的研究热点及发展趋势,为药学科普实践和相关研究提供借鉴及可行性建议。方法检索CNKI、WanFang Data和VIP等中文文献数据库,搜集药学科普研究的相关文献,检索时限均为2014年1月—2024年5月,应用CiteSpace软件对纳入研究的作者、机构和文献关键词进行文献计量学分析。结果共纳入药学科普相关文献332篇,年发文量总体呈增长趋势。作者和机构均未形成紧密的合作网络,研究机构主要集中在医药高等院校和三级甲等医院。药学科普的主要研究热点是合理用药、问卷调查、儿童、临床药师、新型冠状病毒肺炎、药师、影响因素、微信公众平台、用药安全、中成药、用药咨询、用药风险、药事管理、知识-态度-行为、依从性等。目前仍在关注且突现强度较高的是用药咨询、用药风险、药物治疗管理、“互联网+”和知识-态度-行为。结论我国药学科普研究处于快速发展阶段,但药学工作者的科普积极性和科普技能仍有待提升。未来应加强学者间和机构间的交流合作,探索药学科普与多元化信息技术、新型医疗服务模式的有效融合路径,精准高效提高公众安全用药水平,助力健康中国战略的实施。

RESEARCH ON SCIENCE PARKS IN CHINA: 1984-1994

The development of science parks (SPs) in China has made big strides since the early 1980s, together with the initiation and development of the structural reforms carried out in the fields of the economy, science and technology, and education. Currently there are 52 SPs in China. They together with the special economic zones (SEZs) and the economical and technological develop ment zones (ETDZs), have given a powerful impetus toeconomic development in China by forming a new framework of accelerated economic development.
