Multi-source and heterogeneous specimen data are integrated using kettle, and good results have been achieved. It proved the effectiveness of kettle in the integrated reorganization of science specimen data. This new program is part of the strategic planning for the future of the library and is focused on three primary goals: expanding the library's research portfolio,building librarians' research skills and competencies,and increasing the library's research visibility. The status of domestic scientific & technical innovation is analysed. A series of emergent managerial problems caused by the system ISTI (SISTI) are pointed out. Because of Hall three dimensions structure's enlightenment, a three dimensional logical net diagram in which the system integration of innovation based on problem in real world but not on disciplinary logic is drawn. The intelligent group' s need span is greater under the conditions of relatively low material level than common groups who have lower degree of education. The SISTI is composed by multi-rule and intelligent multi-agent behavior. It is concluded that the logical relationships of integrated technology which based on the author's experience and observation must be considerded for a valid management of SISTI.展开更多

The study was carried out to identify content areas of climate change for integration into the senior secondary school agricultural science curriculum in countries such as Nigeria. Two research questions were develope...The study was carried out to identify content areas of climate change for integration into the senior secondary school agricultural science curriculum in countries such as Nigeria. Two research questions were developed and answered by the study while two null hypotheses were formulated and tested. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population for the study was 441 while the sample was 249. A 34-item structured questionnaire was developed for data collection. The questionnaire items were face-validated by five experts while Cronbach alpha method was used to determine the internal consistency of the items. The copies of the questionnaire were administered to the respondents with the help of two research assistants. Weighted mean was used to answer the research questions while t-test statistic was used to test the null hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance and 240 degrees of freedom. The findings of the study revealed that four clusters with 23 items were required for integration in the curriculum while 11 materials were identified to help teach the content areas. It was also found that there was no significant (p > 0.05) difference in the mean responses of Lecturers and extension agents on each item in the content areas of climate change and materials for teaching them. The study recommended among others that the clusters and 23 items with the materials identified by the study should be integrated into the agricultural science curriculum for teaching in secondary schools, especially in Nigeria.展开更多

On the long and well-worn road of many, but justifiable attempts of human to discover his origin, his trajectory as a species, and a suitable understanding consciousness, his system allowing the connection to the envi...On the long and well-worn road of many, but justifiable attempts of human to discover his origin, his trajectory as a species, and a suitable understanding consciousness, his system allowing the connection to the environment and to his own organism, the concepts and models of philosophy enunciated or experienced by millennia, meet today with modern science concepts of physics and of science of information. Based on recent discoveries of quantum physics and astrophysics, revealing a new understanding of our environment and starting from some philosophical concepts on information of matter and of living structures, this work discusses the dynamics of information within the frame of the Informational Model of Consciousness as an informational system of the human body, connected both to the environment and to the body itself, to control the adaptation for survival. It is shown that consciousness is actually an informational projection in the mind of seven informational subsystems, three of which forming the operative system of consciousness for the short-term adaptation, and other three forming the programmed operating system, dedicated to the maintenance of body and to the long-term survival of species, showing various inputs and outputs of information. The seventh subsystem is the information pole, connecting the organism with the external information, especially related to the extra-sensorial properties of the mind, the human body appearing as a bipolar info-matter structure, managed by the brain. The received information is progressively integrated into the informational system of the organism, which absorbs and emanates information as a reactive system for adaptation, able to operate both with matter-related (codified) and non-matter related (virtual) information. As both connections with external and internal environment (body itself) can be described in terms of information, this model opens the gate to investigate consciousness by means of the tools of the information science, offering also answers to the philosophic “mind-body” problem and to the “hard” problem and showing correspondences with some ancient philosophies.展开更多

文摘The global health landscape has been persistently challenged by the emergence and re-emergence of infectious diseases.Traditional epidemiological models,rooted in the early 2oth century,have provided foundational in-sights into disease dynamics.However,the intricate web of modern global interactions and the exponential growth of available data demand more advanced predictive tools.This is where AI for Science(AI4S)comes into play,offering a transformative approach by integrating artificial intelligence(Al)into infectious disease pre-diction.This paper elucidates the pivotal role of AI4s in enhancing and,in some instances,superseding tradi-tional epidemiological methodologies.By harnessing AI's capabilities,AI4S facilitates real-time monitoring,sophisticated data integration,and predictive modeling with enhanced precision.The comparative analysis highlights the stark contrast between conventional models and the innovative strategies enabled by AI4S.In essence,Al4S represents a paradigm shift in infectious disease research.It addresses the limitations of traditional models and paves the way for a more proactive and informed response to future outbreaks.As we navigate the complexities of global health challenges,Al4S stands as a beacon,signifying the next phase of evolution in disease prediction,characterized by increased accuracy,adaptability,and efficiency.

文摘Since early 1950 s,many domestic and foreign medical schools have carried out the integrated teaching reform of medical education. In our school of basic medical sciences,there have been three types of integrated curriculum reform carried out in history,i. e. horizontally integrated courses,problem-oriented basic medical sciences curriculum, and organ system-based integrated curriculum. This article reviews the experience of these three teaching reforms and the problems encountered and hopes to provide some references for the integration of basic medical sciences curriculum of other medical schools.

文摘Earth system science is an interdisciplinary effort to understand the fundamentals and interactions of environmental processes.Interdisciplinary research is challenging since it demands the integration of scientific schemes and practices from different research fields into a collaborative work environment.This paper introduces the framework F4ESS that supports this integration.F4ESS provides methods and technologies that facilitate the development of integrative work environments for Earth system science.F4ESS enables scientists a)to outline structured and summarized descriptions of scientific procedures to facilitate communication and synthesis,b)to combine a large variety of distributed data analysis software into seamless data analysis chains and workflows,c)to visually combine and interactively explore the manifold spatiotemporal data and results to support understanding and knowledge creation.The F4ESS methods and technologies are generic and can be applied in various scientific fields.We discuss F4EsS in the context of the interdisciplinary investigation of flood events.

文摘1 Initial construction of JESTwenty years ago, research on environmental science was extended beyond its initial scope including pollution source surveys, environmental pollution monitoring, and treatment of the "three wastes" (waste water, waste gas, and solid waste) to a full concern with the behavior, tendencies and harmful effects of pollutants in the environment as well as the overall understanding of the ecosystem. Environmental scientists came to realize that the solutions to environmental problems and their fields of study could no longer be restricted to a particular region or country, but needed exchanges with foreign scholars and transnational cooperation between scientists. 文摘The founding of China Institute of Chinese Medicine, known now as the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, was proclaimed in December 1955 in Beijing. Premier ZHOU En-lai commemorated the occasion with his inscription extolling "to carry forward the heritage of Chinese medicine". Just before and after its establishment, the Academy recruited numbers of famous Chinese and Western medicine specialists all over the country to participate in this endeavour.
