To test self healing capability of asphalt binders,three asphalt specimens(pure asphalt,modified asphalt and aged asphalt) were prepared.Every specimen was tested by dynamic shear rheometer(DSR).The temperature sw...To test self healing capability of asphalt binders,three asphalt specimens(pure asphalt,modified asphalt and aged asphalt) were prepared.Every specimen was tested by dynamic shear rheometer(DSR).The temperature sweeps result indicates that both aging and SBS modifying influence the self healing capability of asphalt binder.The fatigue-heal-fatigue test was introduced to study the self healing capability of asphalt in its serving periods.Furthermore,three different periods(0.5 h,1 h,3 h) were set up to study the influence of rest time on fatigue time.It is concluded that longer rest time,less load will delay the appearance of cracks and extend the service life of asphalt binders.展开更多

Asphalt pavements with a healing capability are believed to be very useful since they can extend the pavement service life thanks to rest periods and hot summers. In order to design durable asphalt pavements,research in understanding and upgrading the self-healing capability of bituminous materials in time is of major importance. The self healing capability of bituminous mastic was evaluated in this research with a direct tension healing test. In the test program,different healing times,crack status and modifications were applied. The results indicate that elastic recovery and flow capacity are important factors for the self healing capability of bituminous materials at different crack phases as simulated with the direct tension test.展开更多

To minimize the environmental pollution caused by polymeric waste,materials based dynamic chemistry have attracted extensive attention around the world.Various dynamic covalent bonds or noncovalent interactions have b...To minimize the environmental pollution caused by polymeric waste,materials based dynamic chemistry have attracted extensive attention around the world.Various dynamic covalent bonds or noncovalent interactions have been employed to design multifunctional polymers with recyclability,reprocessablility,and sustainability.Among them,polymers based on reversible boron–oxygen(B–O)bonds have been widely investigated because of their unique properties.Particularly,lots of scientists have demonstrated that the combination with boron–nitrogen(B–N)coordination can effectively accelerate the dynamicity as well as enhance the stability of B–O bonds.Therefore,numerous polymers containing dynamic B–O bonds with dative B–N coordination have been designed and synthesized in recent years.These polymers exhibit excellent versatility and great potential for diverse applications such as biosensors,battery electrolytes,and artificial skins.This review provides an overview of the comprehensive influence of dynamic B–N coordination chemistry on B–O bonds in organoboron species and highlights the developments in the area of constructing boron‐containing polymeric materials with this interesting linkage.The design guidelines,existing challenges,and future perspectives in this burgeoning field are discussed and proposed.展开更多
This paper presents a methodology for planning new SDH target transmission network in China,which is of,in structure into four levels: the inter province backbone network,the intra province backbone networks,loc...This paper presents a methodology for planning new SDH target transmission network in China,which is of,in structure into four levels: the inter province backbone network,the intra province backbone networks,local networks,and subscriber access networks.At meantime,in order to obtain high degree of network survivability,topology configure of protection and reconfiguration for each level network is also discussed. In order to help the planner in computer aid design and analysis,a modified integrated self healing network design algorithms ( The integration of Capacity Assignment Optimization Algoritms, R D, SSR and DSH ) which support this planning methodology is presented and discussed.The computer simulation results are also given to show the practical application of this methodology and benefits of this algorithm.The results show that this algorithm is very effective for designing a higher degree of self healing network with least spare capacity.展开更多
