Similar to device-independent quantum key distribution (DI-QKD), semi-device-independent quantum key distribu- tion (SDI-QKD) provides secure key distribution without any assumptions about the internal workings of the QKD devices. The only assumption is that the dimension of the Hilbert space is bounded. But SDI-QKD can be implemented in a one- way prepare-and-measure configuration without entanglement compared with DI-QKD. We propose a practical SDI-QKD protocol with four preparation states and three measurement bases by considering the maximal violation of dimension witnesses and specific processes of a QKD protocol. Moreover, we prove the security of the SDI-QKD protocol against collective attacks based on the min-entropy and dimension witnesses. We also show a comparison of the secret key rate between the SDI-QKD protocol and the standard QKD. 展开更多

His dynamics is very rich because it provides areas of regular be-havior, chaotic ones and multiple quantum tun-neling depending on the energy of the system as the Planck’s constant varies from 0 to 1. The Time Dependent Variational Principle TDVP using generalized Gaussian trial wave function, which, in many-body theory leads to the Hartree Fock Approximation TDHF, is added to the tech-niques of Gaussian effective potentials and both are used to study the system. The extended classical system with fluctuation variables non- linearly coupled to the average variables exhibit energy dependent transitions between regular behavior and semi quantum chaos monitored by bifurcation diagram together with some numerical indicators. 展开更多

Within the framework of compact density matrix approach and iterative procedure, a detailed procedure for the calculation of the second-harmonic generation (SHG)susceptibility tensor is given in the electric-field-biased parabolic and semi-parabolic quantum wells (QWs). The simple analytical formula for the SHG susceptibility in the systems is also deduced. Numerical results on typical AlGaAs/GaAs materials show that, for the same effective width,the SHG susceptibility in semi-parabolic QW is larger than that in parabolic QW due to the self-asymmetry of the semiparabolic QW, and the applied electric field can make the SHG susceptibilities in both systems enhance remarkably.Moreover, the SHG susceptibility is also related to the parabolic confinement frequency and the relaxation rate of the systems. 展开更多

This paper studies quantum diffusion in semi-infinite one-dimensional periodic lattice and quasiperiodic Fibonacci lattice. It finds that the quantum diffusion in the semi-infinite periodic lattice shows the same properties as that for the infinite periodic lattice. Different behaviour is found for the semi-infinite Fibonacci lattice. In this case, there are still C(t) - t^-δ and d(t) - t^β. However, it finds that 0 〈δ 〈 1 for smaller time, and δ = 0 for larger time due to the influence of surface localized states. Moreover, β for the semi-infinite Fibonacci lattice is much smaller than that for the infinite Fibonacci lattice. Effects of disorder on the quantum diffusion are also discussed. 展开更多

Detailed Quantum Mechanical QSAR Analysis of Certain Aminopyrimidoisoquinolinequinones with Anticancer Activity

A detailed quantum mechanical analysis of electronic disposition of five aminopyrimidoisoquinolinequinones (APIQs) was performed after extraction of this subset of compounds from a larger data set of APIQs via a reported clustering methodology (Elfaki, et al. 2020). Both semi empirical PM3 method and DFT quantum mechanical methods were used to calculate global and local quantum mechanical descriptors (QMDs) to define the electronic environment of these molecules in attempt to rationalize their observed anti-cancer response variability. The biological response is the anticancer activity against human gastric adenocarcenoma (AGS) cell line. The correlation matrix between the calculated global electronic descriptors and biological activity demonstrated that the global dipole moment gives the highest correlation. The local electronic environment was analysed by The Mullikan charges (MC) and Fukui functions for N-5, C-6, C-8 in addition to the N atom of phenylamino side group at C-8. MCs furnished no useful information as each of these atoms had almost identical MC values for all the five compounds with exception of C-6 which gave varied values. Regressing MCs of C-6 against the response traces 60% of the latter variability. As C-6 is an extra annular methyl carbon adjacent to N-5 in isoquinoline residue of APIQ, we reasoned that the chemical reactivities of 4 out of the 5 APIQs might be due to a Chichibabin-type tautomerism implying a possible alkylation aspect in their mechanism of action. The corresponding Fukui functions (f<sup>-</sup>, f<sup>+</sup> and f<sup>0</sup>) showed a considerable consistency with the patterns of chemical reactivity exhibited by this small set of APIQs. 展开更多

Correlation Study on Sweetness of Amino Acid with Different Configurations and Quantum Chemical Parameters

Quantum chemical parameters of 10 amino acids with D- and L-configurations were firstly calculated with semi-empirical AM1 method. Furthermore, the relationship between molecular structures of D-, L-amino acids and their sweetness were observed. The results show that upon different configurations of amino acids, the sweetness is relative with their formation heat, dipole moment, energy gap of frontier orbital and other parameters. The formation heats of the same amino acids possessing D- and L-configurations are different except glycine. The algebraic value of D-amino acid is generally larger than that of corresponding L-configuration with only one except of tyrosine. The dipole moment of D-amino acid is generally larger than that of corresponding L-amino acid except tyrosine and lysine. The lowest unoccupied orbital energy (ELUMO) of D-amino acid is higher than that of corresponding L-configuration except phenylalanine. △E of D-amino acid is larger than that of L-amino acid except histidine, phenylalanine and lysine. The larger gap will have advantage for its matching with frontier orbital energy of human protein acceptor, which strengthens the interaction between D-amino acid and sweet taste acceptor. Besides, the changing rules of these parameters are generally identical. 展开更多

We find that in a supersymmetric quantum mechanics (SUSY QM) system,in addition to supersymmetric algebra,an associated SU(2) algebra can be obtained by using semiunitary (SUT) operator and projection operator, and the relevant constants of motion can be constructed.Two typical quantum systems are investigated as examples to demonstrate the above finding.The first example is the quantum system of a nonrelativistic charged particle moving in x-y plane and coupled to a magnetic field along z-axis.The second example is provided with the Dirac particle in a magnetic field.Similarly there exists an SUr(2)(?)SU_σ(2) symmetry in the context of the relativistic Pauli Hamiltonian squared.We show that there exists also an SU(2) symmetry associated with the supersymmetry of the Dirac particle. 展开更多

The existence of higher dimensions, in itself if the additional dimensions are small and compact will have no capacity to influence the frequency values of relic GW, as predicted by Giovanni, and others in 1995. In this paper I have shown that squeezed modified quantum vacua have an effect on the background geometry by solving the semi-classical Einstein Field Equations in modified vacuum. The resultant geometry is similar to (anti) de Sitter spacetime. This geometry could explain the change of causal structure—speed of light—in such vacua without violating diffeomorphism covariance or causality. The superluminal propagation of photons in Casimir vacuum is deduced from the effective electromagnetic action in the resultant curved geometry. Singling between different vacua is shown not to violate causality as well when the geometric effect on the null rays is considered, causing a refraction of those rays when traveling between unbounded and modified vacua. 展开更多

针对量子密封拍卖协议中报价隐私保护不足、第三方不可信、对参与双方量子能力要求较高等情况,提出了一种将高能级单粒子作为信息载体的基于半量子秘密比较的量子密封投标拍卖协议。协议过程无需第三方参与,且采用半量子方式,仅要求拍... 针对量子密封拍卖协议中报价隐私保护不足、第三方不可信、对参与双方量子能力要求较高等情况,提出了一种将高能级单粒子作为信息载体的基于半量子秘密比较的量子密封投标拍卖协议。协议过程无需第三方参与,且采用半量子方式,仅要求拍卖方为强量子能力方,投标方仅需拥有反射粒子及制备单粒子的能力。协议利用半量子秘密比较,实现对投标方报价的隐私保护,拍卖方仅能获得报价之间的大小关系,而无法获取具体报价。文中通过理论分析证明了所提协议具有较高的安全性,能够抵御测量-重发攻击、截获-重发攻击、纠缠攻击、共谋攻击等多种攻击,且协议通信效率较稳定,不受投标人数的影响。 展开更多
