[ Method] With positive indirect hemagglutination test kit for detecting antibodies against Mycoplasma oviovipneumoniae, 965 sheep sera and 208 goat sera were collected in Qinghai Province from 2006 to 2008 and detected. [ Result ] The positive rate of sheep sera and goat sera was 30.4% and 19.7%, respectively. The posi- tive rate of sheep sera collected from different regions ranged from 19.7% to 40.2%, and that of goat sere ranged from 6.6% to 22.2%. In addition, the incidence in winter and spring was higher than that in summer and autumn. [ Conclusion ] The infection rate of Mycoplasrna ovipneumoniae should be higher in Qinghai region than in other western regions, so it is necessary to strengthen the prevention and control of this disease.展开更多

[ Method] Between May 2009 and April 2010, all serum samples from the Henan Agriculture University, Animal Disease Detection and Diagnosis Center were detected, including 6 825 serum samples for detecting classical swine fever (CSF) antibody, 2 609 for porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) antibody, 1 177 for pseudorabies rabies virus gE (PRV) antibody, 123 for porcine parvovirus (PPV) antibody and 53 for chlamydiosis antibody. [ Result] The antibody positive rates of sere for de- tecting above five diseases were 63.28%, 61.44%, 25.49%, 39.84% and 5.66%, respectively. [ Conclusion] The immunization and prevention of CSF, PRRS, PPV and PR in Henan Province needs to be strengthened urgently, and the chlamvdiosis has been effectively controlled.展开更多

In total, 877 blood samples from 694 suspected Ebola virus di...This study aimed to investigate the serological characteristics of Ebola virus(EBOV) infection during the late phase of the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone. In total, 877 blood samples from 694 suspected Ebola virus disease(EVD) cases assessed from March to December 2015, were analyzed via real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) for viral RNA and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) and Luminex to detect antibodies against EBOV. Viral load and EBOV-specific IgM/IgG titers displayed a declining trend during March to December 2015. Viral RNA load decreased rapidly at earlier stages after disease onset, while EBOV-specific IgM and IgG still persisted in 58.1%(18/31) and 93.5%(29/31) of the confirmed EVD patients and in 3.8%(25/663) and 17.8%(118/663) of the RNA-negative suspected patients in the later phase, respectively. Dynamic analysis of longitudinally collected samples from eight EVD patients revealed typically reversed trends of declining viral load and increasing IgM and/or IgG titers in response to the EBOV infection.The present results indicate that certain populations of Sierra Leone developed immunity to an EBOV infection in the late phase of the outbreak, providing novel insights into the risk assessment of EBOV infections among human populations.展开更多
