Inhibitors are important for flotation separation of quartz and feldspar.In this study,a novel combined inhibitor was used to separate quartz and feldspar in near-neutral pulp.Selective inhibition of the combined inhi...Inhibitors are important for flotation separation of quartz and feldspar.In this study,a novel combined inhibitor was used to separate quartz and feldspar in near-neutral pulp.Selective inhibition of the combined inhibitor was assessed by micro-flotation experiments.And a series of detection methods were used to detect differences in the surface properties of feldspars and quartz after flotation reagents and put forward the synergistic strengthening mechanism.The outcomes were pointed out that pre-mixing combined inhibitors were more effective than the addition of Ca^(2+)and SS in sequence under the optimal proportion of 1:5.A concentrate from artificial mixed minerals that was characterized by a high quartz grade and a high recovery was acquired,and was found to be 90.70wt% and 83.70%,respectively.It was demonstrated that the combined inhibitor selectively prevented the action of the collector and feldspar from Fourier-transform infrared(FT-IR)and adsorption capacity tests.The results of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)indicated that Ca^(2+)directly interacts with the surface of quartz to increase the adsorption of collectors.In contrast,the chemistry property of Al on the feldspar surface was altered by combined inhibitor due to Na^(+)and Ca^(2+)taking the place of K^(+),resulting in the composite inhibitor forms a hydrophilic structure,which prevents the adsorption of the collector on the surface of feldspar by interacting with the Al active site.The combination of Ca^(2+)and SS synergically strengthens the difference of collecting property between quartz and feldspar by collector,thus achieving the effect of efficient separation.A new strategy for flotation to separate quartz from feldspar in near-neutral pulp was provided.展开更多

BACKGROUND Gastric cancer is a kind of malignant tumor which is prevalent all over the world.Although some progress has been made in the treatment of gastric cancer,its prognosis is still not optimistic,so it is of gr...BACKGROUND Gastric cancer is a kind of malignant tumor which is prevalent all over the world.Although some progress has been made in the treatment of gastric cancer,its prognosis is still not optimistic,so it is of great significance to find reliable prog-nostic indicators to guide the treatment and management of patients with gastric cancer.AIM To explore the relationship between serum levels of five biomarkers[carcinoem-bryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen(CA)19-9,CA72-4,CA24-2,and ferritin]and prognosis in patients with gastric cancer.METHODS This study included 200 patients with gastric adenocarcinoma,and conducted an in-depth analysis of their baseline characteristics,relationship between tumor markers and staging,and prognosis.The study found that CA19-9 has a signi-ficant correlation with tumor stage,the average levels of CA24-2,CEA,CA72-4 and ferritin were slightly increased disregarding the stage of tumor.Survival analysis showed that increases in CEA,CA19-9,CA24-2,and ferritin were all associated with shortened overall survival of patients.Further multivariate ana-lysis revealed that elevated serum CA72-4 levels were an inde-pendent adverse prognostic factor.RESULTS This study reveals that there is a significant correlation between the expression levels of serum tumor markers CEA,CA19-9,CA72-4,CA24-2 and ferritin in patients with gastric cancer and prognosis,and can be used as important indicators for prognostic evaluation of gastric cancer.In particular,markers that appear abnormally elevated initially may help identify gastric cancer patients with poor prognosis.CONCLUSION Serum CEA and CA19-9 play an important role in the prognosis assessment of gastric cancer,and are effective tools to guide clinical practice and optimize individualized treatment strategies for gastric cancer patients.展开更多
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of rituximab in the treatment of idiopathic membranous nephropathy with varying levels of serum phospholipase A2 receptor antibodies.Methods:A total of 137 patients with idiopathi...Objective:To investigate the efficacy of rituximab in the treatment of idiopathic membranous nephropathy with varying levels of serum phospholipase A2 receptor antibodies.Methods:A total of 137 patients with idiopathic membranous nephropathy admitted to Beijing Sixth Hospital were selected.Based on their blood PLA2R antibody levels before rituximab treatment,patients were categorized into the PLA2R antibody positive group(n=94)and the PLA2R antibody negative group(n=43).They were followed up for at least 1 year,during which the efficacy,measured through 24-hour urine protein quantification and serum albumin levels,were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:After 3 months of treatment,there was no significant difference in the quantitative levels of 24-hour urine protein between the two groups(P>0.05).However,after 6 and 12 months of treatment,there was a significant difference in the levels of 24-hour urine protein between the two groups(P<0.05).Additionally,after 3 months of treatment,there was a notable difference in the serum albumin levels between the two groups(P<0.05).However,after 6 and 12 months of treatment,there was no significant difference in serum albumin levels between the two groups(P>0.05).Analysis of complications in the two groups revealed that in the positive group,9 individuals experienced thrombosis,5 had infections,and 11 developed acute kidney injury(AKI).In contrast,in the negative group,5 individuals had thrombosis,2 had infections,and 3 developed AKI.There was no statistically significant difference in complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Serum anti-PLA2R antibody levels provide valuable insights into the clinical observation of rituximab treatment for idiopathic membranous nephropathy.They aid in understanding the disease’s pathogenesis,evaluating treatment efficacy,and predicting disease prognosis.展开更多
