A Trustworthy Group Identifying Trust Metric for P2P Service Sharing Economy Based on Personal Social Network of Users

With the quick growth of sharing economy, service sharing becomes a popular phenomenon in daily lives. However, some service providers give exaggerated information about their services on the Peer-to-Peer（P2 P） service sharing platforms to get more profits. How to identify a reliable service provider becomes a difficult challenge for users. In this paper, we propose a trustworthy group trust metric for P2 P service sharing（TMPSS） economy based on personal social network（PSN） of users. Deriving from Advogato group trust metric, it considers factors such as social circle similarity, preference similarity, interaction degree, ranks the reliable nodes in a target user＇s PSN, outputs an ordered set of reliable nodes, and prevents unreliable nodes from access PSN of honest users. Experimental results show that TMPSS has advantages over existing representative methods because it finds more reliable nodes, and counts against malicious nodes＇ attacks more effectively, and it is suitable for mobile transaction circumstances.

Accounting treatment and internal controls in financial shared services ofmultinational corporations

Financial shared services （FSS） play an important role in multinational corporations for the effective cost management. FSS also can reduce errors and fraud so as to achieve perfect internal controls by standardized and procedural business processes which are important parts of internal controls. This paper emphasizes on two popular procedures and methods in multinational corporations. One is balance sheet reconciliation. It can illustrate the situation of accounts on an accrual basis which are the focus of internal audit and external audit. The other is Interco-Sop （Intercompany-standard operating procedure） which are important for to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of accounting system and internal controls.

Financial shared services in multinational corporations： Based on Motorola

The competition of Multinational Corporation is getting more and more intense with the economy globalization, requiring companies to standardize operations to stay competitive. Shared Services is an effective way of keeping costs down and improving efficiency by moving certain functions to one central location. Financial Shared Services is one of the typical representatives. In this essay, the advantages and disadvantages of Financial Shared Services will be discussed on the case of Motorola and explored with some possible solutions.

Can Financial Shared Services Improve Business Performance?Evidence from Chinese A-share Listed Corporations

Taking Chinese A-share listed corporations as sample,this paper studies whether the implementation of financial shared service center,an IT-based financial management practice,can significantly improve the business performance.We conduct Wilcoxon rank sum test and OLS regression model.The results show that there is a significant difference in business performance between the corporations without financial shared service center and the matching samples which have implemented financial shared service.In addition,the positive effect of financial shared services on business performance has a time-lag.As the corporations become adept on financial shared services,their business performance such as profitability,operating ability and growth could be improved steadily.Our study provides suggestions on whether corporations’might upgrade their financial system and how to evaluate the implementation results.

A Discussion on the Establishment of Financial Shared Service Center for Medical Groups

Financial transformation has become a trend,and under the influence of medical reform policies,such as the zero-price difference in pharmaceutical consumables and medical insurance payment by disease,the cost pressure on the medical industry is exceptionally high.The primary focus of this paper is on how to integrate resources and obtain cost advantages through financial shared service center,so as to increase the competitiveness of regional medical groups.

Quality Management of Financial Shared Service Center in the Digitalization Context:A Case Study of HX Financial Shared Services Center

In the digitalization context,a financial shared services center(FSSC)is designed to engage quality management in providing standardized financial shared services and risk control,completing the fundamental financial work,and offering value-added financial services to customers.The means that all these services are delivered has drawn attention from both theoretical and practical communities.Yet few researches has been conducted so far in this regard.Based on the Grounded Theory research method,this paper looks at the related quality management methods and summarizes findings in financial shared services centers,based on the case study of HX Financial Shared Services Center.This paper also analyzes FSSC definition,FSSC quality management,digitalization applied in FSSC quality management,and FSSC e-quality management development in this digitalization context.This paper can serve as references to counterparts engaging in FSSC quality management and to supplement the prevailing theories on FSSC quality management application.

Private or on-demand autonomous vehicles?Modeling public interest using a multivariate model

With the likely future of autonomous vehicles(AVs)as private,ride-hailing,and pooled vehicles,it is important to consider all forms of AVs when estimating the impacts of automation on travel behavior.To aid this,this study jointly models the public interest in three forms of AVs(owning,ride-hailing,and using pooled services)and compares the interests in owning versus ride-hailing AVs using a combination of structural equation modeling and multivariate ordered probit modeling frameworks.Using the 2019 California Vehicle Survey data,we estimate the impacts of several exogenous and latent variables on all forms of AV adoption.We find that the individual,household,travel-related,and built-environment factors are related to different forms of AV adoption directly and indirectly through attitudes toward human and automated driving.We also report that human and automated driving sentiments have the highest impact on interest in owning an AV compared to interest in ride-hailing and using pooled AVs.We discuss several policy implications by calculating the pseudo-elasticity effects of exogenous variables and the sensitivities of the impacts on latent variables on different forms of AV adoption.For example,public interest in owning private AVs can be increased by more than 7%by making them familiar with autonomous technology.

A framework on task configuration and execution for distributed geographical simulation

Geographical simulation is a popular method in geographical and environmental research.Many models developed to address geographic and environmental issues are distributed worldwide.However,due to the lack of portals,these models are still difficult to invoke for geographical simulations in open web environments.This study designs and develops a framework to assemble service-oriented models from volunteers distributed worldwide for geographical simulations on the web.The framework consists of three layers(task layer,data exchange layer,and model execution layer)that establish a network of serviceoriented locally shared models and simulation tasks for user configurations.With the help of such a framework,users can configure simulation tasks and invoke suitable models shared worldwide for geographical simulations.This article provides an application of the distributed simulation of gross primary production(GPP)by the Biome-BioGeochemical Cycles(BGC)model in China.This application shows that the framework can be beneficial for model assembly from volunteers’computers and distributed simulation tasks that are run for geographical and environmental issues,which can be applied to Digital Earth initiatives.
