Evaluating the confidence level of Traditional Chinese Medicine in nursing undergraduates at Chinese medical university

Objective:To observe the confidence level prevailing with regard to the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)among undergraduate nursing students who have undertaken TCM courses at Shanxi Medical University.Methods:This cross-sectional study was conducted at Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine.A questionnaire survey was administered through the Questionnaire Star website(https://www.questionstar.com/).The confidence level was examined from 6 aspects,namely cognition of TCM culture and theory,advantages and characteristics of TCM diagnosis and treatment,feelings about TCM achievements,personal behaviors related to TCM,attitudes toward Western medicine,and the future of TCM.The mean score of the observed items was calculated,and was found to be positively related to the confidence level concerning TCM(the score was between 1 and 5).Results:A total of 120 participants voluntarily enrolled themselves in the study.The results showed that the mean score of observed items were generally about 4.A relatively strong confidence was shown in understating TCM advantages and characteristics in diagnosis and treatment,and also in feelings toward TCM achievements.Conclusions:The majority of nursing undergraduates had confidence in TCM.However,some aspects such as the understanding of TCM culture and the correlation between TCM and Western medicine may need to be improved through education.

The development of traditional Chinese medicine

Similar to other medicines,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)originated from the need for various practical solutions to treat diseases.It is a knowledge system summarized and condensed by the Chinese nation in the health care practice for thousands of years.TCM continues to serve the health care system.This study summarized the history,health concept,main treatment strategies and methods,current development,and future perspectives of TCM.It may provide a more comprehensive image of the overall TCM system.

Dialogue with Dr. Lixing Lao:from a factory electrician to an international scholar of Chinese medicine

Dr. Lixing Lao, an internationally known scholar of Chinese medicine renowned for his clinical and mechanisms research, is the Director of the Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM） Program at the Center for Integrative Medicine, University of Maryland （UM） School of Medicine; the Co-Chair of the Acupuncture Research Society; and the former Editor-in-Chief of the American Acupuncturist, the official journal of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. The Baltimore Magazine has listed Dr. Lao as one of the nation＇s top acupuncture practitioners （Figure 1 ）.

The 7th Pong Ding Yuen International Symposium on Traditional Chinese Medicine cum the 10th Anniversary of the Full-time Bachelor of Chinese Medicine Programme Was Successfully Organized by the School of Chinese Medicine,the University of Hong Kong

The School of Chinese Medicine, the University of Hong Kong has organized the 7th Pong Ding Yuen International Symposium on Traditional Chinese Medicine cum the 10th Anniversary of the Full-time Bachelor of Chinese Medicine Programme on 1 December, 2012, and 2 December, 2012, in Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong.

基于Web of Science近十年我国5所中医药大学科技论文文献计量学研究

目的分析"老五所"中医药院校的科技论文收录情况,从一定程度上反映各高校的综合科研能力。方法以近十年(2007年1月~2017年5月)Web of Science数据库收录的"老五所"科技论文为分析对象,运用文献计量学方法,对文献进行统计分析,从自然科学和人文社会科学两个方面的文献发文量、来源出版物、论文被引情况、影响因子、H指数、优势学科等方面进行分析。结果 "老五所"论文发表数量呈逐年增长趋势,但论文平均影响因子与被引量不高;在SCIE收录的科技论文中,Evidence Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine是出现频次最高的来源出版物;在优势学科比较中,中药学与中西医结合医学发展较好,但中医学较弱;与自然科学相比,人文社会科学发展缓慢。结论 "老五所"科技论文在保证数量稳步上升的同时,应保证其质量,协同发展弱势学科和中医药特色学科,进一步彰显"老五所"综合实力。

Appreciation of One Prescription by Jin Zijiu (金子久)

Jin Zijiu(金子久),taught by his father Jin Zhishi(金芝石),is a famous doctor in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republican period(1840-1928).With remarkable medical skills and high medical ethics,Jin Zijiu has lots of students and is especially good at treating warm diseases.By analyzing one prescription of Jin Zijiu preserved in Shanghai Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine(上海中医药博物馆),this article explains his academic thought and clinical experience and shows his superb literary and artistic accomplishment.

Understanding of He Hongfang’s Prescription(何鸿舫方)

He Hongfang(何鸿舫),a medical scholar in the Qing Dynasty,was the 24th descendant of He’s family in Jiangnan Region.He was famous in Shanghai during the reign of Tongzhi and Guangxu for his medicine and calligraphy.This article introduces two frames of prescriptions of He Hongfang in the Shanghai Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine for appreciation。

高等中医药院校核医学课程思政的探索与实践

核医学是利用放射性核素标记的分子探针进行疾病诊断、治疗及科研工作的学科,是现代医学的重要组成部分,其在解码中医、服务中医药科研和中医药临床疗效评价等方面具有独特优势。本文探索高等中医药院校核医学课程思政的教学改革,挖掘核医学课程思政元素,把课程思政与核医学教学有机融合,将知识传授和价值引领有机统一,培养学生的中医文化自信、家国情怀、科技创新意识和职业道德素养,同时提高教师自身的政治觉悟,培养教师的育德能力。

高校招生视域下中医院校护理本科人才培养策略研究

目的了解全国中医院校护理学类本科专业招生现状,为中医院校培养具有中医特色的护理人才提供参考。方法采用目的抽样法,选取全国24所中医院校2021-2022年公布的护理学类本科专业招生情况作为研究对象,通过文本分析法进行资料分析。结果专业设置和专业布点在校际区域间差异较大,专业目标和课程设置对中医特色逐渐彰显,针对拔尖人才培养聚力不够,招生模式传统单一,生源质量整体偏弱。结论高校可通过优化专业结构、调整招生策略、深化教学改革、强化培养特色等,提升中医院校护理本科人才培养质量。

争创“双一流”中医药高校背景下构建良好导学关系模式探索

[目的]探索在争创“双一流”中医药高校的背景下,导学关系新模式的构建举措,以不断提升中医药高校研究生培养质量。[方法]在争创“双一流”中医药高校背景下,介绍构建良好导学关系的现实意义,基于导师和研究生两大主体的视角,对当前中医药高校研究生培养中导学关系存在的突出问题进行分析。[结果]以浙江中医药大学为例,从强化“尊师重道”正向影响、纠正导学关系失衡和完善相关制度三个方面入手,提出了相应的可行性建议。通过良好导学关系的构建,导学关系普遍得到了正向影响,师生间的沟通更加密切而高效。通过一系列正向激励机制,导师在学术引领、学业指导和生活关怀等方面更加积极主动地为研究生提供支持和帮助,研究生也更加积极地配合导师开展各项科研工作,研究生发表学术论文的数量和质量得到了显著的提升,导师团队的科研、教学工作开展更加高效,进展显著。[结论]通过一系列有效举措,浙江中医药大学着力探索导学关系新模式的构建,显著改善了导学关系,不仅对提升研究生专业思想水平、沟通交流能力、科研创新能力有积极的作用,同时也为导师顺利完成教学科研工作提供了保障,值得进一步完善并推广。

骨质疏松症海派中医临床诊疗专家共识

骨质疏松症(osteoporosis,OP)是一种进行性全身性骨骼疾病,其特征是骨量低、骨组织微结构退化,导致骨脆性增加和骨折风险升高[1]。我国首次居民OP流行病学调查显示,50岁以上人群OP患病率为19.2%,近三分之一的65岁以上人群患有OP,其中女性患病率约为男性的5倍[2]。骨折是OP患者主要的首发临床表现,多发生在髋部、椎骨、肱骨和前臂远端等部位[3-4]。研究[5]表明,45岁以上女性中,OP性骨折住院时长大于糖尿病或心肌梗死等疾病。

肺系疫病海派中医临床诊疗专家共识

疫病是外感疫疠邪气所引起的,具有强烈传染性,且易引起大流行的一类急性发热性疾病的统称,也可称作“瘟疫”“瘟病”等。肺系疫病是以肺系为主要传染部位的一类疫病,相当于西医呼吸系统传染病范畴,包括传染性非典型肺炎、流行性感冒和新型冠状病毒感染等疾病,主要以发热、咳嗽为主症,常伴有肌肉酸痛、头痛、乏力等全身症状。

卵巢癌腹水中西医结合临床诊疗专家共识

腹水是腹膜腔内的过量积液,主要由原发或转移性肿瘤表面裸露的毛细血管渗出导致。恶性肿瘤相关腹水占所有腹水类型的10%,其中又以卵巢癌最为常见。卵巢癌的发病率居女性生殖系统恶性肿瘤第三位,病死率居妇科恶性肿瘤之首[1]。绝大多数卵巢癌患者初诊时已出现广泛腹腔转移,大量腹水增加腹腔压力,引起不同程度恶心、呕吐、纳差、腹部胀痛、呼吸困难等症状,若不及时控制可进一步诱发心肺功能不全,危及生命。

腰椎间盘突出症上海中医骨伤流派临床诊疗专家共识

腰椎间盘突出症(lumbar disc herniation,LDH)是临床常见病、多发病,严重影响患者的正常生活[1]。LDH发病率很高,全世界范围内有2%~3%的普通人群受其影响,且以25~60岁人群多发[2]。目前LDH的治疗大体分为手术治疗与非手术治疗,均有较好的疗效,但前者适应证严格、费用高、术后恢复期长,相比之下,非手术治疗创伤小、安全性高,患者接受度高。

海派中医特色优势病种儿童腺样体肥大中医临床诊疗专家共识

腺样体是具有免疫作用的位于鼻咽顶和后壁交界处的淋巴组织团块,其随着年龄的增长而逐渐萎缩[1],腺样体肥大是指由于各种因素刺激腺样体淋巴组织而产生的病理性增生;对于该病的治疗中医优势较为明显,海派儿科根据多年临床实践经验在本病的治疗中提出“运脾治鼻”理念[2-4],并在临床以及机制研究中得到验证,但是目前尚缺乏基于流派经验的专家共识,本研究以龙华医院海派“徐氏儿科流派”学术思想为基础,结合文献研究结果制定儿童腺样体肥大中医诊疗专家共识。

中西医结合治疗卵巢癌骨髓抑制临床诊疗专家共识

卵巢癌常用的治疗方法是手术联合化学治疗(简称“化疗”),其中铂类与紫杉醇联合应用是一线化疗方案[1]。骨髓抑制是化疗后最常见的毒副反应之一,由于化疗药物抑制了细胞的快速分裂,致使骨髓中细胞活性降低,从而出现骨髓抑制[2],临床上主要以白细胞、红细胞、血小板及血红蛋白数量减少为主要表现,其中以白细胞数量减少较为多见,常伴随不同程度的贫血、出血及继发感染。

卵巢癌中西医结合“全周期”诊疗上海专家共识

上皮性卵巢癌发病隐匿,是女性生殖器官常见的恶性肿瘤之一,病死率居妇科恶性肿瘤之首。70%以上的上皮性卵巢癌患者在就诊时已属晚期,表现为盆腹腔内组织器官的广泛转移,5年生存率仅为30%左右[1]。除了早期筛查意识欠缺、诊断困难,卵巢癌患者的高复发率和复发后可选择方案少也是其高病死率的重要影响因素,患者的长期预后面临着极大的威胁。

A weight-loss clinic which uses traditional Chinese medicine was set up at the Xiangshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shanghai. In addition to doing exercises, patients receive a treatment of rhubarb that is applied externally or taken orally to lose weight.
