To improve ground vehicle efficiency, shift schedule energy saving was proposed for the ground vehicle automatic transmission by studying the function of the torque converter and transmission in the vehicular drivetrain. The shift schedule can keep the torque converter working in the high efficiency range under all the working conditions except in the low efficiency range on the left when the transmission worked at the lowest shift, and in the low efficiency range on the right when the transmission worked at the highest shift. The shift quality key factors were analysed. The automatic trans-mission's bench-test adopting this shift schedule was made on the automatic transmission's test-bed. The experimental results showed that the shift schedule was correct and that the shift quality was controllable. 展开更多

A kind of automatic shift schedule optimization method is provided for a tracked vehicle with hydrodynamic-mechanical transmission in order to improve its dynamic performance. A dynamic model of integrated hydrodynamic-mechanical transmission is built in MATLAB/Simdriveline environment, and an optimum shift schedule is derived by using iSight software to call the dynamic model above, then the shift schedule is achieved after optimization. The simulation results show that the method is significant to improve the dynamic performance and gear-shifting smoothness theoretically and practically. 展开更多

The shift scheduling system of the transmission has an important effect on the dynamic and economic performance of hybrid vehicles. In this work, shift scheduling strategies are developed for parallel hybrid construction vehicles. The effect of power distribution and direction on shift characteristics of the parallel hybrid vehicle with operating loads is evaluated, which must be considered for optimal shift control. A power distribution factor is defined to accurately describe the power distribution and direction in various parallel hybrid systems. This paper proposes a Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm optimized neural network shift scheduling strategy. The methodology contains two objective functions, it is a dynamic combination of a dynamic shift schedule for optimal vehicle acceleration, and an energy-efficient shift schedule for optimal powertrain efficiency. The study is performed on a test bench under typical operating conditions of a wheel loader. The experimental results show that the proposed strategies offer effective and competitive shift performance. 展开更多

Objectives:Newly graduated nurses commence night shifts during a phase of heightened vulnerability to reality shock,exacerbating the challenges faced by these graduates.Therefore,this study aimed to identify the challenges experienced by newly graduated nurses when undertaking night shifts in order to help identify a strategy for supporting their adaptation to these shifts.Methods:Semi-structured personal interviews were used to collect data.Fifteen newly graduated nurses were selected to participate in the study by purposive sampling method from November 2021 to March 2022 in one of four general hospitals situated in the southwestern region of Japan.Semi-structured interviews were analyzed by using thematic analysis.Results:The analysis revealedfive central themes and nine subthemes:challenges in task efficiency(task organization challenges,challenges in time-constrained task performance),challenges in responding to patients’changing conditions(challenges in responding to patients’irregular conditions,challenges in responding to nighttime changes in patients’behaviors),challenges in independent practice(challenges in engaging in independent nursing practice,challenges in dealing with unexpected events),challenges in establishing collaborative relationships(challenges in working closely with other staff,challenges in establishing collaborative relationships during night shifts with limited resources),challenges in adapting to shift work(challenges in managing physical conditions for shift work).Conclusions:Newly graduated nurses often encounter challenges in performing their tasks during the transition period.When working night shifts,they face additional hurdles unique to nocturnal duties.Thefindings underscore the necessity for these graduates to develop night shift-specific readiness to effectively navigate the demands inherent in such work schedules. 展开更多

Implementable Strategy Research of Brake Energy Recovery Based on Dynamic Programming Algorithm for a Parallel Hydraulic Hybrid Bus 被引量:6

The purpose of this paper is to develop an implementable strategy of brake energy recovery for a parallel hydraulic hybrid bus. Based on brake process analysis, a dynamic programming algorithm of brake energy recovery is established. And then an implementable strategy of brake energy recovery is proposed by the constraint variable trajectories analysis of the dynamic programming algorithm in the typical urban bus cycle. The simulation results indicate the brake energy recovery efficiency of the accumulator can reach 60% in the dynamic programming algorithm. And the hydraulic hybrid system can output braking torque as much as possible.Moreover, the accumulator has almost equal efficiency of brake energy recovery between the implementable strategy and the dynamic programming algorithm. Therefore, the implementable strategy is very effective in improving the efficiency of brake energy recovery.The road tests show the fuel economy of the hydraulic hybrid bus improves by 22.6% compared with the conventional bus. 展开更多

Manufacturing, mining and other large industrial operations often run around the clock and their employees report for work in shifts. The huge number of variables and the amount of knowledge that needs to be structured, integrated and synthesized forces the need for a system analysis process that is able to deal with such complexity. Work flexibility is a very important issue in Chile and in the rest of the world.
