Focusing on the most frequently used subject, the"horse"image in Shijing, this paper concluded its metaphorical meaning and analyzed the English translation by Xu Yuanchong from the perspective of conceptual metaphor proposed by George Lakoff and Mark Johnson in the light of preserving the metaphor and culture.展开更多
