The third harmonic superconducting cryomodule is being designed for the Shanghai High repetition rate XFEL and Extreme light facility(SHINE)project,which is under construction.In contrast to the European X-ray Free El...The third harmonic superconducting cryomodule is being designed for the Shanghai High repetition rate XFEL and Extreme light facility(SHINE)project,which is under construction.In contrast to the European X-ray Free Electron Laser(E-XFEL)project,the 3.9 GHz cryomodules in the SHINE project will operate in the continuous wave regime with higher radio frequency average power for both cavities and couplers.We propose a 3.9 GHz fundamental power coupler with an adjustable antenna length,for satisfying the SHINE project requirements.Here,we describe the 3.9 GHz fundamental power coupler's design considerations and power requirements for various operating modes of the SHINE Linac.We also present the results of the radio frequency simulation and optimization,including the studies on multipacting and thermal analysis of the proposed 3.9 GHz coupler.展开更多

DA containing neurons are found in ...The biogenic monoamines dopamine （DA）, norepinephrine （NE） and serotonin （5-hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT） are major neuromodulators in the mammalian central nervous system （CNS）. DA containing neurons are found in i） the mesolimbic system in which cell bodies in the ventral tegmental area （VTA） project axons into the amygdala, cortex, hippocampus and the nucleus accumbens; and ii） the nigrostriatal system in which cell bodies located in the substantia nigra pars compacta send their axons into the dorsolateral parts of the striatum （Bjorklund and Dunnett, 2007）. The central noradrenergic neurons are concentrated in distinct brainstem nuclei with the locus coeruleus （LC） being the most prominent nucleus which projects a diffusely arborizing axonal network to most areas of the CNS （Szabadi, 2013）.展开更多

The Shine-Dalgarno (SD) sequence, when present, is known to promote translation initiation in a bacterial cell. However, the thermodynamic stability of the messenger RNA (mRNA) through its secondary structures has an ...The Shine-Dalgarno (SD) sequence, when present, is known to promote translation initiation in a bacterial cell. However, the thermodynamic stability of the messenger RNA (mRNA) through its secondary structures has an inhibitory effect on the efficiency of translation. This poses the question of whether bacterial mRNAs with SD have low secondary structure formation or not. About 3500 protein-coding genes in <i>Rhodobacter sphaeroides</i> were analyzed and a sliding window analysis of the last 100 nucleotides of the 5’ UTR and the first 100 nucleotides of ORFs was performed using <i>RNAfold</i>, a software for RNA secondary structure analysis. It was shown that mRNAs with SD are less stable than those without SD for genes located on the primary chromosome, but not for the plasmid encoded genes. Furthermore, mRNA stability is similar for genes within each chromosome except those encoded by the accessory chromosome (second chromosome). Results highlight the possible contribution of other factors like replicon-specific nucleotide composition (GC content), codon bias, and protein stability in determining the efficiency of translation initiation in both SD-dependent and SD-independent translation systems.展开更多
