Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) was adopted to evaluate tourism resources for the development of sightseeing agriculture in Jiujiang City,and corresponding suggestions were put forward for its future development.

Though the development is going fast, it is quite blindfold for there is no reasonable overall plan; the production is at low level and requires more cultural connotation; the investment source is thin while the cooperation management hasn't been accomplished; a rudiment mode of varied sightseeing agriculture is forming rapidly. Based on this situation, five development modes are put forward for Zhenjiang's sightseeing agriculture, including: "enterprises as the main body of management" mode, "village committees as the main body of management" mode, "villagers as the main body of management" mode, government operating mode and joint development mode.展开更多

This paper takes the planning and design of fishing garden in Yanglei Township, Wen County, Henan Province as an example to discuss key points in the planning and design of agricultural eco-gardens which are based on the development of fishery for recreation, supported by agricultural picking, consider about its function of both production and sightseeing, highlight "water" landscapes. This garden has relatively rich soil, abundant water resources and good geothermal resources. With the flowing direction of water system as the main line, functional areas were designed along banks and, by combining with forms of the water system and changes of the landform, to form fishing garden landscapes with integration of motion and stillness. The whole garden is divided into 10 functional zones including central service area, water entertainment area, fishing area, lotus viewing area, reed eco-viewing area, barbecue area, camping area, natural leisure area, island sightseeing area and picking area, which can fulfill all leisure demands of tourists. Fishing garden is not common during the construction of new countryside in China, but it has the advantages of less investment, diversified benefits and beautifying the countryside, so it is suitable to be built in the countryside with abundant water resources to develop short-line tourism projects.展开更多

Huaibei is a typical coal resource-based city, the abundant coal resources lay a solid foundation for its economic development. Coal mining ha...Ecological planning plays an important role in the construction of cities. Huaibei is a typical coal resource-based city, the abundant coal resources lay a solid foundation for its economic development. Coal mining has induced a series of social problems, and affected the regional social and economic development. Ecological planning of Huaibei City concentrates on ecological restoration of coal mining subsidence, and applies circular economy to develop eco-agriculture, eco-tourism and eco-industry, which will contribute considerably to the economic transformation of the city. Analytic Hierarchy Process and mathematical statistical model were applied to calculate sustainable development indexes of Huaibei from 2002 to 2010. By evaluating the indexes, it was found that Huaibei City has a low sustainable development level, and 3 imbalanced subsystems as the major obstacle. The authors proposed countermeasures according to specific conditions of the city.展开更多
