Love is an eternal subject with many references in many novels,but Langston Hughes approaches it in a most simplified manner to portray the complex feeling of the protagonists.He achieves this inward complexity through carefully-treated outward simplicity.The paper discusses this art of writing in Early Autumn from such aspects as the dramatic point of view,well-designed setting,careful presentation and effective rhetorical devices.

Divine Simplicity and the Chinese Translation of Theos

Realism is the rational foundation for the translation of the Bible.To translate Theos in Chinese,the distinct terms神,上帝,and天主co-exist and they can be assessed by divine simplicity rationally and spiritually.One of the most difficult problems in Medieval philosophy,divine simplicity is caused by reason serving faith.Reconciling Aristotelian metaphysics with the ultimate object of faith,Aquinas defines that God is being itself and therefore he builds an ontological foundation for Christian theology and perfects divine simplicity.Related concretely with divine simplicity is the simplicity of Theos,so this paper argues that神is the best Chinese translation of Theos to reflect both the truth and the gospel.

Uncover the Aesthetic Simplicity Associated with Mass Transfer in Energy Materials

Aesthetics,referred frequently to as a philosophical term,has played a starring role in forming and evolving a number of aspects of human society,including arts,politics,economics,ethics,etc.Indeed,exploring and investigating the aesthetic phenomena in the scientific field have aroused insightful research findings,which in turn has stimulated research interests in such a science-aesthetics field.In particular,better-evaluated aesthetic aspects of the materials field are expected to be uncovered upon the exceedingly-exposed fundamental breakthroughs in researching the basic structure and functionality of materials.In this report,we glimpse into the aesthetic simplicity of energy materials and comprehend specifically the mass transfer functionalities of key categories of energy materials through an intuitive and bottom-up approach.Our effort aspires to shed new lights on the functionality understanding and manipulation of functional materials in general.

Quantum Voting Machine Encoded with Microwave Photons

We propose a simple quantum voting machine using microwave photon qubit encoding, based on a setup comprising multiple microwave cavities and a coupled superconducting flux qutrit. This approach primarily relies on a multi-control single-target quantum phase gate. The scheme offers operational simplicity, requiring only a single step, while ensuring verifiability through the measurement of a single qubit phase information to obtain the voting results. It provides voter anonymity, as the voting outcome is solely tied to the total number of affirmative votes. Our quantum voting machine also has scalability in terms of the number of voters.Additionally, the physical realization of the quantum voting machine is general and not limited to circuit quantum electrodynamics. Quantum voting machine can be implemented as long as the multi-control single-phase quantum phase gate is realized in other physical systems. Numerical simulations indicate the feasibility of this quantum voting machine within the current quantum technology.

Synthesis Methods and Property Control of Two-Dimensional Magnetic Materials

Two-dimensional(2D)magnetic materials have been demonstrated to have excellent chemical,optical,electrical,and magnetic properties,particularly in the development of multifunctional electronic and spin electronic devices,showcasing tremendous potential.Therefore,corresponding synthesis techniques for 2D magnetic materials that offer high quality,high yield,low cost,time-saving,and simplicity are highly desired.This review provides a comprehensive overview of recent research advances in preparation of magnetic 2D materials,with a particular focus on the preparation methods employed.Moreover,the characteristics and applications of these magnetic materials are also discussed.Finally,the challenges and prospects of synthesis methods for magnetic 2D materials are briefly addressed.This review serves as a guiding reference for the controlled synthesis of 2D magnetic materials.

基于SimpliciTI协议的井下液压支架压力无线监测系统的研究与应用

针对目前煤矿井下液压支架压力有线监测系统布线复杂和数据传输可靠性低的问题,设计了一种基于SimpliciTI协议的井下液压支架压力无线监测系统。该系统以无线射频芯片CC1101为核心,结合SimpliciTI协议,对液压支架的压力数据进行采集、显示、存储、无线路由及发送等操作,实现了对无线覆盖的整个工作面的液压支架压力监测。

Characterizing Superradiant Phase of the Quantum Rabi Model

Recently,a superradiant phase transition first predicted theoretically in the quantum Rabi model(QRM)has been verified experimentally.This further stimulates the interest in the study of the process of phase transition and the nature of the superradiant phase since the fundamental role of the QRM in describing the interaction of light and matter,and more importantly,the QRM contains rich physics deserving further exploration despite its simplicity.Here we propose a scheme consisting of two successive diagonalizations to accurately obtain the ground-state and excited states wavefunctions of the QRM in full parameter regime ranging from weak to deepstrong couplings.Thus,one is able to see how the phase transition occurs and how the photons populate in Fock space of the superradiant phase.We characterize the photon populations by borrowing the distribution concept in random matrix theory and find that the photon population follows a Poissonian-like distribution once the phase transition takes place and further exhibits the statistics of Gaussian unitary ensemble with increasing coupling strength.More interestingly,the photons in the excited states behave even like the statistics of Gaussian orthogonal ensemble.Our results not only deepen understanding on the superradiant phase transition but also provide an insight on the nature of the superradiant phase of the QRM and related models.

Two-Stage Procrustes Rotation with Sparse Target Matrix and Least Squares Criterion with Regularization and Generalized Weighting

In factor analysis, a factor loading matrix is often rotated to a simple target matrix for its simplicity. For the purpose, Procrustes rotation minimizes the discrepancy between the target and rotated loadings using two types of approximation: 1) approximate the zeros in the target by the non-zeros in the loadings, and 2) approximate the non-zeros in the target by the non-zeros in the loadings. The central issue of Procrustes rotation considered in the article is that it equally treats the two types of approximation, while the former is more important for simplifying the loading matrix. Furthermore, a well-known issue of Simplimax is the computational inefficiency in estimating the sparse target matrix, which yields a considerable number of local minima. The research proposes a new rotation procedure that consists of the following two stages. The first stage estimates sparse target matrix with lesser computational cost by regularization technique. In the second stage, a loading matrix is rotated to the target, emphasizing on the approximation of non-zeros to zeros in the target by least squares criterion with generalized weighing that is newly proposed by the study. The simulation study and real data examples revealed that the proposed method surely simplifies loading matrices.

基于无线传感网络的植物生长图像传输和分割算法研究

为了获取温室中植物生长图像信息,设计了一款能够监测温室内植物生长信息的无线智能图像采集节点,引入了休眠-唤醒机制大幅降低节点能耗。节点采用STM32ZET6芯片作为微控制器,CC1101为射频模块,扩展了OV7670图像传感器。将SimpliciTI射频网络协议移植到STM32处理器中,将采集的图像信息经过JPEG2000压缩后,分包多跳无线传输至服务器,服务器接收图像,利用改进型LoG算子实现图像分割,得到图像分割结果。结果表明:在温室环境中最大通信距离110 m,节点丢包率较低。一帧JPEG2000格式的温室内植物生长信息图像大小约18 kB,传输时间较短,节点在3.6 V锂电池供电下能工作20 d,汇聚节点接收一帧JPEG2000压缩后的图像时间为158 s。结论:图像节点在温室环境下,以较低能耗采集和传输植物生长信息图像,节点运行稳定,图像分割方法鲁棒性强,在光线变化较大的情况下分割仍然稳定。

SimpliciTI网络频率捷变机制的研究

针对SimpliciTI网络存在着跳频盲目性和通信初始信道易受到干扰的问题,引入FA帧模型,提出一种改进的频率捷变方案。该方案根据FA帧的同步码信息,采用时钟同步法构建网络的主从同步体系;通过SimpliciTI信道模型计算出的RSSI阀值,使频率捷变次数相对降低,进而提高网络的抗干扰能力和频谱利用率。研究结果表明,在40个通信节点的网络规模下,FA帧中同步码的错误检测概率与假同步概率均仅为0.13%,网络同步时钟的误差达到1.2ms,改进算法的频道切换次数平均降低3次。

基于SimpliciTI协议的无线自组织网络系统设计

SimpliciTI协议是TI推出的针对简单小型RF网络的专有低功耗RF协议。采用SimpliciTI网络协议,设计了一种无线自组织网络系统。该系统采用CC430F5137作为微处理器,配合其内部集成的CC1101无线收发器以及一些基本接口电路构成节点硬件系统。网络系统包括中心节点、路由节点和终端节点,分别对SimpliciTI网络协议及其拓扑结构进行了分析,并在此基础上进行软件设计,最终实现了基于SimpliciTI网络协议的串状网络通信系统。

基于CC1110的电力负荷无线数据通信系统设计

设计了一种采用低成本无线模块的蜂窝通信系统,由CC1110构成数据中心和终端节点,一个数据中心和多个终端节点组成基本蜂窝网络,内部通信采用SimpliciTI专有低功耗RF协议。不同蜂窝采用不同频段,保证了蜂窝的独立性。兼具分布式和集中式系统的特征,结构灵活、网络覆盖率高、可靠性高,可用于电力负荷管理系统中,完成负控终端数据采集以及与上位机之间的数据传输。

基于无线传感器网络的土壤湿度监控系统

为提高水资源的利用效率,且针对传统土壤湿度监控系统难以布线、抗干扰性能差等缺点,设计了一种无线土壤湿度监控系统。传感器节点以CC430单片机为节点核心并辅有土壤湿度传感器等一些外部元件,多节点间应用SimpliciTI无线通信协议组成一个小型的射频网络。主控节点通过GPRS模块向数据监控中心上传传感器节点采集的湿度数据并管理灌溉控制模块,数据监控中心可向无线网络发送控制命令。实验结果显示,基于协议的该系统稳定性高、移植性强、易于扩充,本设计将无线传感器网络技术应用到农业生产中,提出了一种新型实用的方案。
