NORMAL FAMILIES AND SHARED VALUES OF HOLOMORPHIC FUNCTIONS

Let F be a family of holomorphic functions in a domain D, k be a positive integer, a, b（≠0）, c（≠0） and d be finite complex numbers. If, for each f∈F, all zeros of f-d have multiplicity at least k, f^（k） = a whenever f=0, and f=c whenever f^（k） = b, then F is normal in D. This result extends the well-known normality criterion of Miranda and improves some results due to Chen-Fang, Pang and Xu. Some examples are provided to show that our result is sharp.

We obtain some normality criteria of families of meromorphic functions sharing values related to Hayman conjecture, which improves some earlier related results.

Estimation of Reference Values for PFOS and PFOA in Human Biomonitoring and Relevance of Exposure among Family Members in China

The reference values of serum perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoate (PFOA) concentrations were evaluated based on the human blood samples collected from Kashi, Xinjiang. And human serum samples of family members from Liaoning were evaluated for levels of PFOS and PFOA with the purpose to compare exposure pathways for family members. Among the 110 blood specimens from Kashi, the detection frequency of PFOS and PFOA was 93% and 6%, respectively. Reference values of serum PFOS, evaluated as the 90th percentiles of the concentrations, were determined to be 6.44 μg/L. Significant positive correlations were observed for serum levels of PFOS and PFOA among family members in Liaoning. Specially, stronger correlation between mother and offspring was observed than that between father and offspring. And stronger correlation of serum PFOS and PFOA levels was observed among fam- ily members in rural areas than those in big and small-medium cities. Difference in the association of serum PFOS and PFOA level among family members suggested that exposure in the outdoor and working environment of different oc- cupations should be evaluated. Present study provides reference values for exposure assessment in China and potential pathways of human exposure to PFOS and PFOA.

If every function denoted by f belonging to F has only zeros with multiplicity at least k and satisfies f^m（z）f^（k）（Z）=α→ ｜^f（k）（z）｜ ≤B or f^m（z）f^（k）（z）=α→｜f（z）｜ ≥, then F is normal in D.

Familial and Territorial Values for Sustainable Entrepreneurship in Italy： Some Reflections in Theory and Practice]

This study reflects the specificities of family small- and medium-sized enterprises （SMEs） which are related to values, culture, and relationships with the territory （local context）. In the following sustainable and corporate social responsibility （CSR）-oriented strategies, family businesses are ＂assisted＂ by the presence of entrepreneurial values which are tied to and derived from the social system in the territory in which they are located. The aim of this study is to demonstrate that the consolidation of stable and durable relations between the family business and the local context depends on the presence of shared values between the members of the family and the stakeholders, all components of civil society are within the same territory. Such values are the fruit of a given territory＇s civic traditions. They are the result of an anthropological culture which is typical of the socioeconomic environment in which the entrepreneur, the family, and the business are all rooted, thus, they are expressions of a culture ＂of the place＂.

The Corruption and Collapse of the Old Southern Traditional Values in The Sound and the Fury

The Sound and the Fury is the novel which Faulkner spent the most effort and is the writer's favourite book. The title of this book is taken from Shakespeare's tragedy Macbeth, implying the multiple themes of the novel. One theme is to discuss the corruption and collapse of the old southern traditional values through the description of the Compson family's corruption and the decline of southern plantation economy. In the novel, Faulkner seeks the way out for American south during the transformation period though the figures he created, but no one is successful in getting out of the bad influence of the Old South.

Diagnostic value evaluation of trefoil factors family 3 for the early detection of colorectal cancer

AIM The purpose of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic value of trefoil factor family 3(TFF3) for the early detection of colorectal cancer(CC). METHODS Serum TFF3 and carcino-embryonic antigen(CEA) were detected in 527 individuals, including 115 healthy control(HC), 198 colorectal adenoma(CA), and 214 CC individuals in the training group. RESULTS Serum TFF3 showed no significant correlation with age, gender, or tumor location but showed significant correlation with the tumor stage. Serum TFF3 in the CC group was significantly higher than in the HC or CA group. The AUC values of TFF3 for discriminating between HC and CC and between CA and CC were 0.930(0.903, 0.958) and 0.834(0.796, 0.873). A multivariate model combining TFF3 and CEA was built. Compared to TFF3 or CEA alone, the multivariate model showed significant improvement(P < 0.001). For discriminating between HC and CC, HC and early stage CC, HC and advanced stage CC, CA and CC, CA and early stage CC, and CA and advanced stage CC in the training group, the sensitivities were 92.99%, 91.46%, 93.18%, 73.83%, 76.83%, and 81.82%, and the specificities were 91.30%, 91.30%, 93.91%, 88.38%, 77.27%, and 88.38%, respectively. After validation, the sensitivities were 89.39%, 85.71%, 90.79%, 72.73%, 71.43%, and 78.95%, and the specificities were 87.85%, 87.85%, 2.52%, 87.85%, 80.77%, and 87.50%, respectively. CONCLUSION The multivariate diagnostic model that included TFF3 and CEA showed significant improvement over the conventional biomarker CEA and might provide a potential method for the early detection of CC.

If for any f ∈F, the zeros of f are of multiplicity, f and f′ share a, then there exists a positive number M such that for any f∈F1（1-｜z｜^2） ｜f′（z）｜/1＋｜f（z）｜^2≤M.

Normal Criteria and Shared Values by Differential Polynomials

For a family of meromorphic functions on a domain D, it is discussed whether F is normal on D if for every pair functions f(z),g∈F , f'–afnand g'–agn share value d on D when n=2,3, where a, b are two complex numbers, a≠0,∞,b≠∞.Finally, the following result is obtained:Let F be a family of meromorphic functions in D, all of whose poles have multiplicity at least 4 , all of whose zeros have multiplicity at least 2. Suppose that there exist two functions a(z) not idendtically equal to zero, d(z) analytic in D, such that for each pair of functions f and in F , f'–a(z)f2 and g'–a(z)g2 share the function d(z) . If a(z) has only a multiple zeros and f(z)≠∞ whenever a(z)=0 , then F is normal in D.

On Concomitants of Record Values from Generalized Farlie-Gumbel-Morgenstem Distribution

In this paper, we derive the distributions of concomitants of record values from generalized Farlie-Gumbel-Morgenstern family of bivariate distributions. We derive the single and the product moments of the concomitants for the general case. The results are then applied to the ease of the two-parameter exponential marginal distributions. Using concomitants of record values we derive the best linear unbiased estimators of parameters of the marginal distributions. Moreover, two methods for obtaining predictors of concomitants of record values are presented. Finally, a numerical illustration is performed to highlight the theoretical results obtained.

Fixed Point of a Countable Family of Uniformly Totally Quasi- <i>&Oslash</i>-Asymptotically Nonexpansive Multi-Valued Mappings in Reflexive Banach Spaces with Applications

The purpose of this article is to discuss a modified Halpern-type iteration algorithm for a countable family of uniformly totally quasi- ? -asymptotically nonexpansive multi-valued mappings and establish some strong convergence theorems under certain conditions. We utilize the theorems to study a modified Halpern-type iterative algorithm for a system of equilibrium problems. The results improve and extend the corresponding results of Chang et al. (Applied Mathematics and Computation, 218, 6489-6497).

ON THE SINGULAR DIRECTIONS OF VALUE DISTRIBUTION OF HOLOMORPHIC CURVES IN P^n(C)

This article proves the existence of singular directions of value distribution theory for some transcendental holomorphic curves in the n-dimensional complex projective space P^n（C）.. An example is given to complement these results.
