Using IQA to Extract Mental Models Concerning Quality Evaluation Factors for Social Networking Services on Smartphones

Although today’s users of mobile phones are afforded increasing control as the popularity and richness of information provided by smartphones increases, how these users make choices and evaluations cannot be explicitly expressed. This study uses an acute observation of designers of technology and aesthetics to conduct a mental-model analysis of smartphones with the purpose of explicitly identifying the differences in the schemas of users. This study also modifies the mental model to evaluate the practicability of the mental model. Hence, this study investigates groups of subjects, comparing freshmen and graduating students froma college of design, and adopts a schematized data collection and analysis approach, Interactive Qualitative Analysis (IQA), to ascertain the relationships between factors and establish a complete user mental model. The study results present 11 primary affinity factors: “Pricing,” “Advertisement,” “User Interface,” “Innovation Functions,” “System Maintenance,” “Privacy,” “Utility Functions,” “Personalization,” “Network Performance,” “Customer Service,” and “Multimedia Contents.” The primary driver in evaluating smartphones is found to be “Pricing” for graduating students and “Privacy” for freshmen. The two groups share the same final effect factor, “Multimedia Contents.” This study has successfully identified differences between the different mental models of the two groups, supporting the method that using IQA to perform a quality evaluation of social networking for smartphones is effective. Consequently, platform developers can understand user demand through a mental model and can design good platform functions to effectively improve users’ experience of smartphones.

Community Discovery with Location-Interaction Disparity in Mobile Social Networks

With the fast-growth of mobile social network, people＇ s interactions are frequently marked with location information, such as longitude and latitude of visited base station. This boom of data has led to considerable interest in research fields such as user behavior mining, trajectory discovery and social demographics. However, there is little research on community discovery in mobile social networks, and this is the problem this work tackles with. In this work, we take advantage of one simple property that people in different locations often belong to different social circles in order to discover communities in these networks. Based on this property, which we referred to as Location-lnteraction Disparity （LID）, we proposed a state network and then define a quality function evaluating community detection results. We also propose a hybrid community- detection algorithm using LID tor discovering location-based communities effectively and efficiently. Experiments on synthesis networks show that this algorithm can run effectively in time and discover communities with high precision. In realworld networks, the method reveals people＇s different social circles in different places with high efficiency.

Design and implementation of user information sharing system using location-based services for social network services

Internet takes a role as a place for communication between people beyond a space simply for the acquisition of information.Recently,social network service(SNS)reflecting human’s basic desire for talking and communicating with others is focused on around the world.And location-based service(LBS)is a service that provides various life conveniences like improving productivity through location information,such as GPS and WiFi.This paper suggests an application combining LBS and SNS based on Android OS.By using smart phone which is personal mobile information equipment,it combines location information with user information and SNS so that the service can be developed.It also maximizes sharing and use of information via twit based on locations of friends.This proposed system is aims for users to show online identity more actively and more conveniently.

Enhanced Cloud Service Provisioning for Social Networks

In the era of cloud computing and social networks prosperity, new requirements rise up for cloud services that meet social network’s needs. Several cloud service providers deliver social network services for cloud services users. The aim of this paper is to develop a framework to pick the best cloud service providers from group of available providers based on many Quality-of-Service (“QoS”) criteria attributes in order to enhance efficiency, accuracy and service provisioning. This paper also aims to provide a classification for QoS criteria attributes, which is divided into five main attributes and sub-attributes, helping in enhancing ranking process in the provided framework.

Recommending Friends Instantly in Location-based Mobile Social Networks

Differently from the general online social network(OSN),locationbased mobile social network(LMSN),which seamlessly integrates mobile computing and social computing technologies,has unique characteristics of temporal,spatial and social correlation.Recommending friends instantly based on current location of users in the real world has become increasingly popular in LMSN.However,the existing friend recommendation methods based on topological structures of a social network or non-topological information such as similar user profiles cannot well address the instant making friends in the real world.In this article,we analyze users' check-in behavior in a real LMSN site named Gowalla.According to this analysis,we present an approach of recommending friends instantly for LMSN users by considering the real-time physical location proximity,offline behavior similarity and friendship network information in the virtual community simultaneously.This approach effectively bridges the gap between the offline behavior of users in the real world and online friendship network information in the virtual community.Finally,we use the real user check-in dataset of Gowalla to verify the effectiveness of our approach.

SNS model for providing social network channels through queries

Users can obtain the information through a basic web searching and find the answer to the questions directly,but maybe the expected answer does not exist.Besides,we do not know the update of new information in time.The online social networking services spread quickly and store many user data,but these data are worth less and may be unreliable answer to users’ questions.Users can obtain the simple answer but can not expect more additional information in knowledge question-answering(QA)system.In this paper,we design the system with the advantages of knowledge QA system,web searching and characteristics of social networking service for providing social network channel based on the query and answer without users’ contact network.The user can obtain real-time answers by the user network interested in users’ querires through the network channel of this system,get the additional information effectively and share it with others in the social network channel in this system.

Social Networks and Their Role in Current Medicine: An Indispensable Tool for Doctors

Social networks have had a substantial impact on the current methods of professional development and practice within the health services industry. They have proven to have a wide range of suitable applications that facilitate communication, training, and medical practice. Currently, there are many web systems that allow people to have a public or semi-public profile, allowing the creation of shared connections with a list of users within the same system, which may vary in nature and terminology depending on the site in which it is used, shaping the concept of the social network. The purpose of this review is to highlight the usefulness of social media networks in academic medicine and its impact on health services.

Socialization, Traffic Distribution and E-Commerce Trends:An Interpretation of the “Pinduoduo” Phenomenon

The article takes China’s e-commerce as the research object.Starting from the macro level of e-commerce development and taking the rapid rise of“Pinduoduo”as an example,it discusses the“traffic dilemma”and its influence in the traditional e-commerce platform.This discovers the internal mechanism of mobile e-commerce to solve the problem of traffic distribution mechanism by socialization.After that,this study compares the difference between traditional e-commerce and social-commerce systematically,and concludes that traditional e-commerce platform is a necessary process of the development of social-commerce.Socialization is an important trend of the development of traditional e-commerce and social-commerce will promote the realization of C2B model.

Roles of mutual help of local community networks in community health activities: Improvement for the quality of life of older people in Thailand

Objectives: This study aimed to describe work and activities of community networks focusing on the improvement of the quality of life (QOL) of older people in Thailand.The understanding of the work can help enhancing the community development and strengthening of local communities and their networks.Methods: Qualitative methods including in-depth interview,observation,and focus group discussion were employed to the study.64 participants participated to the study and were recruited from 4 key actors within the community.Content analysis was used to analyze the obtained data.This study was conducted in 6 local administrative organizations (LAOs) which selected from the outstanding areas of the project.Each LAO represents one sub-district of the regions of Thailand namely;(1) the upper north,(2) the lower north,(3)the upper eastern,(4) the lower eastern,(5) the central and (6) the south.Results: The findings of this study were categorized into three main themes: (1) Social capital including people in the community,social groups,and organizations,(2) Mutual help/collaboration activities composed of six sets of activities related to social capitals working on the improvement of QOL of older people,and (3) Impacts of the mutual help/collaboration activities on older people and local communities who help to improve of QOL of older people.Conclusion: The findings are important features for the community development.These themes should be recommended for community nurses,health related groups and organizations for the improvement of QOL of older people in the community.

Modeling and Predicting of News Popularity in Social Media Sources

The popularity of news,which conveys newsworthy events which occur during day to people,is substantially important for the spectator or audience.People interact with news website and share news links or their opinions.This study uses supervised learning based machine learning techniques in order to predict news popularity in social media sources.These techniques consist of basically two phrases:a)the training data is sent as input to the classifier algorithm,b)the performance of prelearned algorithm is tested on the testing data.And so,a knowledge discovery from the data is performed.In this context,firstly,twelve datasets from a set of data are obtained within the frame of four categories:Economic,Microsoft,Obama and Palestine.Second,news popularity prediction in social network services is carried out by utilizing Gradient Boosted Trees,Multi-Layer Perceptron and Random Forest learning algorithms.The prediction performances of all algorithms are examined by considering Mean Absolute Error,Root Mean Squared Error and the R-squared evaluation metrics.The results show that most of the models designed by using these algorithms are proved to be applicable for this subject.Consequently,a comprehensive study for the news prediction is presented,using different techniques,drawing conclusions about the performances of algorithms in this study.

The Impact of Urban Renewal on Public Service Facilities in Shenzhen during Inventory Development Stage:An Empirical Analysis of Futian District

As the material carrier of social service industry,public service facilities are important indicators to measure human settlement.With the continuous deepening of inventory development practice,urban renewal has gradually become one of the sources of supply of public service facilities.Focusing on the urban renewal activities of Futian District,Shenzhen from 2010 to 2016,the study conducts an empirical study on the pattern of public service facility networks before and after urban renewal through social network analysis.The fi ndings show that:①on the whole,the public service system in Futian District has been effectively improved during urban renewal development;②the impact of urban renewal on public service system is characterized by differentiation,among which industrial and commercial facilities have been signifi cantly improved,while educational and medical facilities have been hardly improved;③urban renewal has a clear policy orientation as an institutional means,and promoting economic restructuring and industrial reorganization is still the primary purpose of urban renewal during inventory development stage.

服务创新网络中企业社会资本如何影响创新绩效——知识流耦合与知识共创的链式中介作用

基于社会网络理论与知识基础观,构建“企业社会资本—知识流耦合—知识共创—服务创新绩效”的链式中介模型,运用层次回归分析法对405份企业样本进行分析。研究发现:结构性、认知性、关系性社会资本均对服务创新绩效有显著正向影响,且影响程度依次减弱;知识流耦合、知识共创在企业社会资本与服务创新绩效之间起链式中介作用。研究可进一步夯实创新网络、社会资本理论基础,揭示企业社会资本通过知识作用路径影响服务创新绩效的内在机制,为服务企业提高创新绩效提供参考。

理工类双一流院校新文科的社会服务特征研究

“六卓越一拔尖”计划2.0的正式实施带来了理工类双一流院校新文科的蓬勃发展。文章运用复杂网络分析方法刻画出理工类双一流院校新文科社会服务体系的特征,并通过典型案例提出了未来发展趋势,为推动理工类双一流院校新文科的全面发展提供重要依据。研究发现,当前我国理工类双一流院校的新文科社会服务体系规模大、涉及单位广,但网络密度低、网络关系较松散;区域上集中于经济政治、社会科教发达地区,跨区域交流不足;理工类高校新文科的交叉背景在服务行业广度方面展示出独特的优势。建议高校应积极提升服务水平,企业要发挥自身主体作用,政府应全力提供政策支持,三者合力共同推动高校社会服务质量的提高。

A Trustworthy Group Identifying Trust Metric for P2P Service Sharing Economy Based on Personal Social Network of Users

With the quick growth of sharing economy, service sharing becomes a popular phenomenon in daily lives. However, some service providers give exaggerated information about their services on the Peer-to-Peer（P2 P） service sharing platforms to get more profits. How to identify a reliable service provider becomes a difficult challenge for users. In this paper, we propose a trustworthy group trust metric for P2 P service sharing（TMPSS） economy based on personal social network（PSN） of users. Deriving from Advogato group trust metric, it considers factors such as social circle similarity, preference similarity, interaction degree, ranks the reliable nodes in a target user＇s PSN, outputs an ordered set of reliable nodes, and prevents unreliable nodes from access PSN of honest users. Experimental results show that TMPSS has advantages over existing representative methods because it finds more reliable nodes, and counts against malicious nodes＇ attacks more effectively, and it is suitable for mobile transaction circumstances.

以新浪微博为例的社交网络服务质量改进

随着社交网络的不断发展与流行,社交网络的服务质量以及经营成效成为了运营商赢得市场竞争优势的关键,研究社交网络服务质量改进有利于提升运营商的市场竞争力。在理论与现有文献研究基础上开发了社交网络服务质量量表,以中国的社交网络新浪微博为例,基于开发的量表结合KANO模型及IPA分析方法探讨新浪微博网络服务质量的特性以及服务质量提升建议,并根据企业当前的绩效和融入战略之后的改进策略进行对比分析。实证分析表明,新浪微博网络服务质量具有二维质量的属性,而且考虑企业战略有助于管理者做出更完善的质量改善决策。

城市绿地游憩服务网络特征及不同出行模式的响应差异

【目的】随着经济社会的快速发展,城市居民亲近自然的游憩需求显著增长。在城市尺度提升绿地的蓝色和绿色游憩服务效率成为当前亟须解决的问题。【方法】以武汉市为研究区域,通过提取居民游憩出行的最短路径,利用社会网络分析软件Ucinet 6.0分别构建步行、骑行和驾车3种出行模式下的5 min、10 min和15 min城市绿地的游憩服务网络,并分析网络的整体特征、节点功能和节点类型,进而探究这些特征在不同出行模式下的响应差异。【结果】当出行时长为5 min时,骑行和驾车模式能够组织超过85%的城市绿地节点协同联系形成游憩服务网络,而步行模式下游憩服务则呈零星局部组团分布。随着出行时长的增加,3种出行模式下游憩服务网络的核心集聚功能节点占比呈上升趋势,且节点类型主要以绿色游憩服务为主。骑行和驾车模式下的边缘汇聚功能节点占比则随出行时长增加而逐渐下降,但其蓝色游憩服务型核心集聚节点的占比则逐渐上升。【结论】城市绿地游憩服务网络效率的整体提升须系统考虑不同出行模式下居民的游憩需求,并协同整合蓝色和绿色游憩空间。这些发现可以为城市绿地游憩体系的构建和完善,以及游憩资源的系统整合提供直接支持。

面向加密流量的社交软件用户行为识别

随着智能终端和社交网络越来越融入人们的日常生活,针对社交软件的用户行为识别在网络管理、网络环境监管和市场调研等方面发挥越来越重要的作用.社交软件普遍使用端到端加密协议进行加密数据传输,现有方法通常提取加密数据的统计特征进行行为识别.但这些方法识别的性能不稳定且需要的数据量多,这些缺点影响了方法的实用性.提出了一种面向加密流量的社交软件用户行为识别方法.首先,从加密流量中识别出稳定的控制流数据,并提取控制服务数据分组负载长度序列.然后设计了2种神经网络模型,用于自动从控制流负载长度序列中提取特征,细粒度地识别用户行为.最后,以WhatsApp为例进行了实验,2种神经网络模型对WhatsApp用户行为的识别精准率、召回率和F1-score均超过96%.与类似工作的实验比较证明了该方法识别性能的稳定性,此外,该方法能够通过很少的控制流数据分组达到较高的识别精准率,对实时行为识别的研究具有重要的现实意义.
