Effective data communication is a crucial aspect of the Social Internet of Things(SIoT)and continues to be a significant research focus.This paper proposes a data forwarding algorithm based on Multidimensional Social Relations(MSRR)in SIoT to solve this problem.The proposed algorithm separates message forwarding into intra-and cross-community forwarding by analyzing interest traits and social connections among nodes.Three new metrics are defined:the intensity of node social relationships,node activity,and community connectivity.Within the community,messages are sent by determining which node is most similar to the sender by weighing the strength of social connections and node activity.When a node performs cross-community forwarding,the message is forwarded to the most reasonable relay community by measuring the node activity and the connection between communities.The proposed algorithm was compared to three existing routing algorithms in simulation experiments.Results indicate that the proposed algorithmsubstantially improves message delivery efficiency while lessening network overhead and enhancing connectivity and coordination in the SIoT context. 展开更多

Based on whether there is social relation between independent directors and CEOs,there are two types of independence in the board of directors:nominal independence and real independence.Their influences on the fluctuations of corporate performance are varied.First,the board independence will strengthen supervision and reduce the fluctuations in corporate performance.Second,the nominal board independence will reduce performance fluctuations but with inadequate significance;however,the real independence significantly reduces fluctuations of corporate performance;social relations between CEO and independent directors will encourage fluctuations of corporate performance.This also confirms that the independent directors can reduce the corporate performance instead of just holding the post and doing nothing.At the same time,in order to improve the real board independence,when recruiting independent directors,those gray directors who have social relations with CEO must be identified and excluded. 展开更多

Purpose:This study examined the correlation between social relational quality and hope among patients with permanent colostomies.Methods:Eighty-six eligible patients with permanent colostomies were recruited from a Class A tertiary hospital from July to December 2012.A self-designed demographic questionnaire,the Social Relational Quality Scale(SRQS),and the Herth Hope Index(HHI)were administered to all patients.Results:The total social relationship quality and hope scores were 49.42±4.98 and 38.52±4.64,respectively.The total scale score and composing subscale scores for social relationship quality and hope showed a statistically significant positive correlation with each other(r?0.324e0.680;p<0.01).Conclusions:A positive correlation exists between social relational quality and hope among patients with permanent colostomies.This finding suggests that such patients should be given hope and that their families should be encouraged to provide more support for better acceptance and adjustment. 展开更多
