The results showed that the extracts had strong UVA and UVB absorption ability and hydroxyl free radical scavenging ability. The S. japonica L. polysaccharide showed strong anti-UVB irradiation ability according to the cell viability experiment. It suggests that the H. cordata flavonoid and S. japonica L. polysaccharide could be combined as a candidate of anti-UV sun-screening supplement and compensate for the shortcomings of chemical sunscreens against UVA ray.展开更多

METHODS Solvent extraction and column chromatography were used. IR, MS, 1HNMR and 13 CNMR spectra were applied for structural elucidation. RESULTS Eight compounds were isolated and identified as genistein(1), sophoraricoside (2), sissotrin(3), sophorabioside(4), kaempferol-7-O-α-L-rhamnoside(5), rutin(6), isoscutellarein(7), and gallic acid(8). CONCLUSION Among them, compounds 3,5,7 and 8 were isolated from this plant for the first time.展开更多
