Almost Fixed Points and Fixed Points of Upper [Lower] Semicontinuous Multimap on Locally G-convex Spaces

In this paper, we use the well known KKM type theorem for generalized convex spaces due to Park （Elements of the KKM theory for generalized convex spaces, Korean J. Comp. Appl. Math., 7（2000）, 1-28） to obtain an almost fixed point theorem for upper [resp., lower] semicontinuous multimaps in locally G-convex spaces, and then give a fixed point theorem for upper semicontinuous multimap with closed Γ-convex values.

Directional Analysis of the Chaotic Superlattice around the Equilibrium Point in the Phase Space

The recently proposed method of our research group named as directional Lyapunov exponents（DLEs） is presented. Then, DLEs are used to analyze the eigenstructure of the output phase space around the equilibrium points. Finally, the impacts of the superlattice parameter changes on the characteristics of the output chaotic signal are analyzed. The experimental results show that parameter changes of the superlattice will affect the eigenstructure around the equilibrium points in the output phase space, and DLEs are sensitive to these changes.

Study of Fixed Point Theorems for Higher Dimension in Partially Ordered Metric Spaces

In this paper, we establish the existence and uniqueness of fixed points of operator , when n is an arbitrary positive integer and X is a partially ordered complete metric space. We have shown examples to verify our work. Our results generalize the recent fixed point theorems cited in [1]-[4] etc. and include several recent developments.

FIXED POINT THEOREM OF NONEXPANSIVE MAPPINGS IN CONVEX METRIC SPACES

Let X be a convex metric space with the property that every decreasing sequence of nonenply dosed subsets of X with diameters tending to has menemptyintersection. This paper proved that if T is a mapping of a elosed conver nonempty subset K of X into itself satisfying the inequality:for all x,y in K,where then T has a unique fixed point in K.

Development of Geological Data Warehouse

Data warehouse (DW), a new technology invented in 1990s, is more useful for integrating and analyzing massive data than traditional database. Its application in geology field can be divided into 3 phrases: 1992-1996, commercial data warehouse (CDW) appeared; 1996-1999, geological data warehouse (GDW) appeared and the geologists or geographers realized the importance of DW and began the studies on it, but the practical DW still followed the framework of DB; 2000 to present, geological data warehouse grows, and the theory of geo-spatial data warehouse (GSDW) has been developed but the research in geological area is still deficient except that in geography. Although some developments of GDW have been made, its core still follows the CDW-organizing data by time and brings about 3 problems: difficult to integrate the geological data, for the data feature more space than time; hard to store the massive data in different levels due to the same reason; hardly support the spatial analysis if the data are organized by time as CDW does. So the GDW should be redesigned by organizing data by scale in order to store mass data in different levels and synthesize the data in different granularities, and choosing space control points to replace the former time control points so as to integrate different types of data by the method of storing one type data as one layer and then to superpose the layers. In addition, data cube, a wide used technology in CDW, will be no use in GDW, for the causality among the geological data is not so obvious as commercial data, as the data are the mixed result of many complex rules, and their analysis always needs the special geological methods and software; on the other hand, data cube for mass and complex geo-data will devour too much store space to be practical. On this point, the main purpose of GDW may be fit for data integration unlike CDW for data analysis.

A Fixed Point Approach to the Fuzzy Stability of a Mixed Type Functional Equation

Through the paper, a general solution of a mixed type functional equation in fuzzy Banach space is obtained and by using the fixed point method a generalized Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of the mixed type functional equation in fuzzy Banach space is proved.

Image motion and experimental study of a 0.1″space pointing measuring instrument for micro-vibration conditions

There exists an increasing need for Milli-Arc-Seconds(MAS)accuracy pointing measurement for current and future space systems.To meet the 0.1″space pointing measurement accuracy requirements of spacecraft in future,the influence of spacecraft micro-vibration on a 0.1″Space Pointing Measuring Instrument(SPMI)is studied.A Quasi-Zero Stiffness Device(QZSD)with adaptive adjustment and variable stroke was proposed.Then,a series of micro-vibration experiments of the SPMI were carried out.The influence of the micro-vibration generated by Guidance Navigation Control(GNC)attitude control components under different attitudes on the SPMI was analyzed.Point spread function of image motion in micro-vibration was also derived.Further,the changes of image motion under the micro-vibration environment were evaluated by extracting the gray centroid of the images,and the experiment processes and results are deeply discussed.The results show that the firstorder frequency of the QZSD system is 0.114 Hz,and it is induced by a double pendulum system;the image motion of single flywheel spinning reached 0.015 pixels;whilst the image motion reached 0.03 pixels when three flywheels are combined spinning.These latest findings provide a beneficial theoretical and technical support for the development of spacecraft with 0·1″pointing accuracy.

A Class of Ruin Probability Model with Dependent Structure

Fixed point and common fixed point results for mappings satisfying quasicontractive conditions expressed in the terms of c-distance on TVS-valued cone metric spaces（without the underlying cone which is not normal） are obtained, and P-property and Q-property for mappings in the terms of c-distance are discussed. Our results generalize and improve many known results.

Points of Coincidence for Weakly Compatible Pair of Mappings in Cone Metric Spaces

In this paper, some new existence and uniqueness of points of coincidence of weakly compatible pair of mappings is obtained, which does not satisfy continuity and commutativity. The conditions are weaker than the usual conditions in cone metric spaces.

EKELAND'S VARIATIONAL PRINCIPLE AND CARISTI'S FIXED POINT THEOREM IN PROBABILISTIC METRIC SPACE

The main purpose of this paper is to establish the Ekeland’s variational principle andCaristi’s fixed point theorem in probabilistic metric spaces and to give a direct simple proofof the equivalence between these two theorems in the probabilistic metric space. The resultspresented in this paper generalize the corresponding results of [9--12].

Asymptotically Isometric Copy of l~β(0<β<1) in Spacesof Bounded Linear Operators

Assume X is a normed space,every x ＊ ∈ S（X＊） can reach its norm at some point in B（X）,and Y is a β-normed space.If there is a quotient space of Y which is asymptotically isometric to l β,then L（X,Y） contains an asymptotically isometric copy of l β.Some sufficient conditions are given under which L（X,Y） fails to have the fixed point property for nonexpansive mappings on closed bounded β-convex subsets of L（X,Y）.
