In this paper, a new space and time signal model based on multipath distribution function is given after new space and time manifold is reconstructed. Then joint spacetime signal subspace is obtained by converting acquired channel from time domain to frequency domain .Then space and time spectrum is formulated by the space sub-matrix and time sub-matrix taken out of joint space-time signal subspace, and parameters are estimated by searching the minimum eigenvalues of the space matrix and the time matrix. Lastly, A space and time parameters matching process is performed by using the orthogonal property between joint noise subspace and the space-time manifold. In contrast with tradition MUSIC, the algorithm we present here only need two 1- dimension searching and was not sensitive to different distribution function.展开更多

These data sets have time and spatial resolutions of 1 h and 0.313°x0.312°, respectively. The efficiency of the analysis was evaluated by processing weather buoy data from the Pacific Ocean and measuring propagation loss in the Yellow Sea of China. The distribution features of evaporation duct height (EDH) and the related meteorological factors for different seas were analyzed. The global EDH is generally high and demonstrates a latitudinal distribution for oceans at low latitudes. The average EDH is approximately 11 m over oceans beside the equator with a latitude of less than 20°. The reasons for the formation of the global EDH features were also analyzed for different sea areas.展开更多

In this paper, based on the WCP source which can be used for the passive decoy-state method, we obtain the expressions of single-photon error rates, single-photon counts, and phase error rates. According to the information of smooth min-entropy, we calculate the key generation rate under the condition of finite-length key. We also simulate the passive decoy-state method with different probabilities of choosing a pulse for parameter estimation when the number of pulses is fixed.展开更多

It is also affected by the imperfections of the devices. In this paper, the influence of modulator attenuation on the passive decoy-state method is considered. We introduce and analyze the unbalanced Mach-Zehnder interferometer, briefly, and combining with the virtual source and imaginary unitary transformation, we characterize the passive decoy-state method using a weak coherent photon source with modulator attenuation. According to the attenuation parameter 6, the pass efficiencies are given. Then, the key generation rate can be acquired. From numerical simulations, it can be seen that modulator attenuation has a non- negligible influence on the performance of passive-state QKD protocol. It has been widely believed that, except in very extreme situations, the influence of acceleration on quantum fields should amount to just small, sub-dominant contributions. Here we argue that this belief is wrong by showing that in a Rindler distributional background space-time with distributional Levi-Cività connection the vacuum energy of free quantum fields is forced, by the very same background distributional space-time such a Rindler distributional background space-time, to become dominant over any classical energy density component. This semiclassical gravity effect finds its roots in the singular behavior of quantum fields on a Rindler distributional space-times with distributional Levi-Cività connection. In particular we obtain that the vacuum fluctuations have a singular behavior at a Rindler horizon . Therefore sufficiently strongly accelerated observer burns up near the Rindler horizon. Thus Polchinski’s account doesn’t violate the Einstein equivalence principle.展开更多

Then the relation between the system BER and the interuser BER for WCDDSTBC scheme is theoretically derived and the closed-form expression of BER for WCD-DSTBC system is obtained. The simulation results show that the proposed WCD-DSTBC scheme achieves distinct gains over the non-cooperative multi-carrier CDMA (MC-CDMA) system. When system BER is le-3 and interuser BER is le-3, about 2.5 dB gain can be gotten. When interuser channel state information (CSI) outgoes the users' individual CSI, about 3 dB gain is also achieved.展开更多

Using classical wave theory, articles reported before show that the visibility of this kind of HOM-type interference is 〈 50%. In this work, we analyze this kind of interference using quantum optics, which reveals more details compared to the wave theory. Analyses confirm the maximum visibility of 50%. And we conclude that the maximum visibility of 50% comes from the two single-photon states in WCPs, without considering the noise. In the experiment, we successfully approach the visibility of 50% by using WCPs splitting from the single pico-second laser source and phase scanning. Since this kind of HOM interference is immune to slow phase fluctuations, both the realized and proposed experiment designs can provide stable ways of high-resolution optical distance detection.展开更多

The normalization factor of GPACS is related to Hermite polynomial. We also derive the explicit expressions of its statistical properties such as photocount distribution, Wigner function and tomogram and investigate their behaviour as the photon-added number varies graphically. It is found that GPACS is a kind of nonclassical state since Wigner function exhibits the negativity by increasing the photon-added number.展开更多

On the basis of this fact, the probability density functions(PDFs) of the intensity as well as the phase, the real and the imaginary parts of the sea echoes obtained by the marine radar have been derived, and the theoretical models are all expressed in closed forms. In order to validate the theoretical results, the PDFs are compared with the experimental data collected by the Mc Master IPIX radar. And the comparisons show that the PDF models are in good agreement with the experimental data.展开更多

Photoionization from a superposition state of the ground 1sσg and the excited 2pσu states with pulses at photon energies above the ionization potential, hω〉Ip, and intensity 10^14 W/cm^2, yields pulse duration dependent asymmetry of photoelectron angular distributions. We attribute the asymmetry to the periodical oscillation of the coherent electron wave packets, resulting from the interference of the two electronic states. For the processes with long pulse durations, such duration dependence is absent and symmetric angular distributions are obtained.展开更多

文摘An improved scheme with cooperative diversity based on distributed space-time block coding (WCD- DSTBC) is proposed, which effectively achieves diversity gains and improves the performance of the system by sharing some single-antenna users' antennas to form a virtual antenna array and combining with distributed spacetime block coding (DSTBC) mode. When interuser channel state information (CSI) outgoes the users' individual CSI, about 3 dB gain is also achieved.

文摘Recently, the Hong-Ou-Mandel (HOM) interference between two independent weak coherent pulses (WCPs) has been paid much attention due to the measurement-device-independent (MDI) quantum key distribution (QKD). Since this kind of HOM interference is immune to slow phase fluctuations, both the realized and proposed experiment designs can provide stable ways of high-resolution optical distance detection.

文摘In this paper, we propose a class of the generalized photon-added coherent states (GPACSs) obtained by repeatedly operating the combination of Bosonie creation and annihilation operatoes on the coherent state. The normalization factor of GPACS is related to Hermite polynomial. We also derive the explicit expressions of its statistical properties such as photocount distribution, Wigner function and tomogram and investigate their behaviour as the photon-added number varies graphically. It is found that GPACS is a kind of nonclassical state since Wigner function exhibits the negativity by increasing the photon-added number.

文摘Although the complex Wishart distribution has been widely used to analyze the statistic properties of quad-pol SAR spatial data, the applicability of this complex distribution to the time series of sea clutter is rarely discussed. The measured data of the quad-pol X-band marine radar demonstrate that the time series of the sea echoes are also satisfied the circular Gaussian distributions if the low intensity signals, which are mainly dominated by a radar noise, in the shadow regions of the large-scale waves are removed. And the comparisons show that the PDF models are in good agreement with the experimental data.

文摘We present photoelectron angular distribution of the aligned molecular ion H2^+ by intense ultrashort attosecond extreme ultraviolet laser pulses from numerical solutions of timedependent Schrodinger equations. For the processes with long pulse durations, such duration dependence is absent and symmetric angular distributions are obtained.
