The structure is composed of periodic spindle-shaped plumbum inclusions in a rubber matrix which forms a square lattice. The dispersion relation, transmission spectrum and displacement field are studied using the finite element method in conjunction with the Bloch theorem. Numerical results show that the present PC structure can achieve a large complete bandgap in a relatively low frequency range compared with two inclusions of different materials, which is useful in low-frequency noise and vibration control and can be designed as a low frequency acoustic filter and waveguides. Moreover, the transmission spectrum and effective mass are evaluated to validate the obtained band structure. It is interesting to see that within the band gap the effective mass becomes negative, resulting in an imaginary wave speed and wave exponential attenuation. Finally, sensitivity analysis of the effect of geometrical parameters of the presented PC structure on the lowest bandgap is performed to investigate the variations of the bandgap width and frequency.展开更多

The results showed that the 4-year-old‘Huangguan'pear trees grafted with the dwarfing inter stock‘ Zhong ai 1 hao'were 2. 87 m high on average, with 70. 70% of short braches, converted into 21 016. 0 branches per 667 m^2,840. 64 m^2 of leaf area per 667 m^2 with the leaf area coefficient of 1. 75.On the other hand, for the‘Huangguan'trees grafted with vigorous stocks, the average tree height was 3. 17 m,and the short branch proportion was 63. 20%,converted into 15 806. 4 branches per 667 m^2,719. 28 m^2 of leaf area per 667 m^2 with the leaf area coefficient of 1. 55. Therefore, the use of dwarfing inter stock‘Zhong ai 1 hao'had significant dwarfing effect on‘Huangguan'pear trees, which also showed significant yield increasing effect.展开更多

We report the results of simple oncoplastic surgery for Japanese patients with early breast cancer in the upper quadrant area. Methods: In seven patients with a past history of breast-feeding and ptotic breasts, we performed oncoplastic surgery involving partial mastectomy and the resection of excess skin and parenchymal tissue. Results: None of the patients received a contralateral operation to produce symmetrical breasts. The width of the resected excess skin tissue ranged from 20 to 50 mm, with the mean width being 30 mm, and its length ranged from 50 to 90, with the mean length being 77 mm. The width of the resected gland tissue ranged from 40 to 65 mm, with the mean width being 53 mm, and its length ranged from 70 to 100 mm, with the mean length being 97 mm. The cosmetic results were excellent. Conclusions: Oncoplastic surgery using spindle shaped-resection was successfully performed in patients with upper quadrant lesions, and the cosmetic results were excellent.展开更多
