Populus euphratica, a dominant tree species along the Tarim River watershed, plays an irreplaceable role in the sustainable development of regional ecology, economy and society. However, as the result of climate changes and human activities, the natural riparian ecosystems within the whole river basin were degraded enormously, particularly in the lower reaches of the river where about 320 km of the riparian forests were either highly degraded or dead. In this study, we presented one of the main criteria for the assessment of vitality of P. euphrafica forests by estimating the defoliation level, and analyzed forest structure and determined the height-diameter (height means the height of a tree and diameter means the diameter at breast height (DBH) of a tree) relationship of trees in different vitality classes (i.e. healthy, good, medium, senesced, dying, dead and fallen). Trees classified as healthy and good ac- counted for approximately 40% of all sample trees, while slightly and highly degraded trees took up nearly 60% of total sample trees. The values of TH (tree height) and DBH ranged from 0-19 m and 0-125 cm, respectively. Trees more than 15 m in TH and 60 cm in DBH appeared sporadically. Trees in different vitality classes had different distribution patterns. Healthy trees were mainly composed more of relatively younger trees than of degraded tress. The height-diameter relationships differed greatly among tress in different vitality classes, with the coefficients ranging from 0.1653 to 0.6942. Correlation coefficients of TH and DBH in healthy and good trees were higher than those in trees of other vitality classes. The correlation between TH and DBH decreased with the decline of tree vitality. Our results suggested that it might be able to differentiate degraded P. euphratica trees from healthy trees by determining the height-diameter correlation coefficient, and the coefficient would be a new parameter for detecting degradation and assessing sustainable management of floodplain forests in arid regions. In addition, tree vitality should be taken into account to make an accurate height-diameter model for tree height prediction.展开更多

Under suitable conditions on the growth of the nonlinear terms, we first establish the existence of standing waves of the SchrSdinger system by solving a L2-normalized minimization problem, then prove that the set of all minimizers of this minimization problem is stable. Finally, we obtain the least energy solutions by the Nehari method and prove that the orbit sets of these least energy solutions are unstable, which generalizes the results of [11] where b1 = b2 = 2.展开更多

Stands damaged by D.Superans seriously, intermediately and lightly show patch shape distribution within damaged area. By ordination analysis and correlation analysis between ordination factors and coordinate axis. It was found that occurrence of D. The tended young pure forests grown on the sunward slopes are most seriously damaged and non-tended middle-age mixing stands grown on the sunless slopes are most lightly damaged. Therefore, in order to prevent D.superans from seriously damaging larch forests. relatively large crown density (P>0. 7) should be kept, and broadleaftrees should be also properly preserved.展开更多

The developed ANFIS works as an inverse model to the system (functional electrical stimulation (FES)-induced quadriceps-lower leg system), while there is a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller in the feedback control. They were designated as ANFIS-PID controller. To evaluate the ANFIS-PID controller, two controllers were developed: open loop and feedback controllers. 文摘This paper presents the development of an innovative standing support for underground mines. The main feature of this standing support is its exterior container,a combination of polyvinyl chloride(PVC)with large rupture strain and fibre-reinforced polymer(FRP)with high strength-to-weight ratio. To demonstrate the advantages of this cementitious grout filled PVC-FRP tubular(PFT)standing support,a series of compression tests were conducted.Test variables included the strength of cementitious grout infill material and the thickness of FRP jacket.Compression tests were also conducted on cementitious grout-filled PVC tubular(PT)support and cementitious grout-filled FRP tubular(FT)support. These tests showed that PFT support presents a typical strain-hardening behaviour together with an outstanding axial deformation ability(>20%of the overall height of the support). In addition, the maximum compressive strength of PFT support is much higher than that of the corresponding PT support and FT support.Furthermore, using thicker FRP jacket or high strength cementitious grout material can enhance the load carrying capacity of PFT support. These comparative results indicated that the high performance of PFT support is mainly attributed to the combination of confining constituents(i.e.PVC and FRP)and infill material.

文摘We study the existence and stability of the standing waves of two coupled SchrSdinger equations with potentials |x|bi(bi ∈ R,i = 1, 2). Under suitable conditions on the growth of the nonlinear terms, we first establish the existence of standing waves of the SchrSdinger system by solving a L2-normalized minimization problem, then prove that the set of all minimizers of this minimization problem is stable. Finally, we obtain the least energy solutions by the Nehari method and prove that the orbit sets of these least energy solutions are unstable, which generalizes the results of [11] where b1 = b2 = 2.

文摘Vertically standing graphene(VSG) sheets have been fabricated by using plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition(PECVD) method. The lateral size of VSG nanosheets could be well controlled by varying the substrate temperature. The higher temperature usually gives rise to a smaller sheet size. The wettability of VSG films was tuned between hydrophobicity and hydrophilicity by means of oxygen and hydrogen plasma treatment. The supercapacitor electrode made of VSG sheets exhibited an ideal double-layer-capacitor feature and the specific capacitance reached a value up to 9.62 F·m^(-2).

文摘This paper proposes a novel standing assistance robot, which realizes voluntary movements of the patient within a safety motion range. In the previous studies, conventional assistive robots did not require patients to use their own physical strength to stand, which led to decreased strength in the elderly.Such general assistive robots helped patients by using a fixed motion reference pathway in spite of their original intention, and as a result, these robots failed to use the physical strength of the patients. Therefore, this study proposes a novel method for assisting the patient to stand up safely while using their physical abilities,by determining the range of movements that can be safely performed from the patient’s physical condition and allowing the patient to move freely within this range. The standing motion is a set of different movements:inclining the trunk forward, lifting the trunk, and extending the trunk. In this study, the range of movements in which the patient can safely stand in each movement is determined in terms of body stability and the muscle output that the patient can generate.Furthermore, this study proposes a robot control method that allows movements based on the patient’s free will if the patient’s posture is within the safety tolerance, and it corrects the movements when the patient’s posture is estimated to fall outside of it.The proposed idea is implemented in our new prototype, and its effectiveness is verified by experimental results with elderly subjects who live in the nursing care house.
文摘Dendrolimus superans (Butler) occurred in the vast areas of Daxing'an Mountains forest. in Heilongjiang Province, in 1990. Stands damaged by D.Superans seriously, intermediately and lightly show patch shape distribution within damaged area. By ordination analysis and correlation analysis between ordination factors and coordinate axis. It was found that occurrence of D. Superans in different extent is owing to the effect of forest age. composition and exposure. The tended young pure forests grown on the sunward slopes are most seriously damaged and non-tended middle-age mixing stands grown on the sunless slopes are most lightly damaged. Therefore, in order to prevent D.superans from seriously damaging larch forests. relatively large crown density (P>0. 7) should be kept, and broadleaftrees should be also properly preserved.
文摘Adaptive Neuro-fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) controller was designed to control knee joint during sit to stand movement through electrical stimuli to quadriceps muscles. The results showed that ANFIS-PID controller not only succeeded in controlling knee joint motion during sit to stand movement, but also reduced the deviations between desired trajectory and actual knee movement to ±5°. Promising simulation results provide the potential for feasible clinical application in the future.
