Analysis of Muscle Strength Measurement on Chinese Young Males

The study sampled data of 843 Chinese young males all over the country. Back force, hand twisting force and arm force of four different exerting directions (pull, push, adduction and abduction) were measured. Comparisons are made between the results of this study and those from other documents. Different types strength were also compared. The factors of stature and weight influenced on muscle force were analyzed. There are obvious differences of arm strength in four directions and it can be ordered as push, pull, adduction and abduction, the push force is the largest and the abduction force is the least. The significant correlation exists between different types force. Weight has an obvious influence on one's force among above three factors. The database of Chinese young males is established for the first time. Results of the study can provide help for ergonomist, the worker of occupation health and the researcher of rehabilitation. 展开更多

Exploring the impact of weak measurements on exciton-exciton interactions

In our study of super quantum discord between two excitonic qubits inside a coupled semiconductor quantum dots system,our primary focus is to uncover the impact of weak measurement on its quantum characteristics.To achieve this,we analyze how varying the measurement strength x,affects this super quantum correlation in the presence of thermal effects.Additionally,we assess the effect of this variation on the system's evolution against its associated quantum parameters;external electric fields,exciton-exciton dipole interaction energy and F?rster interaction.Our findings indicate that adjusting x to smaller values effectively enhances the super quantum correlation,making weak measurements act as a catalyst.This adjustment ensures its robustness against thermal effects while preserving the non-classical attributes of the system.Furthermore,our study unveils that the effect of weak measurements on this latter surpasses the quantum effects associated with the system.Indeed,manipulating the parameter x allows the weak measurement to function as a versatile tool for modulating quantum characteristics and controlling exciton-exciton interactions within the coupled semiconductor quantum dots system. 展开更多

Alignment and measurement of the magnetic field for the BESⅢ muon counter

Based on cosmic ray events without a magnetic field taken with the BESIII detector during the summer shutdown of BEPCII in 2012 and di-muon events from a data sample taken at center-of-mass energy of 3.686 GeV in 2009, we compare the coordinates of hits registered in the BESIII muon counter with the expected interaction point extrapolated from reconstructed tracks from the inner tracking system in the absence of a magnetic field. By minimizing the difference, we align the muon counter with the inner tracking system. Moreover, the strength of the magnetic field in the muon counter is measured for the first time with di-muon events from data taken at a center- of-mass energy of 3.686 GeV. After the Mignment and the magnetic field strength measurement, the offsets in the reconstructed hit positions for muon tracks are reduced, which improves the muon identification. The alignment and magnetic field strength measurement have been adopted in the latest version of the BESIII offiine software system. This addition to the software reduces the systematic uncertainty for the physics analysis in cases where the muon counter information is used. 展开更多

The dynamics of quantum discord for two qubits independently interacting with dephasing reservoirs have been studied recently.The authors [Phys.Rev.A 88(2013) 034304] found that for some Bell-diagonal states(BDS)which interact with their environments the calculation of quantum discord could experience a sudden transition in its dynamics,this phenomenon is known as the sudden change.Here in the present paper,we analyze the dynamics of normal quantum discord and super quantum discord for tripartite Bell-diagonal states independently interacting with dephasing reservoirs.Then,we find that basis change does not necessary mean sudden change of quantum correlations. 展开更多
