Relationship between physical activity and specific working memory indicators of depressive symptoms in university students

BACKGROUND The detection rate of depression among university students has been increasing in recent years,becoming one of the main psychological diseases that endangers their physical and mental health.According to statistics,self-harm and suicide,for which there is no effective intervention,are the second leading causes of death.AIM To explore the relationship between different elements and levels of physical activity and college students’depression-symptom-specific working memory indicators.METHODS Of 143 college students were analyzed using the Beck Depression Self-Rating Scale,the Physical Activity Rating Scale,and the Working Memory Task.RESULTS There was a significant difference between college students with depressive symptoms and healthy college students in completing verbal and spatial working memory(SWM)tasks correctly(all P<0.01).Physical Activity Scale-3 scores were significantly and positively correlated with the correct rate of the verbal working memory task(r=0.166)and the correct rate of the SWM task(r=0.210)(all P<0.05).There were significant differences in the correct rates of verbal and SWM tasks according to different exercise intensities(all P<0.05)and different exercise durations(all P<0.05),and no significant differences in the correct rates of verbal and SWM tasks by exercise frequency(all P>0.05).CONCLUSION An increase in physical exercise among college students,particularly medium-and high-intensity exercise and exercise of 30 min or more,can improve the correct rate of completing working memory tasks.

Research on the Ideological and Political Work of Nursing Students in the New Era under the Strategy of Healthy China

Nursing students have uniqueness within the general university student population as they are among the primary practitioners of the “Healthy China Strategy 2030” and guardians of people’s health. Innovating and strengthening ideological and political education for nursing students, enhancing their skills in serving the people, is a significant political task for medical universities. Against the backdrop of the “Healthy China Strategy,” how to effectively improve nursing students’ professional competencies, integrate life education, medical humanities education, and general ideological and political education, and utilize life education to construct a more suitable ideological and political education system for nursing students, in order to better establish correct worldviews, values, and professional outlooks, are urgent practical issues that need to be addressed in ideological and political education in medical universities. This article takes life education as an entry point and focuses on integrating it with the internalization and unification of ideological and political education courses, aiming to explore the possibilities and new pathways for integrating life education into the ideological and political education of nursing students in the new era.

扩展目标跟踪Student’s t逆Wishart平滑算法

脉冲干扰和离群量测信息等因素通常会导致异常的厚尾噪声,这使得以高斯假设为前提的扩展目标跟踪(ETT)估计器的性能急剧降低,针对该问题该文提出一种基于扩展目标随机矩阵模型(RMM)的Student’s t逆Wishart平滑(StIWS)算法。首先,将目标的运动状态以及过程噪声和量测噪声建模为Student’s t分布以表征异常噪声对扩展目标概率分布的影响,将目标扩展状态建模为服从逆Wishart分布的随机矩阵。然后,在Student’s t贝叶斯平滑框架下,详细推导了能在扩展目标的多重特征动态演变的过程中有效估计目标状态的StIWS算法。最后,通过扩展目标跟踪的仿真实验结果和真实场景实验结果验证了所提算法的有效性。

Cross-Cultural Adjustment and Coping:U.S.Students in Taiwan Residents Higher Education

The aim of this study was to investigate the adjustment problems of students from the United States enrolled in universities in the East,specifically in Taiwan,their problems related to cultural adaptation,and the process of adjustment to student life in Taiwan.Under investigation were cultural adjustment and coping skills as these students transitioned from West to East.Qualitative data were collected from interviews with participants and faculty members as well as participant observations.Results indicated that U.S.students found their own ways to acclimate to their new academic setting as well as to social relations,cross-cultural issues,and the linguistic environment in Taiwan to achieve effective adaptation.They made changes in themselves to cope with all situations they encountered.This study provides suggestions for international students abroad in Taiwan,for the Taiwan Residents government,and for universities or colleges in terms of what they should offer to current and future international students.

Analysis of New Senior English for China Student’s Book 1

This article will firstly discuss the context overview of English teaching and learning in China. Under thiscircumstance, a problematic element will be examined of the New Senior English for China Student’s Book 1 and critical appraisal ofhow this element relates to other elements of curriculum development will be analyzed. The recommended changes and demonstrationmechanisms for evaluating the changes are put forward in the last two parts.

Student’s Health Exercise Recognition Tool for E-Learning Education

Due to the recently increased requirements of e-learning systems,multiple educational institutes such as kindergarten have transformed their learning towards virtual education.Automated student health exercise is a difficult task but an important one due to the physical education needs especially in young learners.The proposed system focuses on the necessary implementation of student health exercise recognition(SHER)using a modified Quaternion-basedfilter for inertial data refining and data fusion as the pre-processing steps.Further,cleansed data has been segmented using an overlapping windowing approach followed by patterns identification in the form of static and kinematic signal patterns.Furthermore,these patterns have been utilized to extract cues for both patterned signals,which are further optimized using Fisher’s linear discriminant analysis(FLDA)technique.Finally,the physical exercise activities have been categorized using extended Kalmanfilter(EKF)-based neural networks.This system can be implemented in multiple educational establishments including intelligent training systems,virtual mentors,smart simulations,and interactive learning management methods.

S-CO_(2)介质止推箔片气体动压轴承特性研究

针对超临界二氧化碳(SupercriticalCarbon Dioxide,S-CO_(2))润滑波箔型止推箔片气体动压轴承,通过反向传播(Back Propagation,BP)神经网络算法提出S-CO_(2)的物性模型,并考虑轴承工作时的非理想气体效应,提出考虑湍流效应气体润滑模型、箔片结构力学模型和气膜平均温升计算方法,对止推箔片气体动压轴承的静动态特性进行研究,并分析不同结构参数对箔片气体轴承静动态特性的影响规律.结果表明,本文提出的物性模型准确度高,相关系数高达99.997%.以S-CO_(2)为润滑介质的止推箔片气体动压轴承具有更高的承载力,且在适当范围内减小最小初始气膜厚度或增加膜厚比可以提高轴承的承载力.以S-CO_(2)为介质的止推箔片气体动压轴承的动态刚度系数和动态阻尼系数均远高于常温常压空气介质下的止推箔片气体动压轴承.随着最小初始气膜厚度减小,轴承的动态刚度系数和动态阻尼系数均迅速增加.

Evaluation of Technical Education by Using a Modern Structured MOODLE Laboratory Course, in Relation to Recent Data

E-learning platforms support education systems worldwide, transferring theoretical knowledge as well as soft skills. In the present study high-school pupils’, and adult students’ opinions were evaluated through a modern structured MOODLE interactive course, designed for the needs of the laboratory course “Automotive Systems”. The study concerns Greek secondary vocational education pupils aged 18 and vocational training adult students aged 20 to 50 years. The multistage, equal size simple random cluster sample was used as a sampling method. Pupils and adult students of each cluster completed structured 10-question questionnaires both before and after attending the course. A total of 120 questionnaires were collected. In general, our findings disclosed that the majority of pupils and adult students had significantly improved their knowledge and skills from using MOODLE. They reported strengthening conventional teaching, using the new MOODLE technology. The satisfaction indices improved quite, with the differences in their mean values being statistically significant.

How Can Group Work Improve Speaking Skills of Chinese EFL Students?

This paper is to explore the validity of group work in improving Chinese learners’English-speaking skills.It starts with briefly investigating the current situations concerning the teaching of conversational English in Chinese context.Then a literature review about group work is presented.Finally,a great deal of tentative advice on how to implement group work activities in a spo⁃ken class will be recommended to Chinese EFL teachers.

Teacher's Role in Students'Group Work in College English Classroom

The implementation of group work in China is aroused by the teaching reform and proposal of the New Curriculum Standard, in order to improve the language teaching and learning. However, in many cases group work is far less effective and desirable than it should have been. The effectiveness of group work depends on many factors in real language classroom setting. This paper mainly focuses on the factor of teacher's role. The main implication of this paper is to suggest the appropriate teacher role in students'group work and put forward some skills in organizing group work in order to make group work more effective and significant.

基于Web浏览器的勤工助学信息管理系统采用B/S架构,包括客户端、服务器、数据库3部分。系统用户分为3类,学生用户可登录系统在线申请岗位、查询工作记录与考核结果;教师用户具备设置岗位信息、审批工作记录、核算月度酬金等权限;管理员享有查询工作量、汇总考核表、发放酬金等高级权限,为勤工助学的信息管理和工作开展提供便利。

医学生农村就业意愿的Logistic回归分析及对策研究

基于广东省287名医学生的调研数据,利用Logistic模型分析医学生农村就业意愿及其影响因素。研究发现,仅有40.77%的医学生愿意到农村就业,农村就业意愿整体较低;晋升空间、学习机会、福利待遇、社会认可和医患关系是影响医学生农村就业意愿的重要外部因素,性别、生源地、是否为独生子女、家庭收入和就业信息了解程度是重要的内部因素。

基于CNN和D-S证据理论的多站协同多功能雷达工作模式识别方法

传统的多功能雷达工作模式识别方法主要利用单一电子侦察设备侦收的脉冲数据完成特征提取,其模型或算法的泛化能力不强。因此,提出基于卷积神经网络(Convolutional Neural Network,CNN)和D-S(Dempster-Shafer)证据理论的多站协同多功能雷达工作模式识别方法。首先,利用轻量级CNN模型对不同方位、不同俯仰下侦察截获分选的脉冲幅度/波形单元数据进行自适应特征提取。其次,利用多站协同侦察系统通过D-S证据理论融合多站协同下不同侦察站点的Softmax分类器的分类结果,实现在差侦察条件下对不同空间方向上的多功能雷达工作模式快速准确识别。仿真验证结果表明,该方法相比于单侦察站条件下具有更好的识别性能。

厚尾噪声条件下星凸形扩展目标student’s t滤波器

针对非线性非高斯厚尾噪声条件下的不规则形状的扩展目标跟踪问题,提出了基于随机超曲面模型(RHM)的星凸形扩展目标student’s t滤波算法.首先,在带有非高斯厚尾过程噪声和厚尾量测噪声的系统中,基于student’s t分布给出鲁棒student’s t滤波器.其次,利用随机超曲面模型描述任意星凸形扩展目标的量测源分布,提出带厚尾噪声的星凸形扩展目标student’s t滤波器.最后通过仿真验证了所提方法的正确性和有效性.

基于ASP.NET的高校党建工作绩效评价管理系统设计

通过对高校党建工作调研,开发了一个采用MVC开发模式、B/S架构,以SQL作为数据存储技术,基于Asp.net技术的高校党建工作绩效评价管理系统,实现了自我评价、他人评价、评价分析、系统设计等常用功能。通过测试表明,系统设计合理,运行稳定,指标设置灵活,保证了党员工作绩效评价的科学、公正,提高了考评管理的效率。

The value of group work in developing oral skills for Chinese learners of EFL

Researchers have demonstrated that group work is an effective way to improve students' oral English and should be widely used in speaking classes because it can not only create a relaxed atmosphere with a sense of security to reduce students' anxiety,but also provide them with as many opportunities as possible to practice speaking English.In this paper,the author attempts to demonstrate the benefits of group work in enhancing oral skills for Chinese learners of EFL by relating the literature review of group work to his own language learning experiences which will be presented as a reflection,comparison and evaluation of the literature and the findings of the studies.

Student’s t滤波框架下的信息融合算法

针对多传感器系统的观测噪声为非高斯噪声的问题,通过Student’s t滤波框架和四元数特性相结合,以无迹变换计算Student’s t加权积分函数,设计基于Student’s t分布的无迹四元数滤波算法,作为局部滤波算法.利用拉格朗日乘子法计算最优融合权重系数,通过线性加权融合的方式,对各局部滤波结果进行融合.采用基于四元数的目标姿态运动模型进行仿真,利用3个星敏感器同时对同一目标进行观测,通过与已有的鲁棒无迹Student’s t滤波(RSTUF)算法对比,验证所提算法的有效性.仿真结果表明:所提算法在对目标姿态的估计精度、滤波收敛速度及收敛后的数值稳定性方面均高于RSTUF算法;通过多个观测信息互补,提高了估计精度及容错性.

基于C/S模式的高校体育教学体能监测方法

为了提升体能监测方法的并行加速比,设计了基于C/S模式的高校体育教学体能监测平台。利用物联网技术设计了平台的硬件框架和数据库;采用C/S模式设计平台的软件框架,通过数据分析与处理、实时采集、设备及用户信息管理和三维场景实现平台软件的功能,在软件设计中利用专家访谈法和特尔斐法构建体育教学体能监测指标,采用模糊综合评价法实现户外体育教学的学生体能监测。实验结果表明,所提方法的收敛性能好、并行加速比高、吞吐量高。
