"Labor Shortage" or "Difficult Employment":A Study on the Employment Problem of College Students from the Perspective of Demographic Dividend

[Objective] The aim was to analyze the phenomenon of employment diffi- culty and labor shortage, and to reveal the influencing factors of employment difli- culty and labor shortage. [Method] On the basis of the economic principle of popu- lation dividend, the use of human resources and natural resource constraints The IS-LM model describes these two states. [Results] The resource constraints have a ＂squeeze＂ effect on the demographic dividend, and employment pressure is shown in terms of the population opportunity window; the labor market segmentation, the ir- rational industrial structure, the backward curriculum and employment concept are the main factors affecting employment and labor shortage. [Conclusion] The way to solve this dilemma must be removed from the division of labor market, the adjust- ment of industrial structure, the setting of university specialty, the change of em- ployment concept of university graduates as well as the improvement of the quality of labor.

The Integration of Ideological and Political Education in Colleges and Universities and Employment of College Students

Research on New Employment Methods of College Students from the Perspective of Sharing Economy

Research on Human Capital and Higher Education Based on the Perspective of Employment of College Students

The status of human capital should match economic development. Researching the unemployment of college students firstly needs to know about the economic development stage and economic structure in China. Employment of college students not only is the problem of unbalanced supply and demand of college students, but also has close relationship with supply-demand relationship of higher education market. Employment of college students has relationship with two markets, education market and labor market, in which higher education supply is middle. For two markets, the decision-making subject make the optimal decision according to the principle that marginal income is equal to marginal cost. Under the specific economic development stage and economic structure in China, the family has greater requirement on higher education in education market, and the supply of higher education is insufficient. For labor market, economic development is difficult to fully absorb the existing college graduates, and the supply of higher education is excess. The imbalance of two markets causes the increase of supply pressure of higher education and idle human resource.

Research on the Employment and Social Demands-oriented Educational and Teaching Reform

As the social employment situation is getting grueling, the issue of the diffi cult employment of students has become increasinglysalient. It is of prime importance to resolve these issues through educational and teaching reform under such urgent situation. Therefore,educational institutions and departments should re-position the teaching model according to employment and social demands to explore afeasible educational and teaching model and provide an effective approach to the increasing employment rate of graduates. OPT-BAG Model for Predicting Student Employability

The use of machine learning to predict student employability is important in order to analyse a student’s capability to get a job.Based on the results of this type of analysis,university managers can improve the employability of their students,which can help in attracting students in the future.In addition,learners can focus on the essential skills identified through this analysis during their studies,to increase their employability.An effectivemethod calledOPT-BAG(OPTimisation of BAGging classifiers)was therefore developed to model the problem of predicting the employability of students.This model can help predict the employability of students based on their competencies and can reveal weaknesses that need to be improved.First,we analyse the relationships between several variables and the outcome variable using a correlation heatmap for a student employability dataset.Next,a standard scaler function is applied in the preprocessing module to normalise the variables in the student employability dataset.The training set is then input to our model to identify the optimal parameters for the bagging classifier using a grid search cross-validation technique.Finally,the OPT-BAG model,based on a bagging classifier with optimal parameters found in the previous step,is trained on the training dataset to predict student employability.The empirical outcomes in terms of accuracy,precision,recall,and F1 indicate that the OPT-BAG approach outperforms other cutting-edge machine learning models in terms of predicting student employability.In this study,we also analyse the factors affecting the recruitment process of employers,and find that general appearance,mental alertness,and communication skills are the most important.This indicates that educational institutions should focus on these factors during the learning process to improve student employability.

Design and Implementation of the Employment Management Decision Support System based on Machine Learning

To address the challenges of current college student employment management,this study designed and implemented a machine learning-based decision support system for college student employment management.The system collects and analyzes multidimensional data,uses machine learning algorithms for prediction and matching,provides personalized employment guidance for students,and provides decision support for universities and enterprises.The research results indicate that the system can effectively improve the efficiency and accuracy of employment guidance,promote school-enterprise cooperation,and achieve a win-win situation for all parties.
