By this method, several same or similar time-varying components are arranged according to certain rules along the time axis. The synthesized command can suppress the arbitrary unwanted vibration harmonic while achieving the desired rigid body motion. The number of the components increases rapidly when the number of harmonic vibration is growing. In this article, the CSVS based on zero-placement technique is used to construct the synthesized command to suppress the multi-harmonics simultaneously in the discrete domain. The nature of zero-placement method is to put enough zeros to cancel system poles at necessary points. The designed synthesized command has equal time intervals between each component and which is much easier to be implemented. Using this method, the number of components increases linearly with the increasing of the number of being suppressed harmonics. For the spacecraft with flexible appendages, CSVS based on zero-placement is used to design the time optimal large angle maneuver control strategy. Simulations have verified the validity and superiority of the proposed approach.展开更多

Lithium metal is the most promising electrode for next-generation rechargeable batteries. However, the formation of lithium dendrite on the anode surface leads to serious safety concerns and low coulombic efficiency.Recently, researchers have made great efforts and significant progresses to solve these problems. Here we review the growth mechanism and suppression method of lithium dendrite for LSBs’ anode protection. We also establish the relationship between the growth mechanism and suppression method. The research direction for building better LSBs is given by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of these methods based on the growth mechanism.展开更多

When suppression methods are used, the proportion of second-order harmonic is less than 1.7% and the third-order harmonic is ignorable.展开更多

Firstly, mesh sensitivity analysis and grid-independent analysis are carried out for the computer code validation. Then, the numerical method is further validated by comparing the calculated results and experimental data. Thirdly, the effects of head-end cavity on the pressure oscillation am-plitudes are studied in this paper. The results indicate that cavity volume, location and configuration have a cooperative ef- fect on the oscillation amplitude. It is proved that Rayleigh criterion can be used as a guiding principle for the design of reso- nance damping cavity. The change of the head-end cavity breaks the balance between the mass flux and acoustic energy. Therefore, the pressure oscillation characteristics change accordingly. It is concluded that a large mass flux added at the pres- sure antinode could attribute to significant amplitude. Meanwhile, the damping effect of the cavity is stronger when the dis- tance between cavity and pressure antinode becomes shorter. Finally, this method is applied to the modification of an engi- neering solid rocket motor. The static test of solid rocket motor reflects that the oscillations can be effectively suppressed by a head-end cavity.展开更多

Here, prior to ALD coating, CdS, one facilely corrosive photocatalyst, was synthesized via hydrothermal synthesis to access the fundamental corrosion mechanism and the according corrosive sites. X-ray photoelectron spectros- copy (XPS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) demonstrated that the failure of catalytic decomposition of methylene blue originated from the formation of soluble CdSO4 by oxidizing S2 of as-prepared CdS. High resolu- tion transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) further identified the active sites in the V-shaped regions ofCdS nanoparticles, confirmed by the simulated electric field distribution. To rationally coat oxides on CdS, the right candidates and their thicknesses have been considered by our tunneling model with trans- fer matrix method based on quantum mechanism, upon which the thickness of protective layer should be less than 0.5 nm to maintain a high tunneling probability, and thus one cycle of ALD TiO2 or AbO3 was proposed to passivate the CdS powder to balance the carrier transportation and corrosion suppres- sion. Based on HRTEM results, we found that the active V-shaped region was covered by ALD oxides (TiO2 or AbO3). For each case, no soluble CdSO4 has been found before and after photocatalytic reactions based XPS measurements. Importantly, we noticed that with the passivation of one cycle of ALD, the catalyst's lifetime was elongated up to 〉14 times higher than that of the as-prepared CdS.展开更多
