The calculation method of this special heat exchanger under natural convection condition in In-containment Refueling Water Storage Tank (IRWST) was carried out. The single-tube coupling model three-dimensional natural circulation in the IRWST was simulated numerically using Fluent. The heat transfer and flow characteristics of the fluid in IRWST were obtained. The comparison of the results between theoretical arithmetic and numerical simulation showed that the theoretical calculation method is suitable for the heat transfer calculation of PRHR HX. 展开更多

The technology of passive safety is the current trend among safety systems in nuclear power plant. Pas- sive residual heat removal system (PRHRS), a major part of passive safety systems of Chinese advanced PWR, is a novel design with three-fold natural circulation. On the basis of reasonable physics and mathematics models, MI- TAP-PRHRS code was developed to analyze steady and transient characteristics of the PRHRS. The calculation and analysis show that the code simulates steady characteristics of the PRHRS very well, and it is able to simulate tran- sient characteristics of all startup modes of the PRHRS. However, the quantitative description is poor during the ini- tial stages of the transition process when water hammer occurs. 展开更多

The effect of heat treatment for rice husk was investigated on the removal of arsenite in ground water by the adsorption onto the rice husk surface. The heat treatment was performed at the temperature from 80<sup>o</sup>C to 300<sup>o</sup>C in the closed system under anoxic environment. The continuous adsorption column method was applied for the removal of arsenite. The removal efficiency (75%) with rice husk treated at 150<sup>o</sup>C was better compared to those (54%) obtained with untreated rice husk. Therefore, the heat treatment of rice husk at relatively low temperature was effective for the enhancement of arsenic removal from water. The treatment conditions of As removal from aqueous solution were optimized. The developed treatment technique was applied into the real ground water sample in Bangladesh. The As concentration in sample water after treatment was approximately 18 and 8 μg/L, which was below the WHO guideline value of maximum admissible level of arsenic in ground water for Bangladesh (50 μg/L). The developed technique might become a potential avenue for simple and low cost arsenic removal methods. 展开更多

Thermal-hydraulic characteristic investigation on passive residual heat removal system (PRHRS) of Chinese advanced PWR was conducted to provide input data for PRHRS design and to demonstrate the feasibility of unique design features. A total of 237 sets of test data at steady state have been obtained and the main influence factors on the two-phase natural circulation flow rate and residual heat removal capability were identified. On the basis of theory analysis, a correlation of two-phase natural circulation was obtained, and relative errors of 95% test data were less than ±16%. There is a considerable effect of the system status parameters on the threshold of height between heat source and heat sink, and its correlation of two-phase natural circulation system has been obtained. The steady characteristic research shows that PRHRS has the capability of removing the core decay power through natural circulation. 展开更多

The Westinghouse Nuclear Safety Advisory Letter NSAL-09-8 investigated the possibility of presence of vapor in RHR (residual heat removal) system in modes 3/4 LOCA (loss-of-coolant accident) conditions. This concerns the Westinghouse standard three-loops plant for which the RHR is the low pressure part of the St (safety injection). In some cases one or both RHR trains may become inoperable for SI function. As a response to this letter, Westinghouse Electric Belgium is providing RELAP5 analyzes for Westinghouse NSSS (nuclear steam supply system) European plants to assess the thermal hydraulic behavior of the RHR suction piping system for ECCS (emergency core cooling system) initiation events postulated to occur during startup/shutdown operations. Several concerns including condensation induced water hammer and voiding at the RHR pump have been investigated. As a conclusion, the analysis allowed to define the bounding hot leg temperature conditions under which both RHR trains remain safely operable. These bounding conditions are then implemented by the customer in their OPs (operating procedures) to achieve safe operations and successful accident management. 展开更多

This study investigated the heat-acid activated red mud used for hexavalent chromium (Cr6+) removal from aqueous solution. The results showed that the heat-acid activated red mud enhanced hexavalent chromium removal capacity from 0.003 to 0.015 mg·g﹣1. Adsorption experiments were conducted as a function of adsorbent dosage, contact time, pH and reaction temperature. The removal efficiency was found to increase gradually when solution pH decreased and maximum removal was achieved at pH 2. The physico-chemical characteristics of heat-acid activated red mud were studied by using instrumental technique like Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF). The experimental data fitted well to Langmuir isotherm model. Thermodynamic parameters indicated the adsorption process was exothermic reaction. The cost-effective performance and, simple operation suggest the heat-acid activated red mud can be taken as a promising sorbents for removal of Cr6+ from wastewater. 展开更多

Objective To prospectively evaluate the efficacy of Removing Stasis and Reducing Heat Formula in accelerating calculus clearance and improving lower urinary tract symptoms of patients with proximal ureteral calculi after ureteroscopic Ho:YAG laser lithotripsy. Methods A total of 138 patients with proximal ureteral calculi underwent ureteroscopic Ho:YAG laser lithotripsy by a single endocrinologist. Stone size varied from 10 to 15 mm. After operation, the patients were randomly divided into three groups: the control group(group A), tamsulosin group(group B), and Removing Stasis and Reducing Heat Formula group(group C). The treatment lasted for 4 weeks or until stone clearance. The primary and secondary outcomes of the three groups at follow-up were assessed. Results Of the 131 patients available for follow-up, 44 cases were in the group A, 45 in the group B, and 42 in the group C, respectively. The stone free rate at 2 weeks in the groups B and C were significantly higher than that in the group A(95.56%, 97.62% vs. 79.55%; all P<0.05). The ureteral colic rate and mean time of fragment expulsion were significantly reduced in the groups B(4.44% and 7.86±4.99 days) and C(2.43% and 6.76±4.37 days) compared with the group A(22.73% and 11.54±9.89 days, all P<0.05). On the day of double-J ureteric stent removal, the group C differed significantly from the group A in the total International Prostate Symptom Score, irritative subscore, obstructive subscore, and quality of life score(all P<0.05). Conclusion Removing Stasis and Reducing Heat Formula in the medical expulsive therapy might be an effective modality for patients with calculus in the proximal uretera after ureteroscopic Ho:YAG laser lithotripsy. 展开更多

The miniature heat pipes are widely used in notebook computer to resolve the heat dissipation problems. Maximum heat removed model of miniature heat pipes building by grey model is presented. In order to know the foundation for modeling, the smooth grade of error examination is inquired and the accuracy of grey relational grade is verified. The model can be used to select a suitable heat pipes to solve electric heat problems in the future. Final results show that the grey model only needs four experiment data and its error value is less than 10%, further, it is better than computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model. 展开更多

This work is focused on the development of computational algorithms to create a simulator for solving the heat transfer during the continuous casting process of steel. The temperatures and the solid shell thickness profiles were calculated and displayed on the screen for a billet through a defined continuous casting plant (CCP). The algorithms developed to calculate billet temperatures, involve the solutions of the corresponding equations for the heat removal conditions such as radiation, forced convection, and conduction according to the billet posi- tion through the CCP. This is done by a simultaneous comparison with the kinematics model previously developed. A finite difference method known as Cmnk-Nicholson is applied to solve the two-dimensional computational array (2D model). Enthalpy (HIJ) and temperature (TIL) in every node are updated at each step time. The routines to display the results have been developed using a graphical user interface (GUI) in the programming language C++. Finally, the results obtained are compared with those of industrial trials for the surface temperature of three steel casters with different plant configurations in different casting conditions. 展开更多

A vapor-liquid-solid horizontal circulating fluidized bed evaporation setup was constructed to study the thermal-exchange properties and pressure change.The influences of the operating variables,including the amount of added particles,heat flux,and circulating flow velocity,were systematically inspected using resistance temperature detectors and pressure sensors.The results showed that the heat transfer eff ect was improved with the increase in the amount of added particles,circulating flow velocity,and particle diameter,but decreased with increasing heat flux.The pressure drop fluctuated with the increase in operating parameters,except circulating flow velocity.The enhancing factor reached up to 71.5%.The enhancing fac-tor initially increased and then decreased with the increase in the amount of added particles and circulating flow velocity,fluctuated with increasing particle diameter,and decreased with increasing heat flux.Phase diagrams showing the variation ranges of the operation variables for the enhancing factor were constructed. 展开更多

Objective:To evaluate the effect of Qingreliangxue method compared with Acitretin Capsules on clinical efficacy of psoriasis and serum inflammatory cytokines.Methods:The computer searches databases such as CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,PubMed,Embase and Cochrane Library.The search time is from the time the library is built until December 2019.According to the criteria for screening and selection of studies,extract data,use risk assessment tools for quality evaluation,and use Revman 5.3 software to perform meta-analysis on the outcome indicators of the included studis.Results:Finally,20 studies were included,with a total of 1592 patients.The analysis results showed that the total effective rate(OR=3.70,95%CI[2.58,5.30],P<0.00001)and cure rate(OR=2.40,95%CI[1.86,3.10],P<0.00001),PASI score(OR=-2.65,95%CI[-3.60,-1.70],P<0.00001),serum inflammatory cytokines(OR=-8.84,95%CI[-10.52,-7.16],P<0.00001),adverse reactions(OR=0.25,95%CI[0.11,0.57],P=0.001)are superior to Acitretin Capsules.Statistics of the top 10 Chinese medicines in clinical used frequency are,in order,habitat,red peony root,paeonol,honeysuckle,comfrey,soil tuckahoe,salvia miltiorrhiza,buffalo horn,heliotrope,angelica.Conclusion:Based on the current evidence,the treatment of psoriasis with clearing heat and cooling blood as the mainstay of Chinese medicine alone or in combination with Acitretin Capsules can better improve the efficacy,and its mechanism may be related to reducing inflammation.Due to the limitation of the included literature,this conclusion needs to be further verified. 展开更多

基于装量功率比约为1 t/MW的较典型池式钠冷大功率快堆的堆内自然循环设计,采用ERAC程序,对两组4种不同事故余热排出系统(DHRS)输入条件下,反应堆在紧急停堆后堆内的自然循环余热排出特性进行分析。结果表明,从DHRS启用到其对堆芯产生... 基于装量功率比约为1 t/MW的较典型池式钠冷大功率快堆的堆内自然循环设计,采用ERAC程序,对两组4种不同事故余热排出系统(DHRS)输入条件下,反应堆在紧急停堆后堆内的自然循环余热排出特性进行分析。结果表明,从DHRS启用到其对堆芯产生显著冷却效应,需要较长时间,在千秒量级。在该段时间内,堆芯余热的排出依靠反应堆固有的热工流体安全特性。随后,在堆内关键温度上升到限值之前启用DHRS带出池内热量,使堆内关键温度处于下降趋势即可满足安全要求;相比将独立热交换器(DHX)布置在冷池,将其布置在热池时,热池温度及主容器壁温相对要低,这有利于主容器的温度控制,其效果要优于布置于冷池。另外,不同布置会对堆芯盒内、盒间流流量产生影响,但总体上对堆芯的冷却效应影响不大;池式钠冷快堆余热排出设计中,要充分利用固有热工流体安全特性,降低对DHRS的时效性要求。可以考虑将全部的DHX都布置在热池,并缩小设备体积、降低散热功率设计值,或在不降低安全性的前提下选用其他更经济便捷的有效方式等,以此大幅降低余热排出设备投入成本,降低反应堆运行成本,提高经济性。本文研究结果可为我国后续的商用快堆、一体化快堆等池式液态金属堆的堆内自然循环设计提供重要参考。 展开更多
