Combined application of these techni...The fluid flow history during diagenesis of the Lower Triassic Bulgo sandstone has been investigated through integrated analyses of petrography, stable isotope and fluid inclusion. Combined application of these techniques was intended to constrain the temperature, timing, chemistry and source of pore fluids during diagenetic cementation events in the Lower Triassic Bulgo sandstone. The diagenesis proceeded in two different flow regimes: early dynamic fluid flow regime and late slow static fluid flow regime. The former was characterized by a slight increase of δ( 18 O) of pore waters form estimated -15×10 -3 to -14×10 -3 with the temperature increasing from ~10 ℃ to ~75 ℃. During early diagenesis, early clays and pore filling carbonates precipitated from the pore waters. The late slow flow/static fluid regime was characterized by a rapid 18 Oenrichment process. δ( 18 O) of pore waters increased from -14×10 -3 to -5×10 -3 with the temperature increasing from 75 ℃ to 110 ℃. During the late diagenesis, kaolin (generation Ⅱ), quartz and illite crystallized. Oil migrated to the sandstones of the Bulgo sandstone during quartz cementation.展开更多

The energy ratio between Wavemodes 1 and 2 was about 2 for most frequencies and was up to 8 at o = 0.23 cph.Wave components with frequencies 0.1-0.8 cph were generated in the deep sea,and propagated onshore,while those with frequencies higher than 0.8 cph were locally generated by the interaction between longshore currents and bottom topography.Several surveys were carried out in the sea off Sydney, Australia (Cresswell, 1974,Cresswell and Boland, 1981 ,and Fang,Boland and Cresswell, 1984). Objective: To determine the prevalence of H. pylori induced gastritis and its association with development of chronic inflammation and carcinoma with reference to updated Sydney classification, to ensure the proper di...Objective: To determine the prevalence of H. pylori induced gastritis and its association with development of chronic inflammation and carcinoma with reference to updated Sydney classification, to ensure the proper diagnosis and timely treatment. Methods: This was a cross sectional study conducted at the Department of Pathology, Dow Diagnostic Reference and Research Laboratory for the year 2018. Analysis of about 726 gastric biopsy specimens was performed to identify the epidemiological status of the disease. On the other hand, 100 of the specimens were analysed according to Sydney classification to ensure the accurate diagnosis of the gastritis and related disorders. Out of 726 biopsy samples positive samples for carcinoma were investigated in detail histological features. Giemsa stain was used to visualize the h pylori bacteria and the sections of biopsies were subjected to haematoxylin and eosin staining for histological analysis. Results: Out of 727 cases, H. pylori was found in 492 (67.8%) patients. About 1.79% (13) cases were identified as adenocarcinoma, 0.27% (2) squamous cell carcinoma and 0.13% (1) as B cell non Hodgkin lymphoma. Results of Sydney classification. The degree of chronic inflammatory activity was 57% mild;38% moderate and 3% severe out of a total of 67% cases in an active phase of Hp gastritis. Hp-associated gastritis was the most common form of chronic gastritis, without intestinal metaplasia and with mild activity. The association of h pylori with mild inflammation and Neutrophilic infiltrates of the lamina propria, pits, or surface epithelium was statistically significant (p value Conclusion: The frequency of H. pylori infection is common in our population but the infection is mild to moderate and its Sydney classification reveals that early diagnosis may prevent the later complication.展开更多

The Middle Permian Wand...The Sydney-Bowen basin in eastern Australia is an elongate back arc-converted foreland basin system situated between the Lachlan Fold Belt in the west and the New England Fold Belt in the east. The Middle Permian Wandrawandian Siltstone at Warden Head near Ulla- dulla in the southern Sydney Basin is dominated by fossiliferous siltstone and mudstone, with a large amount of dropstones and minor pebbly sandstone beds. Two general types of deposits are recognized from the siltstone unit in view of the timing and mechanism of formation. One is rep- resented by the primary deposits from offshore to subtidal environments with abundant drop- stones of glacial marine origin. The second type is distinguished by secondary, soft-sediment deformational deposits and structures, and comprises three layers of mudstone dykes of seismic origin. In the latter type, metre scale, laterally extensive syn-depositional slump deformation structures occur in the middle part of the Wandrawandian Siltstone. The deformation structures vary in morphology and pattern, including large-scale complex-type folds, flexural stratification, concave-up structures, faulting of small displacements accompanied by folding and brecciation. The slumps and associated syn-sedimentary structures are attributed to penecontemporaneous deformations of soft sediments (mostly silty mud) formed as a result of mass movement of un- consolidated and/or semi-consolidated substrate following an earthquake event. The occurrence of the earthquake event deposits supports the current view that the Sydney Basin was located in a back-arc setting near the New England magmatic arc on an active continental margin during the Middle Permian.展开更多
Introduction:Human noroviruses are the leading cause of acute viral gastroenteritis(AGE)worldwide in all age groups.GII.4 strains have been the predominant genotype circulating globally over the last 2 decades and sin...Introduction:Human noroviruses are the leading cause of acute viral gastroenteritis(AGE)worldwide in all age groups.GII.4 strains have been the predominant genotype circulating globally over the last 2 decades and since 2012.GII.4 Sydney viruses have emerged and caused the majority of AGE outbreaks worldwide.Methods:Data from norovirus outbreaks from the laboratory-based surveillance of norovirus outbreaks in China(CaliciNet China)between October 2016–December 2020 were analyzed.Results:During October 2016–December 2020,1,954 norovirus outbreaks were reported,and positive fecal samples from 1,352(69.19%)outbreaks were genotyped.GII.4 Sydney[P31]viruses accounted for 2.1%(October 2016–August 2017),5.5%(September 2017–August 2018),3.3%(September 2018–August 2018),26.6%(September 2019–August 2020),and and 1.1%(September 2020–December 2020)of GII outbreaks,respectively.Compared to reference strains of GII.4 Sydney[P31]from 2012 to 2013,7 amino acid mutations in epitopes[A(297,372 and 373),B(333),E(414),and H(309 and 310)]and 1 in human histo-blood group antigens binding site at site II 372 were found by analyzing 9 GII.4 Sydney[P31]complete genomic sequences.Conclusions:This report identified the genomic variation of GII.4 Sydney[P31]from CaliciNet China.Continued surveillance with prompt genotyping and genetic analysis is necessary to monitor the emergence of novel GII.4 variants.展开更多

文摘Introduction:Human noroviruses are the leading cause of acute viral gastroenteritis(AGE)worldwide in all age groups.GII.4 strains have been the predominant genotype circulating globally over the last 2 decades and since 2012.GII.4 Sydney viruses have emerged and caused the majority of AGE outbreaks worldwide.Methods:Data from norovirus outbreaks from the laboratory-based surveillance of norovirus outbreaks in China(CaliciNet China)between October 2016–December 2020 were analyzed.Results:During October 2016–December 2020,1,954 norovirus outbreaks were reported,and positive fecal samples from 1,352(69.19%)outbreaks were genotyped.GII.4 Sydney[P31]viruses accounted for 2.1%(October 2016–August 2017),5.5%(September 2017–August 2018),3.3%(September 2018–August 2018),26.6%(September 2019–August 2020),and and 1.1%(September 2020–December 2020)of GII outbreaks,respectively.Compared to reference strains of GII.4 Sydney[P31]from 2012 to 2013,7 amino acid mutations in epitopes[A(297,372 and 373),B(333),E(414),and H(309 and 310)]and 1 in human histo-blood group antigens binding site at site II 372 were found by analyzing 9 GII.4 Sydney[P31]complete genomic sequences.Conclusions:This report identified the genomic variation of GII.4 Sydney[P31]from CaliciNet China.Continued surveillance with prompt genotyping and genetic analysis is necessary to monitor the emergence of novel GII.4 variants.
