Taxonomic study of the histrio group with a new species of Macrophya Dahlbom (Hymenoptera:Tenthredinidae) from China

In this paper, the relationships and characteristics of the M. histrio group, which now includes eight known species worldwide, are briefly discussed. A key to the five known species of the M. histrio group known from China is provided. Macrophya latidentata Li, Liu Wei sp. nov. of the M. histrio group from Guangdong in China is described. It is similar to M. histrioides Wei, 1998.

Taxonomic study of the Macrophya malaisei group with two new species(Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae) in China

In this paper, the relationships and characteristics of the M. malaisei group, which now includes four known species worldwide, are briefly discussed. A key to the five known species of the M. malaisei group from China is provided, including two new species of the M. malaisei group, M. diqingensis Li, Liu ＆ Wei sp. nov. and M. tenuitarsalina Li, Liu ＆ Wei sp. nov.

Two new species of flavomaculata-group of the genus Macrophya Dahlbom(Hymenoptera:Tenthredinidae) from China

A taxonomic review is provided for the flavomaculata-group of the genus Macrophya, including the descriptions of two new species from China, namely M. coloritibialis Li, Liu ＆ Wei, sp. nov. and 34.. zhui Li, Liu ＆ Wei, sp. nov. A key to Chinese species of this group is provided, The type specimens of new species are deposited in the Insect Collection of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Changsha, Hunan, China.

Three new species of imitator-group of the genus Macrophya(Hymenoptera,Tenthredinidae) from China

Three species, Macrophya circulotibialis Li, Liu ＆ Heng, sp. nov., M. curvatitheca Li, Liu ＆ Heng, sp. nov. and M. changbaina Li, Liu ＆ Heng, sp. nov., of the imitator-group of the genus Macrophya Dahlbom （Hymenoptera, Tenthredinidae） from China are described as new to science. A key to all known species of the imitator-group from China is provided. The specimens examined in this study, including all holotypes and paratypes of the new species, are deposited in the Insect Collection of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Changsha, Hunan, China, and the Department of Zoology, National Museum of Nature and Science, Amakubo, Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan.

Three new species of annulitibia-group of the genus Macrophya Dahlbom (Hymenoptera： Tenthredinidae)in Mts. Qinling from China

Three new species of the annulitibia-group of the genus Macrophya Dahlbom （Hymenoptera, Tenthredinidae） in Mts. Qinling from China are described, namely M acrophya brevicinctata Li, Liu ＆ Wei, sp. nov., M. qinlingium Li, Liu ＆ Wei, sp. nov. and M. rugosifossa Li, Liu ＆ Wei, sp. nov. A key to all known species of the annulitibia-group from China is provided. The specimens examined in this study are mostly deposited in the Insect Collection of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Changsha, Hunan, China, including all holotypes and some paratypes of the new species. Other paratypes of the new species are deposited in the Department of Zoology, National Museum of Nature and Science, Amakubo, Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan.

Four new species of sanguinolenta-group of the genus Macrophya (Hymenoptera:Tenthredinidae) from China

Four new species of the sanguinolenta-group of the genus Macrophya from China are described, namely M. cheni sp. nov., M. yichangensis sp. nov., M. elegansoma sp. nov., and M. reni sp. nov. The species M. cheni sp. nov. and M. yichangensis sp. nov. belong to the koreana-subgroup, while M. elegansoma sp. nov. and M. reni sp. nov. belong to the sanguinolenta-subgroup. The division of the koreana and sanguinolenta-subgroups are briefly discussed. Keys to all known species of the koreana and sanguinolenta-subgroups from China are provided, respectively. The type specimens of new species are deposited in the Insect Collection of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Changsha, Hunan, China.

The species of Pachyprotasis flavipes group in Pachyprotasis Hartig from Zhejiang,Hunan and Jiangxi Provinces of China are investigated.Two new species are described:Pachyprotasis rufofemorata Zhong,Li&Wei sp.nov.and P.parawui Zhong,Li&Wei sp.nov.A key to all species in the P.flavipes group from China is updated.

Two new species of the Tenthredo fortunei group(Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae) from China

Two new species of Tenthredo fortunei group from China are described： Tenthredo nigrocaudata Niu, Hu ＆ Wei sp. nov. and Tenthredo novemmacula Niu, Hu ＆ Wei sp. nov.

Review of Propodea Malaise(Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae) with descriptions of two new species, three new records from China and a new record from Nepal

Propodea Malaise, 1945 is reviewed and redescribed. Seven species of Propodea are discussed.Propodea sinica Wu Wei sp. nov. and P. xanthocera Wu Wei sp. nov. are described as new to science.Propodea rotundiventris（Cameron, 1899）, P. fentoni（Kirby, 1882） and Propodea ussuriensis（Malaise, 1931）are recorded for the first time from China. A key to species of Propodea Malaise is also provided. Tenthredo rufonotalis Mallach, 1936 is removed from being a junior synonym of Dipteromorpha ussuriensis Malaise,1931. Propodea rufonotalis（Mallach, 1936） is a new combination transferred from Tenthredo. The species previously recorded as Propodea rotundiventris（Cameron, 1899） from China before this paper is a misidentification of P. sinica sp. nov. The real Propodea rotundiventris（Cameron, 1899） is redescribed based on the holotype and new material. Propodea spinosa（Cameron, 1899） is recorded for the first time from Nepal.

Three new species of Tenthredo L. (Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae) from China

Three new species of Tenthredo L. of Tenthredinidae are described： Tenthredo spinipulchra Wei sp. nov. from Ningxia, Gansu, Shaanxi, Hebei, Shanxi and Sichuan, T. heterostigmata Wei sp. nov. from Gansu and Shaanxi, T. maculoscapila Wei sp. nov. from Shandong and Gansu in China. The former two new species are members of Tenthredo pulchra group and the last is a member of Tenthredo stigma group. The distinguishing characteristics of above-mentioned groups are briefly discussed.

Two new Tenthredo species(Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae) from China

Tenthredo bicuspis Liu Wei sp. nov. and T. biminutidota Liu Wei sp. nov. are described from China. Tenthredo bicuspis is similar to T. amurica Dalla Torre, 1894 from Siberia in Russia but differs in the pterostigma yellow brown, the upper inner orbits, temple, pronotum, tegula, mesoscutellum and mesepisternum with distinct white maculae, the mesoscutellum strongly elevated with two obtuse peaks, the dorsum of head impunctate, the dorsum of thorax and mesopleuron shiny, the supraantennal tubercles strongly elevated with the posterior end abruptly cut off. Tenthredo biminutidota is similar to T. flavobrunneus Malaise,1945 but differs in the postocellar area about 1.5 times as broad as long, the lateral furrows distinctly divergent backwards; the black macula on dorsum of head very large and almost touching the eye or nearly so, the supraantennal tubercles largely black and evenly merging with frontal walls; the mesoscutellum and mesepisternum not strongly elevated with a low peak; each abdominal tergite with a narrow basal black band and a pair of black dots laterally; the female hypopygium with a large middle process and serrulae hardly elevated.

Two new species of the Tenthredo grahami group from China(Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae), with a revised key to species

Two new species of the Tenthredo grahami group of Tenthredinidae,Hymenoptera,from Sichuan and Tibet of China are described here,namely T.nigrobullifera sp.nov.and T.megamaculata sp.nov.A diagnosis and a revised key to species of the Tenthredo grahami group are provided.All type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Asian Sawfly Museum,Nanchang,China(ASMN).
