Prescription and treatment rules for the prescriptions containing Poria cocos and Atractylodes macrocephala couplet medicine based on traditional Chinese Medicine inheritance support platform

Objectives:To provide a theoretical basis for the development of the new products of Poria cocos-Atractylodes macrocephala couplet medicine.Methods:All prescription preparations containing Poria cocos and Atractylodes macrocephala were collected from the Drug Standards of the Ministry of Public Health Drug Standard·Traditional Chinese Medicine Set Prescription Preparation(called Traditional Chinese Medicine Set Prescription Preparation for short).After standardization,the information of each prescription preparation was input into the Chinese Traditional Medicine Inheritance Support Platform(V2.5),and the relevant rules of the software were adopted.Data mining methods were used to analyze the frequency of drugs,main symptoms and diseases in prescriptions,and to analyze the regularity of prescriptions.The prescription rules of top 2 high frequency attending syndromes and diseases were analyzed.Results:There were total of 337 prescription preparations containing couplet medicine of Poria cocos and Atractylodes macrocephala,107 kinds of main symptoms and 66 kinds of diseases.The high frequency syndromes were deficiency of Qi and blood and weakness of spleen and stomach,and the high frequency syndromes were anorexia and irregular menstruation.Conclusion:The couplet medicine of Poria cocos-atractylodes macrocephala prescription is mainly used to treat digestive tract diseases and gynecological diseases;it mostly takes tonifying deficiency efficat.It can treat different diseases being compatible with different medicinal materials.The study can provide theoretical basis for clinical application and new drug development of the couplet medicine of Poria cocos-atractylodes macrocephala.

Regularity of syndrome differentiation and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine for Henoch-Schonlein purpura based on data mining techniques

Objective:This study aims to explore the regularity of syndrome differentiation and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)for allergic purpura.Methods:CNKI,Weipu Chinese science and technology database,wanfang medical network database,and Chinese biomedical literature database were searched for eligible studies.Medical records including complete patient personal information,patient symptoms,TCM syndromes,treatment,and medication were included.The data was analyzed using the Chinese medicine heritage support platform provided by the Chinese Academy of Chinese medicine(V2.5).Results:Differentiation of health gas camp blood was the most commonly used method of differentiation of symptoms and signs in famous veteran TCM.The treatment included cooling blood,activating blood circulation,clearing heat and detoxifying toxins,removing blood stasis and stopping bleeding.Honeysuckle,Forsythia suspensa,cicada slough and other drugs were interrelated.Potential drug pair combinations and drug networks showed the basic drug composition of Qingying Decoction.According to the entropy cluster analysis,28 core drug combination and 12 new formulations were obtained.Conclusion:The regularity of syndrome differentiation and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine for Henoch-Schonlein purpura based on the famous and old TCM doctors was complex.Further researches are still needed.

Clinical Experience in the Treatment of Vulvovaginal Candida Disease with Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine

Summarizing two cases of vaginal candidiasis,cured by integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in clinical work,it is found that the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine has a significant effect on the treatment of this disease.The curative effect is outstanding,and the recurrence rate is significantly reduced,which can be used as a reference for gynecological medical workers.

A case of 9p deletion syndrome with congenital infantile glaucoma,effective method of diagnosis,and treatment

Summary on Professor QIAO Bao-zhang's Experience in Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment for Pancreatic Cancer

Objective:To summarize clinical experience of Professor QIAO Bao-zhang in treatment for pancreatic cancer,and to provide reference for clinicians.Methods:Through learning from Professor QIAO during his clinical practice and listening to his lectures,Professor QIAO Bao-zhang's clinically proved cases of treating pancreatic cancer based on syndrome differentiation were organized and summarized.From aspects like etiology,pathogenesis,treatment principles and treatment methods of pancreatic cancer,Professor QIAO's experience in diagnosis and treatment for this disease was analyzed and explored,and characteristics of medication were summarized.Two typical cases were selected as proof,and his treatment ideas and methods were explored.Results:Professor QIAO believes that the pathogenesis is mostly deficiency of vital Qi(正气),and stagnation of phlegm,heat and dampness in Zang-Fu(脏腑)and meridians.Around intermingled deficiency and excess,syndrome differentiation and treatment were performed.Due to treatment methods such as strengthening vital Qi to eliminate pathogenic factor,clearing heat,eliminating dampness and resolving phlegm,as well as removing toxicity and resolving hard mass,progress of malignant tumors was inhibited and recurrence and metastasis of malignant tumors were delayed.Conclusion:Professor QIAO's experience in treating pancreatic cancer is worth learning.

Therapy of Suppressing Yang and Astringing Yin for the Treatment of Cancer-Related Insomnia

The pathogenesis of can cer-related in som nia(CRI)mainly in eludes,first,the flow of cancerous toxin leading to the disorder of visceral qi;second,cancer-related radiotherapy and chemotherapy belonging to"exogenous pathogenic factors"to a certain extent,which can further aggravate visceral disorders.The therapeutic principle of Chinese medicine is to tranquilize the mind on the basis of regulating viscera,suppressing yang,and astringing yin.On this theoretical basis,Professor Zheng Yuling created a representative prescription of Zhenjing Anshen Granules(镇静安神颗粒)which can achieve the co-regulation of the heart,liver,and kidney,tranquilizing the mind and nourishing the blood.Clinically,the selection of prescriptions and medicines needs to be considered due to factors such as different treatment stages and differ-ences in patients'constitutions.

Summary and correlation analysis of TCM syndromes in 159 elderly patients with acute myeloid leukemia

Objective:To investigate the characteristics of TCM syndromes in elderly patients with acute myeloid leukemia(AML)at the onset,and to analyze the main syndrome types and their correlation with age,percentage of bone marrow blasts,and genetic prognostic stratification.Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on 159 AML patients aged over 60 years who were diagnosed and treated in our hospital,and the clinical data were collected and analyzed statistically.Results:In 159 elderly AML patients,the main clinical symptoms were fatigue,poor appetite,conscious fever,and various hemorrhages.The main syndromes were Ying(42.01%),Wei(31.25%),Essential(14.81%)and Blood(11.69%);the syndromes are divided into Qi and Yin deficiency(32.70%),Qi and blood deficiency(30.19%),true Yin deficiency(28.03%)and Qi heat and blood(8.81%).The age difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.001),and the multiple comparison results showed that the age of the Qi-blood deficiency group was younger than the true-Yin deficiency group and the Qi-Yin deficiency group;the percentage of bone marrow blasts was statistically significant in the three groups at the initial diagnosis(P<0.05),multiple comparison results showed that the percentage of bone marrow blasts in the true Yin deficiency group was higher than that in the Qi-blood deficiency group and the Qi-Yin deficiency group;the genetic prognostic stratification of the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),multiple comparisons.The results showed that the genetic prognosis of the true Yin deficiency group was poorer than that of the Qi and blood deficiency group and the Qi and Yin deficiency group.Conclusion:The most common clinical symptoms of elderly AML patients are fatigue,the disease is located in the bone marrow,and the disease is Ying,Wei,essence,and blood.With the increase in the patient's age,the TCM syndrome types tend to be more insufficiency of true Yin and deficiency of both Qi and Yin,and the prognosis of patients with insufficiency of true Yin is poor.It provides a directional scientific basis for the treatment of senile AML with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine.

Analysis on the Law of Chinese Medicine Use of Ulcerative Colitis and TCM Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment

Ulcerative colitis is a kind of inflammatory bowel disease.The disease is slow and easy to relapse.Western medicine treatment mainly focuses on symptomatic treatment,which has certain side effects on liver and kidney function.Ulcerative colitis has unique advantages in disease,so by studying a large amount of information,mainly from the law of traditional Chinese medicine use of UC,and a brief summary of the treatment of TCM syndromes,this article provide s ideas and basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment of the disease.

An overlap syndrome involving autoimmune hepatitis and systemic lupus erythematosus in childhood

We report a 12 years old female patient with an overlap syndrome involving autoimmune hepatitis （AIH） and systemic lupus erythematosus （SLE）. The patient presented with jaundice, hepatosplenomegaly, malaise, polyarthralgia, arthritis and butterfly rash on the face. Laboratory tests revealed severe liver dysfunction, Coombs positive hemolytic anemia and a positive ANA/ anti-dsDNA test. Renal biopsy showed class IIA kidney disease, while liver biopsy showed chronic hepatitis with severe inflammatory activity. The patient satisfied the international criteria for both SLE and AIH. Clinical symptoms and laboratory findings of SLE improved with high dose treatment with corticosteroids and azathioprine, however, remission of the liver disease could not be achieved. Repeat biopsy of the liver after three years of therapy revealed ongoing chronic hepatitis with high level of inflammatory activity. The present case indicates that children with liver dysfunction and SLE should be investigated for AIH. There is much diagnostic and therapeutic dilemma in patients with AIH-SLE overlap syndrome.

Research progress of diabetes treatment guided by Traditional Chinese Medicine constitutional types

Diabetes and its complications seriously affect patients’life quality,and have a major impact on individuals,families,health systems,and national economies.Traditional Chinese Medicine constitution refers to the inherent characteristics of a relatively comprehensive and stable form,structure,physiological function,and psychological state formed under the combined effects of innate endowments and acquired in the course of an individual’s life.Many studies have shown that the constitution type is closely related to the incidence of diabetes,especially in the process of disease prevention and treatment.This article reviews the correlation of diabetes and its chronic complications with constitution types to provide theoretical basis for the treatment of diabetes based on syndrome differentiation.

Pharmacodynamic advantages and characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine in prevention and treatment of ischemic stroke

Ischemic stroke(IS) is a severe cerebrovascular disease with a high incidence, mortality, and disability rate. The first-line treatment for IS is the use of recombinant tissue plasminogen activator(r-t PA).Regrettably, numerous patients encounter delays in treatment due to the narrow therapeutic window and the associated risk of hemorrhage. Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) has exhibited distinct advantages in preventing and treating IS. TCM enhances cerebral microcirculation, alleviates neurological disorders, regulates energy metabolism, mitigates infammation, reduces oxidative stress injuries, and inhibits apoptosis, thereby mitigating brain damage and preventing IS recurrence. This article summarizes the etiology, pathogenesis, therapeutic strategies, and relationship with modern biology of IS from the perspective of TCM, describes the advantages of TCM in the treatment of IS, and further reviews the pharmacodynamic characteristics and advantages of TCM in the acute and recovery phases of IS as well as in post-stroke complications. Additionally, it offers valuable insights and references for the clinical application of TCM in IS prevention and treatment, as well as for the development of novel drugs.

A Comparative Study of The Regular Pattern of Syndrome and Treatment of Lung-intestine Related Diseases in Ancient and Modern Medical Cases Based on Data Mining

Objective: To analyze the similarities and differences of the applications of "the lung and large intestine being interior-exteriorly related"between the ancient and modern clinical practices, and to reveal the theory meaning.Method: Based on the ancient and modern medical cases database, 245 ancient medical records and 373 modern medical records were studied with the general statistical description and analysis of association rules, and the results were compared to summarize the similarities and differences of the regular pattern of syndrome and treatment on lung-large intestine related diseases in ancient and modern medical records.Results: In modern medical cases, intestinal diseases appeared with the main symptom of constipation due to deficiency of lung qi and qi stagnation of large intestine were always treated by purgation together with replenishing and restoring lung qi. In ancient medical cases, large intestine heat was always caused by lung heat and a variety of diarrhea symptoms appeared. They were always treated by clearing heat and moistening lungs. In addition, the symptom of bound stool caused by qi stagnation of large intestine due to lung qi stagnation was always treated by lowering lung qi to regulate and smooth large intestine qi. And Armeniae Amarum Semen was used by both as a core medicinal herb.Conclusion: Ascending-descending of qi movement is the core of the lung and large intestine relationship. In other words, the lung and the large intestine communicate through qi.

Meeting Minutes of International Conference on Prevention and Treatment of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome with Chinese Medicine

The International Conference on Prevention and Treatment of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome （AIDS） with Chinese Medicine （CM） was held in Beijing International Hotel from October 16 to 17, 2010. It was cosponsored by Guang＇anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences （CACMS）, and the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Design of a WeChat Learning Platform for Syndrome Differentiation

Objective To design a WeChat mini program called Chinese Syndrome Differentiation Learning Platform(CSDLP)on smartphone to improve health literacy.Methods The developer tools of WeChat(Version:v1.01.170925)were used for designing and debugging the mini program.SPSS17.0 was used for statistical purposes.“View container”“Basic content”“Form component”“Navigation”and“Media components”were used for the development of the WeChat mini program.The detailed method was referred to https://mp.weixin.qq.com/debug/wxadoc/dev/.Results A WeChat mini program called CSDLP was developed.This program has three major functions which are WeChat reading,WeChat class and WeChat syndrome differentiation.The official test report showed that there were no functionality errors for the seven android smartphones(referred to as A,B,C,D,E,F and G)that CSDLP was tested on.Statistical analysis results showed that the average memory in D,E,F and G was lower than in A,B and C.Average ratio was the highest in F and the lowest in G.The average loading time was the same for all smartphones.The audio database for diagnostics using traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and a lecture video database were based on diagnostic textbook.Our team built a syndrome differentiation database which included 51 diseases.Conclusion CSDLP can improve knowledge visualization,studying process,and information sharing in terms of the training and development of new techniques for syndrome differentiation and treatment in TCM,and it can provide a better illustration for people to understand TCM.
