After treatment, the serum gastrin, urinary D - xylose excretory rate and T cell subgroups in patients with spleen deficiency have been greatly improved as compared with those before treatment in two groups (P< 0.01 or 0.05). Comparing the changes of the indexes between treatment group and control group, there were significant(P<0.05), or markedly significant(P<0.01) differences. It indicated that the medicinal moxibustion could improve the secreting and absorbing functions of digestive tract and the cellular immune function in patients with spleen deficiency.展开更多
In the present study, the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) on immune system was observed in the rat by using micro- whole blood direct immunofluorescence staining assay to detect changes of the peripheral blood T lym...In the present study, the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) on immune system was observed in the rat by using micro- whole blood direct immunofluorescence staining assay to detect changes of the peripheral blood T lymphocyte subgroup and employing red blood cell (RBC) C 3b receptor- yeast rosette test and red blood cell-IC rosette test to analyze erythrocytic immune function. Results showed that after EA of “Zusanli" (ST 36), CD+ 4, RBC-C 3bRR and RBC-ICR in the peripheral blood of the normal rats increased significantly while CD+ 8 had no any considerable changes and a positive correlation between CD+ 4 and RBC-C 3bRR was found. In immunosuppression model rats, the values of CD+ 4 and RBC-C 3bRR were obviously lower than those of the normal control group while CD+ 8 had no any striking changes; but after EA treatment, there were no evident differences between EA group and normal control group in the above-mentioned indexes. There were also no any significant differences between non-acupoint group and normal control group in those indexes. Results suggest that EA of “Zusanli" (ST 36) can raise T cell immune function and RBC adhesion function in both normal rats and immunosuppression model rats, both of which present a positive correlation.展开更多

As a first step in method development, we inserted the avian leukosis virus subgroup A (ALV-A) env gene into plasmid pcDNA3.1/Zeo (+) and used this construct to transfect DF-1 cells. Zeocin-resistant cells were obtained after 2 weeks of zeocin selection. Then, the cells were analyzed using PCR, immunofluorescence, and Western blot for expression of the envA-encoded envelope protein after 30 serial passages. The DF-1/A cell line was completely resistant to 104 TCIDso/0.1 mL (50% tissue culture infective dose)ALV-A and was partially resistant to 10~ TCIDs0/0.1 mL ALV-A viral particles. By comparing the DF-1/A and DF-1 cell lines, an ALV-A isolate was identified using a gag-specific ELISAfor capsid protein p27. Thus, we established a DF-1/A cell line that was resistant to ALV-A infection. This cell line will be useful as a diagnostic tool.展开更多

Methods Enzyme linked immnunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to determine the content of IL-2 and sIL-2R. The immunoadsorption was employed to examine the erythrocytic immune activity and its regulating function. Streptavidin-peroxidase(S-P) was used to determine the cell number of CD3 (cluster of differentiation3), CD4 and CD8. Results The content of IL-2 in the group with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.01), and the content of sIL-2R increased. Red blood cell C_ 3b receptor (RBC.C_ 3b R) and RBC immune adherence enhancing factor (RFEB) dropped greatly (P<0.01), while RBC immune complex rosette (RBC.ICR) and RBC immune adherence inhibiting factor (RFIR) increased greatly. The cell number of CD3 and CD4decreased (P<0.01) and there was no obvious change in CD8 (P<0.05). Conclusion The decrease of immune function was observed in patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage. Antibodies detecting the formalin resistant epitopes on T- cells, B- cells and thos...Thirty- one autopsy cases previously diagnosed as malignant histiocytosis (MH) were studied by means of immunohistochemical staining. Antibodies detecting the formalin resistant epitopes on T- cells, B- cells and those of histiocyte/monocyte origin were used. It was shown that the malignant histiocytes reacted only to the cell markers derived from histlocyte/monocyte. and only a part of lymphocytes showed positive reaction to the T and B cell markers. It is suggested that the histiocyte/monocyte lineage is the possible origin of the malignant proliferating cells in MH. The clinicopathological features and the differentiation of MH from familial erythrophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, virus-associated hemophagocytic syndrome and malignant lymphoma are described. The pathogenesis. the causes of death and the points for attention in the treatment of MH are also discussed.展开更多
Objective:To investigate the changes of T cell subsets, T cell cytokine and immunoglobulin in patients with oral cancer before and after operation.Methods:A total of 40 cases of oral cancer treated in our hospital fro...Objective:To investigate the changes of T cell subsets, T cell cytokine and immunoglobulin in patients with oral cancer before and after operation.Methods:A total of 40 cases of oral cancer treated in our hospital from January 2017 to December 2017 were selected as the observation group, and 40 healthy volunteers in our hospital were selected as the control group. The levels of T cell subsets, T cell cytokine and immunoglobulin in the observation group before and after operation were detected and compared with those in the control group.Results:The CD3+, CD4+ and CD4+/ CD8+ of the observation group before operation were lower than those of the control group, and CD8+ was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant. The CD3+, CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ after operation in the observation group were (64.98 ± 3.88)%, (42.40 ± 3.53)% and (1.56 ± 0.41) respectively, which were all higher than those before the operation, but still lower than those in the control group. The CD8+ of the observation group was (27.25 ± 3.54)% lower than that before operation, but it was still higher than that of the control group. In the observation group, the levels of INF-γ+, CD4+/INF-γ+, IL-2+, and CD4+/IL-2+ before operation were lower in the observation group than those in the control group. In the observation group, INF-γ+, CD4+/INF-γ+, IL-2+, and CD4+/IL-2+ after surgery were (0.15±0.06)%, (0.07±0.03)%, (0.47±0.13)%, (0.16 ± 0.11)%, were higher than those before surgery, but still lower than those in the control group. The IgA and IgG before and after the surgery in the observation group were (2.01±0.13) g/L, (1.81±0.12) g/L, (10.53±3.12) g/L, and (8.41±2.01) g/L, respectively, compared with the control group, the difference was statistically significant. There was no significant change in IgA, IgG and IgM in the observation group before and after operation.Conclusion:Surgery can effectively improve the T lymphocyte subsets and T cell cytokine levels in oral cancer patients, and has a positive effect on improving immune function.展开更多
