In the 19^(th) National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping mentioned that a nation will prosper only when its young people thrive, indicating the significance of the education of young people. Regarding English education of young people, however, there is still a universal phenomenon of dumb English. This article focus on the task-based language teaching approach to study teaching English through tasks and activities in the young learners' classroom, in order to improve their English communicative abilities.展开更多
