Mega-Constellations Based TT&C Resource Sharing: Keep Reliable Aeronautical Communication in an Emergency

With the development of the transportation industry, the effective guidance of aircraft in an emergency to prevent catastrophic accidents remains one of the top safety concerns. Undoubtedly, operational status data of the aircraft play an important role in the judgment and command of the Operational Control Center(OCC). However, how to transmit various operational status data from abnormal aircraft back to the OCC in an emergency is still an open problem. In this paper, we propose a novel Telemetry, Tracking,and Command(TT&C) architecture named Collaborative TT&C(CoTT&C) based on mega-constellation to solve such a problem. CoTT&C allows each satellite to help the abnormal aircraft by sharing TT&C resources when needed, realizing real-time and reliable aeronautical communication in an emergency. Specifically, we design a dynamic resource sharing mechanism for CoTT&C and model the mechanism as a single-leader-multi-follower Stackelberg game. Further, we give an unique Nash Equilibrium(NE) of the game as a closed form. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed resource sharing mechanism is effective, incentive compatible, fair, and reciprocal. We hope that our findings can shed some light for future research on aeronautical communications in an emergency.

Factors Influencing Patients to Decide to Discharge Themselves against Medical Advice at Tertiary Hospitals: A Cross-Sectional Study

Background: Discharged against medical advice (DAMA) is defined as any instance when a patient wants to leave the hospital against the managing physician’s decision. This study aimed to identify factors that influence patients to decide to be DAMA. Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional study. The study was conducted in the emergency department (ED) of King Fahad Medical City (KFMC)-Saudi Arabia-Riyadh city. A questionnaire in both Arabic and English was distributed to all participants to fill in either English or Arabic. Results: Between 1 March and 30 April 2021, 510 responses were collected. Most of the study participants (31.4%) were over the age of 54. Our findings showed that 12.5% of our participants had taken discharge against medical advice in the past. Results Regarding Factors That Influence Patients to Decide on DAMA Showed: Regarding Inappropriate behavior and disrespect of the physician or staff to the patient and his relatives, 262 (51.4%) participants, 85 (16.7%) participants, and 163 (32%) participants agreed, neutral, and disagreed, respectively. Regarding the Lack of physicians’ and nurses’ attention to the patient and his relatives (emotionally), our result showed that 278 (54.5%) participants, 95 (18.6%) participants, and 137 (26.9%) participants agreed, neutral, and disagree, respectively. Regarding failure to inform the patient or his relatives of his condition, it showed that 257 (50.4%) participants, 95 (18.6%) participants, and 158 (31%) participants agreed, neutral, and disagreed, respectively. Regarding feeling better from DAMA, our result showed 226 (44.3%) participants, 119 (23.3%) participants, and 165 (32.4%) participants agreed, neutral, and disagreed, respectively. Regarding patients’ or their relative’s tiredness of hospital stay, the result showed that 166 (32.5%) participants, 104 (20.4%) participants, and 240 (47.1%) participants agreed, neutral, and disagreed, respectively. Conclusion: The long wait time to be seen by a physician was the major factor that forced patients to leave the emergency department against medical advice.

Online Peer Advice: Giving Advice on Chinese Social Networking Sites

This study investigates advice-giving in peer-to-peer comment sections on Chinese social networking sites. The results show that advice, explanation, experience, and assessment are the four most frequent discursive moves in Chinese advice given by peers on social networking sites. Involvement, mitigation, and face-threatening strategies are also utilized frequently by those peers to give directives and express empathy and solidarity on Chinese online sites, thereby building supportive relationships among them in online communities. The online peer advice-giving in this study is influenced by multiple aspects of the platform, participants, and language use, presenting distinctive characteristics that differ from other studies.

TT&C测控资源调度是一个涉及卫星、测控站以及调度准则等多方面因素的复杂优化问题。针对这一优化问题,根据测控调度的一般原则和优化准则,建立了相应的优化模型,并给出了基于遗传算法求解该问题的方法和步骤;最后,通过两个示例分析,演示验证了该方法对于解决一般测控调度问题的有效性。

带局部交互的多星TT&C调度合作协同进化

针对现有合作协同进化机制较少利用局部协同信息的问题,通过对多星TT&C资源调度的合作协同进化求解进行改进,在全局协同的基础上加强局部交互,为每个个体设定一个表明其与所有相邻子种群合作效果的进化性能指标——局部交互值,将该值作为选择操作中衡量个体优劣的尺度之一,以局部交互值与各子适应度之和的差值决定个体变异率,使变异具有自适应性,从而减少由子种群代表个体选择的非全局性造成的优秀个体丢失现象。仿真实验结果表明该方法能较好地提高求解质量。

航天TT&C调度的拉格朗日松弛策略

根据航天遥测、跟踪和指挥(TT&C)调度的测控需求,建立航天测控调度问题的0-1整数规划模型,运用(λ,ν)、(μ,ν)和(λ,μ)3种策略对模型中的约束进行松弛,通过次梯度优化算法求得每种松弛问题的上界。利用2个场景验证上界(目标函数值)的有效性,调度结果表明,3种松弛策略中以次梯度优化算法得到的上界差别最小。

A rapid advice guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of 2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV) infected pneumonia(standard version)

In December 2019, a new type viral pneumonia cases occurred in Wuhan, Hubei Province;and then named "2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV)" by the World Health Organization(WHO) on 12 January 2020. For it is a never been experienced respiratory disease before and with infection ability widely and quickly, it attracted the world’s attention but without treatment and control manual. For the request from frontline clinicians and public health professionals of 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia management, an evidence-based guideline urgently needs to be developed. Therefore, we drafted this guideline according to the rapid advice guidelines methodology and general rules of WHO guideline development;we also added the first-hand management data of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. This guideline includes the guideline methodology, epidemiological characteristics, disease screening and population prevention, diagnosis, treatment and control(including traditional Chinese Medicine), nosocomial infection prevention and control, and disease nursing of the 2019-nCoV. Moreover, we also provide a whole process of a successful treatment case of the severe 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia and experience and lessons of hospital rescue for 2019-nCoV infections. This rapid advice guideline is suitable for the first frontline doctors and nurses, managers of hospitals and healthcare sections, community residents, public health persons, relevant researchers, and all person who are interested in the 2019-nCoV.

Beamforming of Whole Airspace Phased Array TT&C System Based on Linear Subarrays

The whole airspace phased array telemetry,track and command(TT&C)system is regarded as the development tendency of next generation TT&C system,and the distribution of the antenna units and the beamforming technology have sparked wide interest in this field.A method for antenna distribution is proposed based on the linear subarrays technology.A symmetrical truncated cone conformal array is composed of the linear subarrays placed on the generatrix.The impact of truncated cone bottom radius and elevation angle on beamforming are studied and simulated.Simulation results verify the system design.

Nutrigenetics, Nutrigenomics, and the Future of Dietary Advice

Our individual metabolic phenotype is the result of the interaction between nutrients and DNA to modify gene expression. This is a combination of epigenetic interactions whereby nutrients modify the structure of DNA to affect gene expression as well as individual genetic variation that alters our response to diet. Our metabolic phenotype is influenced by developmental plasticity, imprinting in early life and interactions with environmental factors over time. Unlike the human genome which is relatively fixed and stable throughout the body, the human metabolic phenotype is far more complex and dynamic, varying over time and among cells and varying greatly from person to person. Dietary recommendations are often generalized and intended to avert chronic illnesses such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. In a climate where we are striving for personalisation of healthcare maybe we need a simpler approach;one that embraces genetic variation yet focuses on the optimum nutritional benefit of dietary components.

Networked TT&C for Mega Satellite Constellations:A Security Perspective

Satellite constellations are promising in enabling the global Internet.However,the increasing constellation size also complicates tracking,telemetry and command(TT&C)systems.Traditional groundbased and space-based approaches have encountered significant obstacles due to,e.g.,the limited satellite visible arc and long transmission delay.Considering the fast development of intersatellite communications,synergy among multiple connected satellites can be exploited to facilitate TT&C system designs.This leads to networked TT&C,which requires much less predeployed infrastructures and even performs better than traditional TT&C systems.In this paper,we elaborate system characteristics of networked TT&C compared with traditional ground-based and spacebased TT&C,and propose the unique security challenges and opportunities for networked TT&C,which includes secure routing and trust mechanisms.Furthermore,since networked TT&C is a novel scenario with few relevant researches,we first investigate the current researches on secure routing and trust mechanisms for traditional terrestrial and satellite networks,and then accordingly deliver our security perspectives considering the system characteristics and security requirements of networked TT&C.

A Specific Pattern in the Basal Body Temperature Chart during the First Week of Pregnancy May Warn of a Miscarriage Crisis

We studied the efficiency of acupuncture for patients who were unable to give birth though they had experienced conventional infertility treatment for more than 2 years by medical specialists. We then investigated characteristics of difficult pregnancy cases with measurement of body temperature and observation of basal body temperature (BBT) charts. Thirty-three patients had acupuncture every week for more than 2 years and 17 of them delivered. At the same time, their cutaneous body temperature was measured at five locations. Moreover, patients and acupuncturists had a weekly discussion of the patient’s BBT chart. The delivery group showed more balanced and higher cutaneous body temperatures than the miscarriage and no pregnancy groups. The delivery group showed a smooth increase in the BBT chart while the miscarriage group showed a specific pattern in shifting temperatures from low to high zones. Acupuncture might suppress excess sympathetic dominance, which induced hyperthermia as well as interruption of pregnancy. Additionally, weekly discussion and medical advice could help patients. However, further study of males, healthy women, or larger, comparative studies exploring the social and cultural background of other countries were needed to add support to these factors.

医嘱点评对肿瘤患者抗菌药物MCNEI管理模式的成效

目的通过对某院住院肿瘤患者抗菌药物进行医嘱点评,验证抗菌药物“监测(monitoring)-点评(comment)-通报(notification)-宣教(education)-改进(improvement)”(MCNEI)管理模式的短期成效。方法逐月随机抽取该院肿瘤相关科室2021年4—9月含抗菌药物医嘱的住院肿瘤患者病历共330份,根据《医院处方点评管理规范(试行)》分析住院患者用药的合理性,并提供改进措施。结果2021年4—9月该院肿瘤患者抗菌药物合理应用总体合格率逐月上升,分别为48.00%、56.67%、81.25%、88.33%、83.33%、88.00%(P<0.01)。结论积极开展抗菌药物MCNEI管理模式,对肿瘤患者抗菌药物医嘱点评并干预,可显著提高肿瘤患者抗菌药物临床应用的合理性。

Method to Realize TT&C of Spacecraft In-Orbit from Ground-Based to Space-Ground-Based Mode

Currently, TT&C of spacecraft is performed by a ground system. Because more and more spacecrafts are launched into orbits, it is difficult for the ground system to meet the TT&C requirements of the spacecrafts. To explore a new, effective and economical TT&C mode is absolutely necessary. A method is proposed to use SGBM mode in TT&C spacecrafts in low earth orbits, here. Firstly, the principle of the mode is discussed; secondly, the system to simulate the mode is designed; thirdly, the relative issues to use the mode are indicated; fourthly, the experimental results (simulation) to apply the mode to TT&C spacecrafts are analyzed; and finally dawn is the main conclusion of the method.

Effect of Medical Advice for Diet on Diabetes Self-Management and Glycemic Control for Haitian and African Americans with Type 2 Diabetes

Adequate care of type 2 diabetes is reflected by the individual’s adherence to dietary guidance;yet, few patients are engaged in diabetes self-care at the recommended level, regardless of race/ethnicity. Few studies on the effect of dietary medical advice on diabetes self-management (DSM) and glycemic control have been conducted on Haitian and African American adults with type 2 diabetes. These relationships were assessed in total of 254 Blacks with type 2 diabetes (Haitian Americans = 129;African Americans = 125) recruited from Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, Florida by community outreach methods. Although dietary advice received was not significantly different between the two Black ethnicities, given advice “to follow a diet” as a predictor of “using food groups” was significant for Haitian Americans, but not for African Americans. Haitian Americans who were advised to follow a diet were approximately 3 times more likely to sometimes or often use food groups (or exchange lists) in planning meals. Less than optimal glycemic control (A1C > 7.2) was inversely related to DSM for African Americans;but the relationship was not significant for Haitian Americans. A one unit increase in DSM score decreased the odds ratio point estimate of having less than optimal glycemic control (A1C > 7.2%) by a factor of 0.94 in African Americans. These results suggest that medical advice for diet plans may not be communicated effectively for DSM for some races/ethnicities. Research aimed at uncovering the enablers and barriers of diet management specific to Black ethnicities with type 2 diabetes is recommended.

Health-Related Internet Information Both Strengthens and Weakens Parents’ Potential for Self-Care—A Mixed-Methods Study on Parents’ Search Patterns

Background: Today’s parents belong to the digital generation and regularly use the Internet as a source of information. Parents’ quests for health-related online information comprise an effort to manage symptoms of illness or address questions about child development which may be an expression of self-management or self-care. Purpose: This study aims to describe health and child development related Internet search patterns used by parents of children ages zero to six, and further, how the obtained information was used in contacts with Child Health Care. Design and Methods: A two-step mixed- method approach is used in this study, comprising both a quantitative and a qualitative approach. First, a questionnaire was distributed to parents (n = 800) at 13 health centers in a medium sized county in Sweden. Second, one narrative interview with two parents total was conducted. Descriptive and non-parametric statistics were calculated, and qualitative manifest content analyses were performed. Results: A total of 687 completed the questionnaire, which corresponds to a response rate of 86%. The results show that 97% used the Internet for health-related and developmental child issues. The results show that parents often look at basic tips and the Internet is seen as a fast and accessible forum to obtain information. Parents often initiated their Internet searches using Google search for the specific subject, but the most common and most used website (used by 95% of parents), was the Swedish health site 1177.se. 98.4% of parents evaluated the general information searches they made on the Internet as reliable despite only 31% of the parents checking to see if the websites they used were scientifically based. Parents (81.7%) stated that they wanted their Child Health Nurses (CHN) to give them recommendations for valid websites. Conclusions: The results in this study show that, on the one hand, the Internet could strengthen parental knowledge (support self-care capacity), but, on the other hand, the found information could worry them and increase their anxiety—negatively affected self-care capacity. The parents suggested that the information should be double-checked to establish trust and develop self-care knowledge. Having a good resource to rely on, such as personal contact with a CHN, or using reliable websites seems to strengthen and reassure parents.
