To enhance the quality of such images, this work proposes a new hybrid λ2-λ0 penalty model for image dehazing. This model performs a weighted fusion of two distinct transmission maps, generated by imposing λ2 and λ0 norm penalties on the approximate regression coefficients of the transmission map. This approach effectively balances the sparsity and smoothness associated with the λ0 and λ2 norms, thereby optimizing the transmittance map. Specifically, when the λ2 norm is penalized in the model, an updated guided image is obtained after implementing λ0 penalty. The resulting optimization problem is effectively solved using the least square method and the alternating direction algorithm. The dehazing framework combines the advantages of λ2 and λ0 norms, enhancing sparse and smoothness, resulting in higher quality images with clearer details and preserved edges.展开更多

The method is applied to the problem of power calculations for the score test of heteroscedasticity in European rabbit data (Ratkowsky, 1983). Simulation studies are presented which indicate that the asymptotic approximation to the finite-sample situation is good over a wide range of parameter configurations.展开更多

The values of ln γ i 0 of solute elements in liquid copper at 1273 K were obtained. The results obtained show that the coincidence rate of sign (positive or negative) was 90% for the calculated and experimental values, which were basically in the same magnitude.展开更多

Through analyzing the study of 30 groups of 0-1 knapsack problem from discrete coefficient of the data, we can find that dynamic expectation model can solve the following two types of knapsack problem. Compared to artificial glowworm swam algorithm, the convergence speed of this algorithm is ten times as fast as that of artificial glowworm swam algorithm, and the storage space of this algorithm is one quarter that of artificial glowworm swam algorithm. The data samples in 48 years( accounting for about 80% of total number of samples)was as the training set of a model, and the training accuracy rate of the model was 95. 83%. The data samples in the remaining 14 years( accounting for about 20% of total number of samples) were used as the test set of the model to test the model, and the test accuracy of the model was 85. 71%. The results showed that the prediction model of number of rainstorm days in summer constructed by C5. 0 algorithm had high accuracy and was easy to explain. Moreover,it is convenient for meteorological staff to use directly. At the same time, this study provides a new idea for short-term climate prediction of number of rainstorm days in summer.展开更多

Many research works show the potential of biodiesel as a substitute for conventional gasoil. Mainly, previous and recent researches have focused on experimental investigation of diesel engine performance fuelled by biodiesel. Researches on the mathematical description of diesel engine process running on biodiesel are scarce, and mostly about chemical and thermodynamic description of the combustion process of biodiesel rather than performance studies. This work describes a numerical investigation on the performance analysis of a diesel engine fuelled by palm oil biodiesel. The numerical investigation was made using a semi empirical 0D model based on Wiebe’s and Watson’s model which was implemented via the open access numerical calculation software Scilab. The model was validated first by comparing with experimental pressure and performance data of a one cylinder engine at rated speed and secondly by comparing with a six cylinders engine performance data at various crankshaft rotational speeds. Simulations were then made to analyze the engine performance when running on biodiesel. The calculations were made at constant combustion duration and constant coefficient of excess air. Results showed that the model matches the overall experimental data, such as the power output and peak cylinder pressure. The ignition delay was somehow underestimated by the model for the first experiment, which caused a slight gap on in cylinder pressure curve, whereas it predicted the average ignition delay fairly well for the second set of validation. The simulations of engine performance when running on biodiesel confirmed results obtained in previous experimental researches on biodiesel. The model will be further investigated for engine control when shifting to biodiesel fuel.展开更多
