明代孝穆皇太后李唐妹是我国瑶族出身的唯一一位皇太后,是广西少数民族出身的唯一一位皇太后。她的传奇式生平已被两广地区学者多有研究。通过以求实的角度对已有研究成果作梳理评价,重点探讨研究这位瑶族传奇式女性对促进瑶族传统文化研究、姓氏和籍贯文化研究、瑶族地区文化旅游研究、明代宫廷政治研究四个方面的重要意义。
