Research and Practice of Hybrid Teaching for Software Testing based on Interactive Learning

To address the problems of insufficient number of personalized exercises and cases and teachers’lack of grasp of students’weak knowledge points in the current software testing online courses,we study the strategy of establishing and updating intelligent exercise sets and case libraries and analyze the answers and dig out the weak points of knowledge through group intelligence reasoning and interactive machine learning methods.This will help teachers to make uniform and targeted explanations,reduce manual judgment,and achieve intelligent teaching quality reform,and implement the educational concepts of“keeping up with the times”and“teaching according to students’abilities”.

Perception and attitude of theatre staff to preoperative HIV testing at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital

Objective:To elucidate the awareness and approach to pre-operative human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) testing and emphasis on the attendant components of HIV testing.Methods: The study was conducted at the theatres of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital among 123 nursing,anaesthetic,and operating staff.A descriptive cross sectional design was adopted with stratified sampling.The study instrument was a structured,self administered pro forma.Results:All respondents were all aware of HIV infection and all had transmission through infected blood and tissues(100.0%).88.6%had infection through needle stick injuries, 62.6%through vertical transmission,and 98.4%through blood transfusion.Sixty three percent of respondents correctly knew what preoperative testing was,while 58.5%were aware of the preoperative testing policy of the hospital.All respondents favoured the policy of preoperative testing.Attitudinal values to seropositive patients were not very different as 72.4%of respondents claimed they treated every patient as high risk,and all respondents used personal protective equipment.Conclusions:Routine HIV testing now represents a conventional means providing patients with knowledge of their HIV status.Such testing should be accompanied by informed consent,counselling,confidentiality,protection,and access to treatment.

The Application of Itest Paperless Test System in College English Teaching

A Study on Washback Effect of CET-6 Translation Test Towards College English Teaching and Learning

CET-6 is a nationwide and standardized test to evaluate college students' English levels. Now more than 10 million college students take part in the exam every year. On August 14, 2013, the CET-4 and CET-6 examination committee reformed the structure of the CET-6 papers. After that the sentence translation was changed into paragraph translation,the scores of translation section also increased to 15 points which is more difficult and more important than before. There is no doubt that CET-6will exert a great impact on the teaching and learning of College English in China. This thesis focuses on the washback effect of CET-6 translation test towards college English teaching and learning.First of all, this paper introduces the CET-6 translation test requirements, and the score requirements of translation part. The author also illustrates some significant language testing research of both domestic and foreign scholars, and explains the concept of reliability and validity. Secondly, through the survey method of interviews and questionnaire the author study the characteristics of teaching in college classroom, the effect of translation teaching, and how do students to study translation. The author makes a further research on the interaction between the translation test and the teaching and learning based on the relevant theories. At last, the author finds that the negative washback effect of the CET-6 translation test is greater than the positive one. The author reflects on the current translation teaching and learning in China, and hopes to minimize the negative effects of CET-6 translation test.

Measurement of bullet impact conditions using automated in-flight photography system

Knowledge of impact conditions is critical to evaluating the terminal impact performance of a projectile.For a small caliber bullet,in-flight velocity has been precisely measured for decades using detection screens,but accurately quantifying the orientation of the bullet on a target has been more challenging.This report introduces the Automated Small-Arms Photogrammetry(ASAP)analysis method used to measure,model,and predict the orientation of a small caliber bullet before reaching an impact surface.ASAP uses advanced hardware developed by Sydor Technologies to record a series of infrared digital photographs.Individual images(four orthogonal pairs)are processed using computer vision algorithms to quantify the orientation of the projectile and re-project its precise position and orientation into a three-dimensional muzzle-fixed coordinate system.An epicyclic motion model is fit to the measured data,and the epicyclic motion is extrapolated to the target location.Analysis results are fairly immediate and may be reviewed during testing.Prove-out demonstrations have shown that the impact-angle prediction capability is less than six hundredths of a degree for the 5.56 mm ball round tested.Keywords:Yaw,Terminal ballistics,Exterior ballistics,Test&evaluation,Computer vision,Image processing,Angle of

利用Optisystem实现了FBG光纤传感磁场测试系统。基于马赫曾德干涉原理,搭建了光纤光栅仿真模型及模型中的参数设置,并通过探测光路与参考光路的对比实现了对模拟磁场的测试。仿真结果表明,建立的FBG光纤传感磁场测试系统具有良好的可靠性,Optisystem适合光纤传感系统课程实验。

Investigating the Relationship Between Teaching Approach and Language Learning Motivation of College English Classrooms in China

The study was aimed at exploring the relationship between teaching approach and students'learning motivation.The participants were two college English teachers and their fixed group of students.The research lasted 16 weeks.The instruments used in the study were Attitude/Motivation Test Battery(AMTB) and classroom observation.Analyzing by the mean of the AM TB result,researchers got the popular tendencies of students'learning motivation level every four weeks.Comparing the change of students'learning motivation level and teacher participants'frequency of using the recommended teaching approach,this arti cle intends to achieve two purposes:1) Is students'learning motivation related to their teachers'teaching approach? 2) Among the approach recommended by literature,which works the best in the colleges in China?

APPLICATION OF NONLINEAR PID CONTROLLER IN AERODYNAMICS LOADING SYSTEM

The design idea of tracking-differentiator and the nonlinear PID controllerare introduced, the applicable algorithm and its real result for distributed aerodynamicsloading control system are discussed, and the construction of the test & contro1 system arealso presented. The application shows that the nonlinear PID algorithm has the advan-tages of high reliability, short run time and strong stability.

Balanced Fertilizer Use through Soil Testing Leads to Higher Yields and Nutrient Contents of Maize Grains

Fertilizers use can be optimized through soil testing and leaf analysis. This paper deals with using soil analysis as a base for fertilizer use in maize. A field experiment was carried out in two summer seasons of 2013 and 2014 with maize (triple hybrid) in Oraby Village, Mariut sector, Alexandria, Egypt. Soil testing shows that soil was clay loam, with high Na and CaCO3 contents with high pH, low organic matter, medium P and K and low micronutrient contents (Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu), seven treatments were designed. The most promising treatment was when P and K were increased and micronutrients were added based on soil testing. This treatment resulted in the highest yield with better grain contents of protein and nutrients which indicated that soil-test based on fertilizer use was superior. Soil analysis at the end of the experiment showed higher P and K contents. This approach could be adopted for regions with similar soil conditions in other parts of the world.

English Grammar Teaching for Advanced ESL Learners in China

English majors usually have learned English for at least six years at middle school, but there are still many grammatical errors in their writing and speaking. Such errors even still remain after four-year English learning at university. Such problem has troubled many teachers teaching English Grammar. Therefore, the paper attempts to study the ways of improving English majors＇ grammatical competence. It is concluded that reform of grammar test should be carried out to guide grammar teaching and learning, error analysis should be conducted to decide what to teach, and an output-oriented approach should be employed to meet the requirements of leamers＇ future profession.

Enlightenment of the Chinese English Competence Scale on College English Teaching in Applied Colleges and Universities

Study on the Research and Application of Network Teaching Courseware in Aerobics in Colleges and Universities
