The study taking "Market Survey and Forecast" course for the pilot, makes exploration based on "flipped classroom" in the full use of network learning platform. This article is an attempt to explore the theor...The teaching of vocabulary, the basic unit of language studies, is not an easy task; it requires an understanding of linguistic theory, both micro and macro linguistics. This article is an attempt to explore the theoretical basis behind vocabulary teaching through pictures and discusses the position of linguistic theory in language teaching. While vocabulary has been considered as one aspect of language and it is basic to language study, the teaching of vocabulary includes some of the following characteristics. They are, among other things, sound production, spelling, grammar, classes, and semantics. The discussion is limited to the semantic aspect of vocabulary, especially the theory of semantics the teacher relies on. Within the study of meaning, a great many theories are recognized; these include Triangle-Semantics Theory, Componential Analysis Theory, and Theory of Language Use, e.g., Speech Acts, Sociolinguistics, Pragmatics, and Psycholinguistics. The focus in this-article, however, is on the Triangle-Semantics Theory. This article is supported with some sense data gained from teachers of English. The information is gathered by means of interview and observation in the classroom. Data analysis and interpretation of findings indicate that most teachers do not realize that they are relying on semantic theory when teaching vocabulary, the Triangle-Semantics Theory.展开更多

Most of these debates emanate from distinguished scholars like DeKeyser, Long and Ellis. This paper seeks to add to the debate the views of an emerging scholar in the field of SLA. The paper addresses the key questions related to grammar pedagogy in SLA. It discusses whether grammar should be taught and if so, when and how. More importantly, the paper points to alternative solutions to each problem related to grammar teaching. The paper explores the most current debate in the grammar teaching by evaluating the validity of the arguments advanced in the debate. The evaluation is based on the key issues going on in the debate. The paper considered the debate as a healthy one that will give a positive and appropriate way towards teaching useful grammar. The paper suggests that language instructors should take into consideration different aspects regarding; what, how, when, and why should grammar be taught. Also, the paper recommends that teaching grammar should depend on the level of the learners, therefore a good teacher should always teach based on the levels of the learners.展开更多

As a specialized course for students, CAD/CAM course is a required course for undergraduates majoring in mechanical engineering and related engineering majors and also the core technical skills to be mastered during the undergraduate study. Based on the teaching practices of CAD/CAM course, this paper tries to introduce the discussion-based method in curriculum design and the implementation of the course, and enhance the interaction between teachers and students through using new information interaction tools such as WeChat group and course homepage to stimulate students' interest, and also expand the learning space and time. Thus, the problems students have will be solved in real time. BACKGROUND With the continuous development and progress of medical technology,the position of surgical nursing in the field of clinical medicine is becoming in-creasingly prominent.As an important branch of the surgic...BACKGROUND With the continuous development and progress of medical technology,the position of surgical nursing in the field of clinical medicine is becoming in-creasingly prominent.As an important branch of the surgical field,the nursing requirements and difficulty of gastrointestinal surgery are also increasing.In order to improve the teaching quality of nursing care in gastrointestinal surgery,many educators and researchers are actively exploring new teaching methods.Among them,the teaching method case-based learning(CBL),scene-simulated learning(SSL),task-based learning(TBL),combining self-evaluation and training mode is considered as an effective method.This method aims to help students to better master knowledge and skills and improve their comprehensive quality by cultivating their self-evaluation ability.AIM To explore the practical effect of CBL-SSL-TBL combined with training mode and student self-assessment in nursing teaching of gastrointestinal surgery.METHODS Seventy-one nursing interns in our hospital from December 2020 to December 2021 were selected.According to different teaching modes,they were divided into observation group CBL-SSL-TBL combined with training mode combined with student self-assessment and control group(conventional teaching mode),of which 36 were in observation group and 35 were in control group.The results of operational skills,theoretical knowledge,nursing students'satisfaction,learning effectiveness questionnaire and teaching effect were compared between the two groups.RESULTS Compared between the two groups,the operational skills and theoretical knowledge scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups,the total satisfaction ratio of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups,the observation group was lower than the control group in the questionnaire results of learning efficacy,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups,the proportion of thinking ability,subjective initiative and understanding of theoretical knowledge in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The use of CBL-SSL-TBL combined with training mode and student self-assessment in gastrointestinal surgery nursing teaching can improve the operational skills of nursing interns,theoretical knowledge and satisfaction scores of nursing students,improve the results of learning efficiency questionnaire and teaching effect,which can be popularized in clinical teaching.展开更多

Objective:The study was aimed to assess the knowledge and attitude toward foot care and evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching program(STP)on the knowledge and attitude of patients with diabetes mellitus re...Objective:The study was aimed to assess the knowledge and attitude toward foot care and evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching program(STP)on the knowledge and attitude of patients with diabetes mellitus regarding foot care.Materials and Methods:A preexperimental research design was used in this study,which was conducted in medical-surgical wards of a secondary hospital in Northeast India,Nagaland.A total of 30 subjects were recruited by consecutive sampling technique.A closed-ended structured questionnaire and 5-point Likert scale was used to assess knowledge and attitude toward foot care.A STP was administered after which posttest was done after 24 h.Results:The majority(86.6%)of the participants in the pretest had inadequate knowledge and 80%had negative attitudes toward foot care.After STP,70%had moderately adequate knowledge and 53.3%had a positive attitude regarding foot care.The structured teaching program was effective in improving the knowledge and attitude at P<0.01 which is highly significant and there was a significant association between the pretest level knowledge and duration of diabetes at P<0.01.Conclusion:STP was effective in enhancing the level of knowledge and attitude toward foot care among diabetic inpatients.This type of interaction can be organized at regular intervals to reinforce knowledge and attitude toward foot care among inpatients.展开更多

文摘BACKGROUND With the continuous development and progress of medical technology,the position of surgical nursing in the field of clinical medicine is becoming in-creasingly prominent.As an important branch of the surgical field,the nursing requirements and difficulty of gastrointestinal surgery are also increasing.In order to improve the teaching quality of nursing care in gastrointestinal surgery,many educators and researchers are actively exploring new teaching methods.Among them,the teaching method case-based learning(CBL),scene-simulated learning(SSL),task-based learning(TBL),combining self-evaluation and training mode is considered as an effective method.This method aims to help students to better master knowledge and skills and improve their comprehensive quality by cultivating their self-evaluation ability.AIM To explore the practical effect of CBL-SSL-TBL combined with training mode and student self-assessment in nursing teaching of gastrointestinal surgery.METHODS Seventy-one nursing interns in our hospital from December 2020 to December 2021 were selected.According to different teaching modes,they were divided into observation group CBL-SSL-TBL combined with training mode combined with student self-assessment and control group(conventional teaching mode),of which 36 were in observation group and 35 were in control group.The results of operational skills,theoretical knowledge,nursing students'satisfaction,learning effectiveness questionnaire and teaching effect were compared between the two groups.RESULTS Compared between the two groups,the operational skills and theoretical knowledge scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups,the total satisfaction ratio of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups,the observation group was lower than the control group in the questionnaire results of learning efficacy,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups,the proportion of thinking ability,subjective initiative and understanding of theoretical knowledge in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The use of CBL-SSL-TBL combined with training mode and student self-assessment in gastrointestinal surgery nursing teaching can improve the operational skills of nursing interns,theoretical knowledge and satisfaction scores of nursing students,improve the results of learning efficiency questionnaire and teaching effect,which can be popularized in clinical teaching.

文摘With the reform of the New National College Entrance Examination(Gaokao),the nongraded education will become an inevitable trend.In senior high school,the traditional test-oriented education is popular.The knowledge is mainly taught by the teachers,and the students passively absorb it.This study examines a problem-oriented Socratic experiment in nongraded English teaching in senior high school.The teachers seek output from students,who respond by interpreting questions,fostering critical thinking,and enhancing problem-solving skills.This teaching experiment indicates that the Socratic method has a significant positive effect on cultivating nongraded senior high English students’critical thinking under the New National College Entrance Examination.

文摘Starting from the traditional form of“graphic”architectural education,this paper explores a teaching method of entity construction experience,instrument assistance,and digital virtual expression symbiosis symbiosis from three aspects:environmental perception,ontology perception,and extension perception.Using physical perception as a medium,and gradually rising from active perception to a comprehensive expression of visual audience perception through practical operation,it allows students to have a more comprehensive understanding of the meaning of architectural design on the basis of the“graphic”expression paradigm.

文摘Objective:The study was aimed to assess the knowledge and attitude toward foot care and evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching program(STP)on the knowledge and attitude of patients with diabetes mellitus regarding foot care.Materials and Methods:A preexperimental research design was used in this study,which was conducted in medical-surgical wards of a secondary hospital in Northeast India,Nagaland.A total of 30 subjects were recruited by consecutive sampling technique.A closed-ended structured questionnaire and 5-point Likert scale was used to assess knowledge and attitude toward foot care.A STP was administered after which posttest was done after 24 h.Results:The majority(86.6%)of the participants in the pretest had inadequate knowledge and 80%had negative attitudes toward foot care.After STP,70%had moderately adequate knowledge and 53.3%had a positive attitude regarding foot care.The structured teaching program was effective in improving the knowledge and attitude at P<0.01 which is highly significant and there was a significant association between the pretest level knowledge and duration of diabetes at P<0.01.Conclusion:STP was effective in enhancing the level of knowledge and attitude toward foot care among diabetic inpatients.This type of interaction can be organized at regular intervals to reinforce knowledge and attitude toward foot care among inpatients.

文摘Virtual simulation teaching of architecture courses is a teaching mode based on the deep integration of information technology and design class in intelligent environment.Under the background of new engineering,relying on a national virtual simulation laboratory,the exploration of green low-carbon simulation in architecture courses is of great importance for improving the dimension of scientific thinking of architecture undergraduates.In this study,based on the background of architecture curriculum construction,the practical content of the teaching reform of architecture courses based on virtual simulation was expounded from three dimensions of reshaping teaching objectives,updating teaching content and improving teaching evaluation.The practical paths of teaching reform of architecture courses were put forward under virtual simulation experiment teaching,namely building teaching teams,strengthening pilot courses,reforming teaching methods,optimizing classroom teaching content and evaluation methods,constructing practical classroom teaching form in line with the learning situation of architecture courses,building a smart learning platform,and closely combining resource construction,application and curriculum content.This study has important practical significance for optimizing and improving the teaching system of professional courses,adapting to the needs of the industry,enhancing competitiveness,and promoting the construction of first-class architecture courses.

文摘With the digital transformation of global education and China's emphasis on education digital,generative AI technology has been widely used in the field of higher education.In this paper,the development of generative AI technology and its potential in personalized learning,interactive content creation and adaptive assessment in education were introduced firstly.Then,the application case of generative AI tools in teaching content creation,scenario-based teaching content development,visual teaching content development,complex concept deconstruction and analogy,student-led application practice and other aspects in the teaching of Building Decoration Materials was discussed.Through the teaching experiment and effect evaluation,the positive influence of generative AI technology on the improvement of students'learning effect and teaching efficiency was verified.Finally,some thoughts and inspirations on the combination of educational theory and generative AI technology,the integration of teaching design and generative AI technology,and the practice cases and effect evaluation were put forward,and the importance of teacher role transformation and personalized learning path design was emphasized to provide theoretical and practical support for the innovative development of higher education.
