Analysis of Technical Intelligence of Tumor Cell Therapy Based on Patent Map

Objective To analyze the technical information in the field of tumor cell therapy in China,and to provide reference for identifying technical trends and predicting technical opportunities.Methods Based on the patent data in the field of tumor cell therapy in China,the patent map method was used to construct a scientific technical information analysis model.Then,the technical status of new drug research and development in this field was explored to identify technical opportunities.Results and Conclusion Studies have found that China’s tumor immunotherapy is in the growth stage.The technical innovation regions are mainly distributed in the east and innovative entities are enterprises.Technology hotspots are concentrated in areas such as A61P35,C12N5,and the patented technical efficacy is high.Besides,the technical research and development opportunities identified are closely related to the background in this field.To better promote the development of the industry,enterprises and research institutions should strengthen cooperation in technological innovation Meanwhile,they should pay attention to technical efficacy analysis to identify more technical opportunities,thereby effectively guiding innovation strategic decisions.

Examination of the profitability of technical analysis based on moving average strategies in BRICS

In this paper,we investigated the profitability of technical analysis as applied to the stock markets of the BRICS member nations.In addition,we searched for evidence that technical analysis and fundamental analysis can complement each other in these markets.To implement this research,we created a comprehensive portfolio containing the assets traded in the markets of each BRICS member.We developed an automated trading system that simulated transactions in this portfolio using technical analysis techniques.Our assessment updated the findings of previous research by including more recent data and adding South Africa,the latest member included in BRICS.Our results showed that the returns obtained by the automated system,on average,exceeded the value invested.There were groups of assets from each country that performed well above the portfolio average,surpassing the returns obtained using a buy and hold strategy.The returns from the sample portfolio were very strong in Russia and India.We also found that technical analysis can help fundamental analysis identify the most dynamic companies in the stock market.

Economic and Technical Analysis of a Reverse-Osmosis Water Desalination Plant Using DEEP-3.2 Software

Reverse osmosis （RO） is proved to be the most reliable, cost effective, and energy efficient in producing fresh water compared to other desalination technologies. It is the fastest-growing desalination technology with a greater number of installations around the world. The economic and technical performance of a medium-capacity RO desalination plant （2,000 m^3/day） proposed to be installed in Umm Qasr city south of Basra, Iraq is analyzed using DEEP-3.2 software created by the International Atomic Energy Agency （IAEA）. This port city is located on the Gulf shore and does not have any fresh water resources. The analysis shows that the cost of fresh water produced by this plant is US$0.986/m^3 with a good quality of fresh water （279 ppm）, which is a reasonable price for this remote area. The analysis also shows an increase in water production cost of about 12% at increased electricity price from 0.06 to 0.1 US$/kWh, 53% when the seawater salinity increased from 35,000 to 45,000 ppm, 2.5% when the seawater temperature decreased from 33 ℃ to 20 ℃, and 0.71% when the interest rate increased from 0% to 5%. Pumping fresh water from the Basra purification plant （located 175 km north of Umm Qasr） is 22.16 times the cost and 236.7% poorer quality than the fresh water produced by the RO plant.

A computational simulation study for techno-economic comparison of conventional and stripping gas methods for natural gas dehydration

In the present work,the conventional natural gas dehydration method(CDM)and stripping gas method(SGM)are technically and economically analyzed,utilizing Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Process Economic Analyzer(APEA),respectively.To optimize the CDM and SGM,the sensitivities of the water content of dry gas,reboiler duty and raw material loss are analyzed against solvent rate and stripping gas rate.The optimized processes are set to achieve a targeted value of water content in dry gas and analyzed at optimized point.The analysis shows that SGM gives 46%lower TEG feed rate,42%lower reboiler duty and 99.97%pure regenerated TEG.Moreover,economic analysis reveals that SGM has 38%lower annual operating cost compared to CDM.According to results,from both technical and economic point of view,SGM is more feasible for natural gas dehydration compared to CDM.

Technology for Coking of Heavy Crude Oil with High Acid Number

Sudan Khartoum Refinery Co. has selected a unique route featuring delayed coking of crude in connection with the highly sour and high-calcium heavy crude extracted from Sudanese oil block No. 6.The crude oil after pretreatment for calcium removal is subjected to coking for removal of acids and metals with the coker products being further processed. The crude oil extracted from Sudanese oil block No. 6contains as high as 13 mg KOH/g of crude in addition to a calcium content of 1600 ppm. This article makes an analysis on problems related with the operation of commercial delayed coking unit for processing of highly sour crude and bring forth measures to solve these problems. The liquid yield resulted from coking of crude oil can reach 82m%, and the petroleum coke can meet the quality requirement for class 3B petroleum coke.

The Role of Japanese Candlestick in DVAR Model

The decomposition-based vector autoregressive model （DVAR） provides a new framework for scrutinizing the efficiency of technical analysis in forecasting stock returns. However, its relation- ships with other technical indicators still remain unknown. This paper investigates the relationships of DVAR model with the Japanese Candlestick indicators using simulations, theoretical explanations and empirical studies. The main finding of this paper is that both lower and upper shadows in Japanese Candlestick Granger contribute to the DVAR model explanation power, and thus, providing useful information for improving the DVAR forecasts. This finding makes sense as it means that the infor- mation contained in the lower and upper shadows should be used when modeling the stock returns with DVAR. Empirical studies performed on China SSEC stock index demonstrate that DVAR model with upper and lower shadows as exogenous variables does have informative and valuable out-of-sample forecasts.

Can investors profit by utilizing technical trading strategies?Evidence from the Korean and Chinese stock markets

The idea of this study is derived from observing the profitability of stock investments following the phenomena of continuously rising(or falling)prices of stocks and continuously overbought(or oversold)signals emitted by technical indicators.We employ the standard event study approach and technical trading strategies to explore whether investors would exploit profits in trading the constituent stocks of the Korea Composite Stock Price Index 50 and Shanghai Stock Exchange 50 when the aforementioned continuous phenomena occur.We find that both the Korean and Chinese stock markets are not fully efficient;this finding may enhance the robustness of the existing literature.In addition,we reveal that contrarian strategies are appropriate for the trading stocks listed on the Korean stock market for all the cases investigated in this study.However,momentum strategies are appropriate for the Chinese stock market when continuously rising stock prices and overbought signals are simultaneously observed.These findings imply that the difference in investor behaviors between the Korean and Chinese stock markets might result in dissimilar trading strategies being employed for these two markets.

THE THEORY AND METHOD OF OPTIMUM PLANNING OF A MINING AREA

Being aimed at the vital decisive problems to be solved during.making long-term planning and overall planning of the development of coal mining areas of China, this paper presents comprehensive theories and methods for the choice of mining area optimum planning schemes by use of combining technic analysis with system simulation and system optimization.The main contents are as follows: the prediction of technic and economic indexes in the developing process of existing mining areas and new mining area, including computer simulation analysis of maximum possibility of output growth in a working mine, the effect of technic progress on productive development, and grey predictive model of the change of technic and economic indexes; the dynamic simulation model of the mining area system, including five subsystem models; mining area output, investment, economic benefit, number of workers and staff of a mining area, mining area population, and ecologic environmental dynamic change under different schemes;the 0--1 programming, the goal programming and the analytic hierarchy process for contrast analysis optimization of mining area planning schemes.

Small-Sided Games and Technical Skills in Soccer Training： Systematic Review and Implications for Sport and Physical Education Practitioners

High-level of technical skills and tactical behaviour are key factors for an optimal performance in soccer games. About the most used and innovative training methods, the small-sided games （SSGs） seem to be a worthy and valid methodology to train simultaneously many skills by reproducing several conditions of a real match. Accordingly, the aim of this study was to conduct a systematic review of the available literature to lead an improved understanding in the usefulness of SSGs for improving technical skills in soccer. To ensure a rigorous and reliable approach, the review was performed according to PRISMA （Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic review and Meta-analyses） guidelines. 1031 records were initially identified, but only 26 studies were further included in the review. Moreover, other two studies were added after a check of the bibliography of two major reviews. So, each of these studies was analysed according to the aforementioned guidelines and using inclusion criteria related to SSG and training in soccer. The current analysis provided several indications and recommendations for coaches and trainers of soccer teams in order to improve several technical skills by means of the use of SSGs. Furthermore, several evidences for using SSGs in school environment are also provided.

Riemann Hypothesis, Catholic Information and Potential of Events with New Techniques for Financial and Other Applications

In this research we are going to define two new concepts: a) “The Potential of Events” (EP) and b) “The Catholic Information” (CI). The term CI derives from the ancient Greek language and declares all the Catholic (general) Logical Propositions () which will true for every element of a set A. We will study the Riemann Hypothesis in two stages: a) By using the EP we will prove that the distribution of events e (even) and o (odd) of Square Free Numbers (SFN) on the axis Ax(N) of naturals is Heads-Tails (H-T) type. b) By using the CI we will explain the way that the distribution of prime numbers can be correlated with the non-trivial zeros of the function ζ(s) of Riemann. The Introduction and the Chapter 2 are necessary for understanding the solution. In the Chapter 3 we will present a simple method of forecasting in many very useful applications (e.g. financial, technological, medical, social, etc) developing a generalization of this new, proven here, theory which we finally apply to the solution of RH. The following Introduction as well the Results with the Discussion at the end shed light about the possibility of the proof of all the above. Flue Gas CO_2 Emission Reduction Technologies and Applications

The current status and trend of CO2 emission from coal-fired power plants in China are introduced. Main flue gas decarbonization technologies and their prospective of applications in China are discussed in two separate parts-capture and sequestration. It is stated that the selection of CO2 capture and sequestration technologies relates closely with the geographical location of power plants, with the destination of CO2 being the key. Further, it is suggested that industrialized test centers or test platforms of national or industrial level should be set up.

IS TECHNICAL ANALYSIS INFORMATIVE IN UK STOCK MARKET? EVIDENCE FROM DECOMPOSITION-BASED VECTOR AUTOREGRESSIVE(DVAR) MODEL

The paper proposes a new approach -- The decomposition-based vector autoregressive （DVAR） model to scrutinize the predictability of the UK stock market. Empirical studies performed on the monthly British FTSE100 index over 1984-2012 confirm that the DVAR model does provide informative forecasts for both in-sample and out-of-sample forecasts. Trading strategies based on the DVAR forecasts can Significantly beat the simple buy-and-hold, which demonstrates the valuable information provided by technical analysis in the UK stock market.

Stochastic Volatility Model and Technical Analysis of Stock Price

In the stock market, some popular technical analysis indicators （e.g. Bollinger Bands, RSI, ROC, ...） are widely used by traders. They use the daily （hourly, weekly, ...） stock prices as samples of certain statistics and use the observed relative frequency to show the validity of those well-known indicators. However, those samples are not independent, so the classical sample survey theory does not apply. In earlier research, we discussed the law of large numbers related to those observations when one assumes Black-Scholes＇ stock price model. In this paper, we extend the above results to the more popular stochastic volatility model.

Energy, economic and environmental performance assessment of a grid-tied rooftop system in different cities of India based on 3E analysis

India is very rich in solar energy,with a total of 3000 sunshine hours annually in most places.The installation of on-grid rooftop electricity-generation photovoltaic(PV)systems is currently undergoing substantial growth and extension as an alternate source of energy that contributes to Indian buildings.This paper analyses the viability of mounting solar PV plants in distinct cities of India in various locations with different climate conditions such as Delhi,Bhopal,Udaipur,Ahmadabad,Thiruvananthapuram,Pune and Madurai.The technical feasibility of installing a 100-kWp system is evaluated using PVsyst software under local climatic conditions.The performance ratio is between 70%and 80%,with a capacity utilization factor of 19-21%and estimated energy output of 170 MWh annually at all sites.The system produces 400-500 kWh of energy daily at a per-unit cost of INR 6-7(Indian rupees)in all locations.The lifespan of the system is~25-30 years,reducing about 150-170 tons of carbon-dioxide emission to the atmosphere every year.The payback period of the system is~5-6 years,which defines its feasibility.This information would encourage organizations and individuals to install such PV plants on the rooftops of buildings to use solar electricity for meeting the energy demands of the country.
