However,the IPTV service model has not been perfected yet after long-time trial made in a couple of Chinese cities. Selecting optimum technologies for IPTV is difficult to solve in the short term. So far most trial IPTV services in China are designed to provide a small number of local viewers with television and recorded programs. Accordingly,the technology used for the available IPTV services can hardly become a paradigm for future IPTV technology development. Therefore,with the ultimate goal of constructing a countrywide IPTV service network that can meet the requirements of commercial operation,it is necessary to conduct research into the design of countrywide IPTV network architecture,improvement of the bearer network,selection of video encoding technology,terminal structure,building of the Content Distribution Network (CDN),establishment of the open Digital Rights Management (DRM) platform,and construction of Media Asset Management (MAM) system. 展开更多

Some of the major manufacturing processes and corresponding mechanical properties of titanium clad steel plates were analyzed, and the consequences of research, manufacturing, and application of titanium clad steel plates in both markets of China and overseas were also summarized. As an economical and environmentally friendly technology, the roll bonding process is expected to become the next-generation mainstream process for the manufacturing of titanium clad steel plate. Some of the crucial and most important technical problems of this particular process, including vacuum sealing technology, surface treatment process technology, application of a transition layer, and rolling process, were discussed along with the advantageous mechanical properties and life-cycle economy of these plates processed by this technology. Finally, the market needs, application trends, and requirements of titanium clad steel plate were also considered from industries of petrochemical, shipbuilding, marine, and electric power. 展开更多

This study is a review of hydrogen station patents using the Derwent Innovation system and also a secondary screening.This was undertaken by the researchers to better understand and identify hydrogen station trends.The review focuses on analyzing the developing trends of patent technologies associated with a hydrogen station.The results of the review indicated that the countries with the major distribution of patents were Japan,China,the USA and Europe.Japan is leading the developmental trajectory of hydrogen stations.The results of the analysis found the leading developers of these patented technologies are Kobe Steel,Nippon Oil,Toyota and Honda.Other active patent developers analyzed include Linde,Hyundai and Texaco.The review concludes with a suggestion that using a patent analysis methodology is a good starting point to identify,evaluate and measure the trend in hydrogen station commercial development. 展开更多

Soil science is an inherently diverse and multidisciplinary subject that cannot develop further without the continuous introduction and promotion of emerging technologies.One such technology that is widely used in biomedicine and similar research fields,microfluidics,poses significant benefits for soil research;however,this technology is still underutilized in the field.Microfluidics offers unparalleled opportunities in soil bacterial cultivation,observation,and manipulation when compared to conventional approaches to these tasks.This review focuses on the use of microfluidics for bacteria research and,where possible,pulls from examples in the literature where the technologies were used for soil related research.The review also provides commentary on the use of microfluidics for soil bacteria research and discusses the key challenges researchers face when implementing this technology.We believe that microfluidic chips and their associated auxiliary technologies provide a prime inroad into the future of soil science research. 展开更多
