Adhere to the direction of detailization in CC technology and equipment

Since the excessive capacity in steelmaking and continuous casting at present,and the limited development margin of CC technology and equipment in scale,the further development must be made in a profound and detailized way.This paper enumerates the items of CC technology and equipment,which need to be detailized from several aspects such as roll arrangement design,equipment design and production operation,and it points out that detailization is the future direction of CC technology and equipment.The items in roll arrangement design include eliminating periodic meniscus fluctuation by adjusting space between rolls reasonably;taking special measures to avoid dangerous regions of casting speed,in order to reduce the center porosity and centerline crack of slab;optimizing the major radius and the length of outer arc of caster before straightening point to avoid dangerous region of casting speed.The items in equipment design include choosing a suitable structure of support and guiding roll according to the concrete conditions of caster;according to bulging shape of slab,thinking more about restriction of shell to bulging force, discussing the force on rollers,optimizing split roll to support slab;safety factor should be considered together with calculation method of the bearing nominal static load.The items in aspects of continuous casting operation include the delicacy division and the function-positioning of operation modes for CC machine due to the consideration of dynamic soft reduction;monitoring and controlling system of CC machine must be further detailized to improve the stability of production operation and slab quality.In addition to the three aspects mentioned above,this article points out many other items also,such as homogenization of secondary cooling of slab,quality control of surface and internal of slab,and so on.This article emphasizes,some key technologies need to be researched also,and all these researches will never stop. 展开更多

The Yamal LNG project in the Arctic area of Russia(Yamal LNG) involves many aspects including management of the project's finances, construction of LNG plants and special ships, exploration and development, liquefaction, storage, transportation, and distribution of natural gas. The project is very demanding in terms of quality, standards, and technologies required. China was chosen to carry out modular fabrication for the projects. Six Chinese offshore engineering companies were awarded with contracts to manufacture modules that weigh more than 400,000 tons. Other Chinese companies were also enlisted to provide manufacturing, production, and processing assistance along with material and equipment supplies for the project. Their involvement in the project showed to the world not just their comprehensive strength in both LNG technologies and equipment fabrication but also their potential to become a world class competitor in the petroleum engineering market, as demonstrated by their strong capacity, attractive cost, and short delivery period for module fabrication during their participation in the Yamal LNG project. 展开更多

Influence of Light Rare Earth on Toughness of Welded Seam of LAHS Steel 被引量:2

The influence mechanism of light rare earth elements, which are transited to the welding seam of low-alloy high strength (LAHS) steel through the covering of t he electrode, on the toughness of the welding seam was studied. The experimental results show that proper amount of rare earth elements can desulfurate, dehydro genate, reduce inclusions and purify the structure of the welding seam. Rare ear th element additions have the effect on welding seam and, at the same time, the transformation of side-batten ferrite is resisted while the pin-ferrite s tructure is promoted. The improvement of the toughness of the welding seam is du e to the purifying action of rare earth elements as well as their refining effec t on the structure. However, the toughness of the welding seam can decrease whe n the amount of light rare earth elements are added excessively because the crys tal grains become coarser, porosities appear and the inclusions increase as well . The experimental results show that the suitable amount of light rare earth ele ment additions is about 2%. 展开更多
