The embracing of ICTs and related technologies has enhanced different approaches for governments worldwide to deliver services to their citizens in a smart way. However, the usage of e-government services by common citizens is recognized as one of the major setbacks of e-government development in both developed and developing countries. Moreover, government agencies in these countries are facing great challenges in keeping the citizens motivated enough to continue to use e-government services. This research aims to investigate the factors that influence citizens’ trust towards continue use of e-government services in Cameroon. The proposed research model consisted of three main constructs including technological, governmental, risk factors as well as six demographic characteristics (age, gender, educational level, income, internet experience and cultural perception). A five-point Likert scale questionnaire was designed to collect data physically and electronically, 352 valid questionnaires were retrieved. Simple and Multiple regression analysis methods were applied to build an adequate model based on the verification of hypotheses proposed. Based on results obtained, four demographic characteristics (age, education, occupation and income) have influence on citizens’ trust in e-government meanwhile gender and cultural affiliation have no influence. Furthermore, technological factors and governmental factors positively influence trust level in e-government, whereas risk factors have a negative influence on trust level. Deducing from the results, a list of recommendations is proposed to the government of Cameroon in order to reinforce citizens’ trust in e-government services. 展开更多

A 10-MHz face shear (FS) square micro- mechanical resonator based on silicon-on-insulator (SO1) technology is presented in this paper. In order to examine the improvement of quality factor as well as motional resistance Rx in this structure, the center-stem anchor is employed in this study. The benefit of anchoring the square in the center, which is the nodal point, is that the energy losses through the anchor can be minimized. Hence, a quality factor value of 2.0 million and the motional resistance of 8.2 k~ can be obtained with an FS mode resonator via finite element (FE) simulation. The results show the significance of the FS mode in this design, not only in its structure but also in its square-extensional mode and Lame-mode. Additionally, an SOI-based fabrication process is proposed to support the design. 展开更多

Urban development thrives from technology inflows, which refers to the transfer of highvalue technology from various cities to local recipients. The asymmetry of technical information-rooted in the tacit knowledge inherent in technology-mandates that technology transfer is heavily dependent on interactions and communication among talented individuals. This study examines the effect of China's high-speed railway(HSR)on technology inflow, with an emphasis on talent interaction in the technology transfer process. The findings suggest that HSR mitigates cross-city commuting costs and facilitates face-to-face interactions between talent, thereby fostering an increase in technology inflows to various cities."Talent"use HSR to transfer knowledge to cities teeming with such talent resources.Concurrently, areas with robust intellectual property rights protection witness an upsurge in intercity technology transfer via HsR.This study elucidates the macro-mechanism of urban technology flow from the perspective of public transportation offering valuable insights for technology market infrastructure and services. 展开更多
