The complete time history of wall heat flux is presented with both analytical and numerical approaches. With the analytical method, the unsteady compressible boundary layer equation is solved. In the neighborhood of the initial and final steady states, the transient responses can be expressed with a steady-state solution plus a perturbation series. By combining these two solutions, a complete solution in the entire time domain is achieved. In the region in which the analytical approach is applicable, numerical results are in good agreement with the analytical results, showing reliability of the methods. The result shows two distinct features of the unsteady response. In a short period just after a sudden increase in the wall temperature, the direction of the wall heat flux is reverted, and a new inflexion near the wall occurs in the profile of the thermal boundary layer. This is a typical unsteady characteristic. However, these unsteady responses only exist in a very short period in hypersonic flows, meaning that, in a long-term aerodynamic heating process considering only unsteady surface temperature, the unsteady characteristics of the flow can be ignored, and the traditional quasi-steady aerodynamic heating prediction methods are still valid.展开更多

In this study, the gene encoding T-complex polypeptide 1(TCP-1), which belongs to the heat shock protein 60(HSP60) family, was isolated and characterized from the rice stem borer, Chilo suppressalis, by RACE and q PCR, respectively. The full-length c DNA of Tcp-1 was 2 144 bp and encoded a 1 635-bp ORF; the deduced translational product contained 545 amino acids with 5′-and 3′-UTRs and an isoelectric point of 5.29. Cluster analysis confirmed that the deduced amino acid sequence shared high identity(60–99%) with TCP-1 from other insects. To investigate Tcp-1 expression in response to abiotic stress, q PCR was used to analyze expression levels of Tcp-1 m RNA in C. suppressalis larvae exposed to temperatures ranging from –11 to 43°C. With respect to heat shock, Tcp-1 expression was higher than the control after a 2-h exposure to 30 and 36°C and declined at 39 and 43°C. Difference in Tcp-1 expression was observed at temperatures ranging from –11 to 27°C. q PCR analyses revealed that Tcp-1 expression was the highest in hindgut tissue as compared to heads, epidermis, fat body, foregut, midgut, and malpighian tubules. Our results indicated that Tcp-1 expression was differentially expressed in C. suppressalis tissues, and was impacted by temperature stress.展开更多

In this study, the catalase c DNA of Paphia textile(Pt CAT) was cloned using RTPCR and rapid amplification of c DNA ends(RACE). Pt CAT is 1 921 bp long and consists of a 5′-UTR of 50 bp, a 3′-UTR of 349 bp, and an ORF of 1 542 bp that encodes 513 amino acids with a molecular weight of 58.4 k D and an estimated isoelectric point of 8.2. Sequence alignment indicated that Pt CAT contained a highly conserved catalytic signature motif(^(61)FNRERIPERVVHAKGAG^(77)), a proximal heme-ligand signature sequence(^(352)RLFSYSDP^(359)), and three catalytic amino acid residues(H^(72), N^(145), and Y^(356)). Pt CAT also contains two putative N-glycosylation sites(^(34)NKT^(36) and ^(437)NFT^(439)) and a peroxisome-targeting signal(^(511)AQL^(513)). Furthermore, Pt CAT shares 53%–88% identity and 29%–89% similarity with other catalase amino acid sequences. Pt CAT m RNA was present in all tested organs, including the heart, digestive gland, adductor muscle, gonad, gill, and mantle, but its expression was highest in the digestive gland. High-temperature-induced stress produced two expression patterns of Pt CAT m RNA: first, an initial up-regulation followed by a down-regulation in the heart, digestive gland, and gonad and, second, consistent down-regulation in all other organs. These results demonstrate that Pt CAT is a typical member of the catalase family and might be involved in the responses to harmful environmental factors.展开更多

Shipboard observations are used to evaluate a satellite-based sea surface temperature(SST), and then find the main factors that are highly correlated with errors. Two satellite data, the first is remote sensing product of a microwave, which is a Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission Microwave Imager(TMI), and the second is merged data from the microwave and infrared satellite as well as drifter observations, which is Operational Sea Surface Temperature and Sea Ice Analysis(OSTIA). The results reveal that the daily mean SST of merged data has much lower bias and root mean square error as compared with that from microwave products. Therefore the results support the necessary of the merging infrared and drifter SST with a microwave satellite for improving the quality of the SST. Furthermore, the correlation coefficient between an SST error and meteorological parameters, which include a wind speed, an air temperature, a relative humidity, an air pressure, and a visibility. The results show that the wind speed has the largest correlation coefficient with the TMI SST error. However, the air temperature is the most important factor to the OSTIA SST error. Meanwhile, the relative humidity shows the high correlation with the SST error for the OSTIA product.展开更多

The results of correlation analysis show that the effects of SSTs on five subtropical high indexes differ in seasons and regions. The variation of SSTs mostly affects the area and intensity indexes of the subtropical high, followed by the western ridge index, and the effect on the ridge line index is more remarkable than on the north boundary index. The results of factor analysis reveals that the first common factor of SST of each season reflected mainly the inverse relation of SSTs variation between the central and eastern part of equatorial Pacific and the western Pacific, which correlates better with the subtropical high indexes in the main raining seasons than other common factors of SST. The analysis of interdecadal variation indicated that the variation of SSTs was conducive to the emergence of the La Ni?a event before the end of 1970s, such that in the summer the subtropical high is likely to be weaker and smaller and located eastward and northward. After the 1980s, the opposite characteristics prevailed.展开更多

China joined the negotiation of 1TER project and planed to develop own TBM modules in 2003. A preliminary design description document ( DDD ) for the CH HCSB ( chinese helium-cooled solid breeder ) TBM module design had been completed at SWIP in 2004. A modified structure design based on the 2004 version had been carried out subsequently. Main modification of structure design is that the sub-module design is adopted instead of the previous integrative module design. The modified design enforces the reliability and the flexibility of TBM module structure. The integral TBM module consists of 9 sub-modules. The thermo-hydraulic analysis for sub-module is very important, because the sub-module as a relative independent module has the most basic function of the test blanket module, such as depositing heat, producing tritium, etc.展开更多

[Method] The primitive cultivar Yan was the materials for replicated trials and total RNA extracted from tissues of seedlings. Re-al-time florescent quantification PCR, multiple intervals of air temperature, light-il umi-nation and time-duration were factors of treatments in the experiment. Data on gene expressions were obtained and proceed to asses and compare effects based on statistical analysis. [Result] The results showed negative correlations between tem-perature degrees and expressions of StPAL, StDFR and StR2R3-MYB genes but not StTGA. Positive correlations, however, were derived between those of StCHS, StDFR and StR2R3-MYB and light-intensity. Significant interactive effects between expressions of StPAL and StDFR and treatments, light intensity and temperature degree, along the phenylpropanoid pathway were observed. Transcription regulator of StR2R3-MYB showed significant positive effect on the expression of StCHS of potato. StTGA transcription factor, on the other hand, gave significant negative ef-fects on the expression of StDFR. [Conclusion] Results from present study reveal the role of environmental factors and complicate interactions between such condi-tions as temperature-light il umination and mRNA function of target genes.展开更多

However, these unsteady responses only exist in a very short period in hypersonic flows, meaning that, in a long-term aerodynamic heating process considering only unsteady surface temperature, the unsteady characteristics of the flow can be ignored, and the traditional quasi-steady aerodynamic heating prediction methods are still valid.

文摘The magnetic field is one of the most important parameters in solar physics, and a polarimeter is the key device to measure the solar magnetic field.Liquid crystals based Stokes polarimeter is a novel technology, and will be applied for magnetic field measurement in the first space-based solar observatory satellite developed by China,Advanced Space-based Solar Observatory. However, the liquid crystals based Stokes polarimeter in space is not a mature technology. Therefore,it is of great scientific significance to study the control method and characteristics of the device. The retardation produced by a liquid crystal variable retarder is sensitive to the temperature, and the retardation changes 0.09°per 0.10℃.The error in polarization measurement caused by this change is 0.016,which affects the accuracy of magnetic field measurement. In order to ensure the stability of its performance, this paper proposes a high-precision temperature control system for liquid crystals based Stokes polarimeter in space. In order to optimize the structure design and temperature control system, the temperature field of liquid crystals based Stokes polarimeter is analyzed by the finite element method, and the influence of light on the temperature field of the liquid crystal variable retarder is analyzed theoretically.By analyzing the principle of highprecision temperature measurement in space,a high-precision temperature measurement circuit based on integrated operational amplifier, programmable amplifier and 12 bit A/D is designed, and a high-precision space temperature control system is developed by applying the integral separation PI temperature control algorithm and PWM driving heating films. The experimental results show that the effect of temperature control is accurate and stable, whenever the liquid crystals based Stokes polarimeter is either in the air or vacuum. The temperature stability is within±0.0150℃,which demonstrates greatly improved stability for the liquid crystals based Stokes polarimeter.

文摘Many proteins require assistance from molecular chaperones at various stages to attain correctly folded states and functional conformations during protein synthesis. Our results indicated that Tcp-1 expression was differentially expressed in C. suppressalis tissues, and was impacted by temperature stress.

文摘Catalase is an important antioxidant protein that can protect organisms against various forms of oxidative damage by eliminating hydrogen peroxide. These results demonstrate that Pt CAT is a typical member of the catalase family and might be involved in the responses to harmful environmental factors.

文摘Aiming at reducing the difficulty of cooling the interior of high-density motors, this study proposed the placement of a water cold plate cooling structure between the axial laminations of the motor stator. The effect of the cooling water flow, thickness of the plate, and motor loss density on the cooling effect of the water cold plate were studied. To compare the cooling performance of water cold plate and outer spiral water jacket cooling structures,a high-speed permanent magnet motor with a high loss density was used to establish two motor models with the two cooling structures.Consequently, the cooling effects of the two models were analyzed using the finite element method under the same loss density, coolant flow, and main dimensions. The results were as follows.(1)The maximum and average temperatures of the water cold plate structure were reduced by 25.5%and 30.5%,respectively,compared to that of the outer spiral water jacket motor;(2)Compared with the outer spiral water jacket structure, the water cold plate structure can reduce the overall mass and volume of the motor.Considering a 100 kW high-speed permanent magnet motor as an example,a water cold plate cooling system was designed, and the temperature distribution is analyzed, with the result indicating that the cooling structure satisfied the cooling requirements of the high loss density motor.

文摘A summer-time shipboard meteorological survey is described in the Northwest Indian Ocean. Meanwhile, the relative humidity shows the high correlation with the SST error for the OSTIA product.
文摘With correlation analysis and factor analysis methods, the effects of preceding Pacific SSTs on subtropical high indexes of main raining seasons are discussed. After the 1980s, the opposite characteristics prevailed.

文摘The microwave radiometer (MRM) onboard the Chang' E-1 (CE-I) lu- nar orbiter is a 4-frequency microwave radiometer, and it is mainly used to obtain the brightness temperature (TB) of the lunar surface, from which the thickness, temperature, dielectric constant and other related properties of the lunar regolith can be derived. The working mode of the CE-1 MRM, the ground calibration (including the official calibration coefficients), as well as the acquisition and processing of the raw data are introduced. Our data analysis shows that TB increases with increasing frequency, decreases towards the lunar poles and is significantly affected by solar illumination. Our analysis also reveals that the main uncertainty in TB comes from ground calibration.
文摘As the ITER (international thermonuclear experiment reactor ) project is being carried out further, original parties ( EU, JA, RF ) of ITER had accomplished their ITER TBM ( test blanket module ) design in 2001. The thermo-hydraulic analysis for sub-module is very important, because the sub-module as a relative independent module has the most basic function of the test blanket module, such as depositing heat, producing tritium, etc.

文摘[Objective] Expressions of key enzymatic genes involved in phenyl-propanoid metabolic pathway in potato and StR2R3-MYB and StTGA transcripters were investigated in the present study. [Conclusion] Results from present study reveal the role of environmental factors and complicate interactions between such condi-tions as temperature-light il umination and mRNA function of target genes.
文摘A novel double-slab Nd:YAG laser, which uses face-pumped slab medium cooled by liquid with different temperatures on both sides, is proposed. The thermal distortion of wavefront caused by the non-uniform temperature distribution in the laser gain media can be self-compensated. According to the method of operation, the models of the temperature distribution and stress are presented, and the analytic solutions for the model are derived. Furthermore, the numerical simulations with pulse pumping energy of 10 J and repetition frequencies of 500 and 1000 Hz are calculated respectively for Nd:YAG laser medium. The simulation results show that the temperature gradient remains the approximative linearity, and the heat stress is within the extreme range. Then the absorption coefficient is also discussed. The result indicates that the doping concentration cannot be too large for the high repetition frequency laser. It has been proved that the high repetition frequency, high laser beam quality, and high average outp

文摘In order to expand the study on flow instability of supercritical circulating fluidized bed(CFB) boiler,a new numerical computational model considering the heat storage of the tube wall metal was presented in this paper. The lumped parameter method was proposed for wall temperature calculation and the single channel model was adopted for the analysis of flow instability.Based on the time-domain method,a new numerical computational program suitable for the analysis of flow instability in the water wall of supercritical CFB boiler with annular furnace was established. To verify the code, calculation results were respectively compared with data of commercial software.According to the comparisons, the new code was proved to be reasonable and accurate for practical engineering application in analysis of flow instability.Based on the new program, the flow instability of supercritical CFB boiler with annular furnace was simulated by time-domain method. When 1.2 times heat load disturbance was applied on the loop, results showed that the inlet flow rate, outlet flow rate and wall temperature fluctuated with time eventually remained at constant values, suggesting that the hydrodynamic flow was stable. The results also showed that in the case of considering the heat storage, the flow in the water wall is easier to return to stable state than without considering heat storage.

文摘In order to study the temperature distribution and the corresponding temperature effects on pre-stressed concrete(PC) curved box girder bridge in Shandong Province, this paper builds and adopts an automatic remote real-time temperature collection system to collect temperature data on site, and further uses the software ANSYS for analysis. Based on the comparisons between the measured data and the simulation results, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1 Our temperature monitoring system is reliable; 2 The corresponding measured data of the web plate and flange plate exposed to the sun, vary more severely than that at other positions, so these plates need higher standard design and construction requirements; 3 In the cold wave where still is sunshine, the box girder temperature effect behaves as sine-like curve.

文摘Reliable transient thermal analysis plays a very important role in the engine safety analysis.Transient conjugate heat transfer simulation is an important way of temperature analysis. But there exists a great disparity in the time scales between solid conduction and fluid convection. The calculation cost of transient conjugate heat transfer analysis is very huge because of the tiny time step of computational fluid dynamics. The Bi-Fo time scaling method is proposed to improve the computational efficiency of transient conjugate heat transfer. On the one hand, this method carries out a similar transformation on solid heat conduction, scaling the calculation time with the product of density and specific heat capacity to maintain the consistency of Fourier number. On the other hand,it takes very short time for the fluid domain to recover stability after a boundary disturbance.Based on the above characteristic, the flow time is directly compressed to the same as that of the solid domain. It is verified by Mark II vane that increasing the solid thermal diffusivity can reduce the time scale of heat conduction. In the situation of rapidly stable flow field, scaling flow time does not affect the solid thermal boundary under corresponding dimensionless time.Within the application scope, the Bi-Fo time scaling method can greatly reduce the time cost of transient conjugate heat transfer simulation while maintaining the accuracy of transient temperature analysis.
