Margaret Atwood’s works have been carried out around the problems faced by women in modern society.The Hand⁃maid’s Tale is no exception;it focuses on problems related to the female body.This paper,with the help of Foucault’s theory and feminist theories,discusses the protagonist’s resistance through the body and how this resistance develops from reading to writing.Her reading,achieved through the means of gaze,involves reading the textual materials and the subtext of the natural and social surroundings.Her writing,achieved through the means of female writing,serves as the protagonist’s most significant and effective resistance against the patriarchal dictatorship.

The Aesthetic Inheritance of the Mao Dun Literature Prize in the Flux-Take Xu Mao and His Daughters and A Tale of the Wind as Examples

The Mao Dun Literature Prize is one of the well-known literary awards in China,and in the process of selection over the years,the Mao Dun Literature Prize has developed its own aesthetic orientation.A comparison is made between the early generation of Xu Mao and His Daughters and the recent award-winning work,A Tale of the Wind,to discover the aesthetic heritage in its flux,which is enlightening for the literary criticism and an orientation for the literary creators.

Subverting the Traditional Function of Fairy Tales

Through analyzing Carter' s The Bloody Chamber and Other Stories,it is meant to expose the fact that the traditional function of fairy tales,namely the vehicle to enslave and indoctrinate children,has been subverted as a " loudspeaker" for long restrained,voiceless fe males to speak out their rights and identities,so as to dismantle the deeply-rooted patriarchy.

千穗谷TALE转录因子家族的生物信息学分析

TALE转录因子广泛存在于植物中,对植物的生长发育和对外界环境的响应发挥着重要作用。本研究在千穗谷(Amaranthus hypochondriacus)基因组中共鉴定出11个TALE基因。系统发育分析将千穗谷TALE家族蛋白分为BELL和KNOX两个亚家族,同一亚家族中的AhTALEs基因具有相似的基因结构,编码蛋白也具有类似的结构域。蛋白二级结构和三级结构分析都表明AhTALEs蛋白由螺旋-角-螺旋的结构构成。此外,对千穗谷与其他物种的TALE基因共线性关系、组织表达特性和AhTALEs基因启动子区的顺式作用元件分析发现,不同AhTALEs亚家族在各组织中的表达模式不同,并且发现启动子区包含大量非生物胁迫和激素响应元件,这为AhTALE家族的进化分析提供了依据。qRT-PCR分析发现AhTALEs基因在低温和干旱胁迫下的表达水平有不同程度的变化,表明AhTALEs基因能够响应低温和干旱胁迫应答。本研究为开展千穗谷中TALE转录因子在非生物胁迫中的生物学功能研究提供了重要参考。

On Folk Culture Translation in Tales of Hulan River from the Perspective of Deconstructionism

Since the beginning of 21 th century, promoting culture export and spreading Chinese culture have become the top priorityof China. As the main carrier of culture, excellent literary works become the best choice for Chinese culture"going out". The trans-lation of folk culture in Tale of Hulan River translated by Howard Goldblatt is analyzed from the perspective of deconstructionismwith an aim to give other translators some inspiration and enlightenment on translation of Chinese culture.

Visualization of Special Features in “The Tale of Genji” by Text Mining and Correspondence Analysis with Clustering

In this paper, visualization of special features in “The Tale of Genji”, which is a typical Japanese classical literature, is studied by text mining the auxiliary verbs and examining the similarity in the sentence style by the correspondence analysis with clustering. The result shows that the text mining error in the number of auxiliary verbs can be as small as 15%. The extracted feature in this study supports the multiple authors of “The Tale of Genji”, which agrees well with the result by Murakami and Imanishi [1]. It is also found that extracted features are robust to the text mining error, which suggests that the classification error is less affected by the text mining error and the possible use of this technique for further statistical study in classical literatures.

《泄密的心》是美国著名短篇小说家爱伦.坡的一篇恐怖故事,由于其是举世瞩目的恐怖小说,自然被无数译者所翻译,当前可寻不同译本有十余本。然而,不同的译者由于其所在时期、外语程度、思考方式、生活经验以及自身语言风格等的限制,他们在翻译过程中对词语的选择、句子结构的把握都会截然不同,表现出自己独特的语言风格。本文将选取其中四个汉译本进行比较,从而分析译者在翻译过程中所呈现的独特语言风格。

Transplantation and Borrowing: the Spread of Northwest China's Folk Tales in East Asia

The spread of northwest China’s folk tales in the Donggan region of central Asia mainly includes two aspects: First, Donggan folk tales transplanted to the northwest folk tales. As the Donggan people migrated from northwest China, folk tales from northwest China were also transplanted to central Asia. In the absence of written records, these stories also mutate as they are passed down through the mouths and ears of foreign peoples. Secondly, Donggan folk tales borrowed from northwest folk tales. Some plot units in Donggan folktales are very similar to those in northwest China, but the specific characters and plot structure of the whole story are obviously different from those in northwest China. This kind of folk stories are new stories created by Donggan people who borrowed the parent story of folk stories in northwest China and recombined it with other plots. With comparative study of folk tales, the profound cultural ties between the two places can be revealed.

The Tragedy of Man and Salvation Through Art:Marguerite Yourcenar’s Reflections on Human Condition in Oriental Tales

Written between 1936 and 1938,then continuously reworked in the following decades,Oriental Tales appeared for the first time byÉdition Gallimard in 1938 and reappeared in 1963 in a revised version.This work covers most of the ancient cultures:Greek fables,Balkan ballads,Hindu or Chinese apologues,and Japanese medieval novels.This collection of tales has a so eccentric,exotic,distant,and archaic color that the author Marguerite Yourcenar did not hesitate to name it“Oriental”.The temporal and geographical remoteness of the stories reveals no less the depth of Yourcenar’s critical considerations on the human condition in general or in concrete terms.Man,entangled in the labyrinth of the world,is doomed to tragedy.Art,such as the writing that is in the making,presents a salutary way out.

The Andersen’s fairy tales have made many research results since 20thcentury,but they mainly concentrate on its effect on children.Andersen’s Fairy Tales characterized by their"childishness",are unconsciously referred to as"kids reading".People don’t understand the real meaning of Andersen’s fairy tales.This paper attempts to regard Anderson’s Fairy Tales as a great literary work but not only a fairy tales for children to read.And do a detailed research about"the adult value"in Andersen’s fairy tales from humanitarianism in the book.The whole paper is divided into three parts.Apart from the introduction,the paper starts with a series of specific examples and analysis about humanitarianism in the book.Upon that,it carries on analysis of adult value in Andersen’s Fairy Tales based on some serious problems in nowadays society.It seeks to expound the quality and contemporary value of Andersen’s fairy tales.And it also attempts to put it into good use for guiding the adults and help to solve social problems to some degree.

The Modified God——A Gender Study of the Pluto-Proserpina Episode in "The Merchant's Tale"

"The Merchant's Tale" is one of the most intriguing tales in Medieval literary canon The Canterbury Tales. In this tale,Chaucer created the Pluto-Proserpina episode which alludes to the biblical story of God expelling Adam and Eve. Previous studies of the episode mainly focus on historical and mythological background of two pagan gods with some focusing on narrative function of the episode. Nevertheless, when examined through the lens of gender studies, Pluto and Proserpina are in effect fabricated as a substitution of God, revealing His androgyny. This article aims to analyze similarities and differences between PlutoProserpina episode, examine God's images in Holy Bible and Medieval society, and finally conclude that the modified God created by Chaucer in the Pluto-Proserpine episode unveils androgyny of God, which is a great challenge to Medieval ideology concerning God's gender.

基于特异性引物高效构建TALE文库

人工构建的转录激活因子样效应物(TALE)已广泛应用于基因转录调控和基因组编辑领域,针对TALE构建过程非常复杂,研发了一种构建TALE文库的新方法。首先,基于金门酶切连接方法,设计3种用于识别碱基G的TALE骨架质粒;其次,使用4种特异性引物扩增3种骨架质粒得到质粒突变体;最后,使用金门酶切连接方法连接3种质粒突变体,成功构建最终的TALE文库。基因测序结果表明该文库包含所有可能确定TALE-DNA结合特异性的核苷酸组。由于TALE的高靶向性和多功能性,该TALE文库将广泛用于生命科学领域。

Translation of Culture-Loaded Words in Tales of Hulan River from the Perspective of Functional Equivalence Theory

This research analyzes the culture-loaded words in English version of Tales of Hulan River bases on functional equivalence theory.The major point is what strategies Howard Goldblatt uses to achieve the equivalences in semantic message,stylistic message,cultural message and response of readers,and the reasons why he uses them.This thesis contains four chapters,starting with the background,significances and the organization of the research.Chapter two introduces Tales of Hulan River as well as Xiao Hong and Howard Goldblatt,as well as the functional equivalence theory.To analyze the translation strategies of Goldblatt,chapter three divided the culture-loaded words into three categories,which is dialect,custom and proverb respectively,in this translation work of Tales of Hulan River from the perspective of functional equivalence theory.Last one is conclusion,summarizing the whole research.This paper highlights the translating of this novel into different languages and the spreading of Chinese culture.

基于三联体和金门克隆的快速TALE模块组装技术

目的:通过降低转录激活因子样效应物(Transcription Activator-Like Effector,TALE)重复,建立新型简单快速的组装方法。方法:利用密码子的简并性,建立含64种组合的三联体非重复序列库。设计一系列PCR引物,其5’端带有Ⅱ型限制性内切酶识别序列。通过PCR扩增TALE三联体,Esp3I酶切获得DNA突出末端按顺序互补配对。所有三联体片段与TALE骨架载体混合后,用金门(Golden Gate)克隆技术进行有序组装,构建获得具有特定DNA靶向能力的TALE表达载体。结果:利用三联体,可通过一步反应实现简单快速TALE的构建,正确组装的效率高。将TALE与脱氨酶融合,再与CRISPR/Cas9系统组合成Ta C9-BE系统,在293T细胞中5个位点实现了高效的单碱基编辑。结论:结合TALE三联体库和金门克隆技术建立了一种新的TALE构建技术——Tri-GG,这种方法具有易操作、成本低、时间短的优势,为TALE在基因编辑的应用提供了一个新的技术途径。
