Education Equipment Configuration and Funding Situation Analysis of Underdeveloped Areas of Information Technology in Rural Primary and Secondary School

In order to understand IT teaching conditions and living environment in the less developed areas of rural primary and secondary school, the paper uses questionnaire survey equipment to investigate education of some rural underdeveloped areas of information technology in primary and secondary school in Jiangxi. And it has analyzed 2011-2013 investment and construction of the status quo in education funding for information technology equipment. The results show: Less Developed Areas in primary and secondary school education information and technology education equipment cannot meet the needs of the development of education with lack of funding support, poor school environment and information technology teaching conditions. And this phenomenon has been analyzed, and effective measures are to improve primary and secondary school education in underdeveloped areas of information technology conditions and educational level. 展开更多

Objective:To provide baseline information of parasitic infections in 3 suburban government schools,Lakhok subdistrict of Muang Pathum Thani,Thailand.Methods:This study was conducted between May-June 2010 using simple direct smear and modified formalin ether and from a population of 1253 in 3 suburban government schools.Results:Total samples of 202registered and participated.The average of prevalence of infection from 3 schools was 13.9%,there were 13.7%,14.3%and 13.9%in N,S and R school,respectively with no significant difference between schools(P>0.05).The infection rates did not show significant difference between gender(P>0.05).The highest rate of infection was 20.4%in Pathom 2(8 years)students and the lowest was4%in Pathom 1(7 years)with statistically difference between age groups(P<0.05).The highest prevalence of pathogenic protozoa was Giardia lamblin(G.lamblia)which was found in 50%of infected cases,followed by 25%of Entamoeba Inictolytica(E.histolytica)and Blastocystis hominis(B.hominis).The highest prevalence of non-pathogenic protozoa was Endnhmat nano(E.nana)which was found in 88.9%,followed by 11.1%of Entamoeba coli(E.coli).Mixed infections between Blastocwstis hominis(B.hominis)and Endolimax nana(E.nana)were reported at 7.1%.The only helminthic infection found in this study area was hookworm,found in 1 student(3.8%).The formalin ether concentration technique showed a higher efficacy of detection(78%-100%)than the simple direct smear method(0%-50%).Conclusions:Surveillance of protozoan infections may need to be focused on suburban areas. 展开更多

In spite of the popularity of mobile dictionaries among students, research on the effect of this app on students’language learning, especially focusing on the students from vocational school in rural area, is still scarce. So the purpose ofthe current study is probing into the effect of using mobile dictionaries on lower-intermediate students’ language learning, focusingon the students from vocational school in rural areas, in contrast to using printed dictionaries. This proposal is arranged as follows:section one presents the research background; section two reviews literatures; section three provides research problems and research design; section four presents data analysis and anticipated results. This proposal ends with conclusions. In term of researchaims, a mixed method of quantitative and qualitative will be applied with the main aim of probing the effect of using mobile dictionaries on students’ English learning and the opinions of students’on using the mobile dictionaries in English learning. Learner’s Dialect Use by EFL Instructors:A Study of Junior High School Teachers in a Minority Area of China

The use of learners’L1(first language)in the EFL classroom has been widely discussed in the literature.However,the use of local dialects has received less attention.Thus,this study investigates the use of Enshi dialect in EFL classroom in junior high schools in order to explore how teachers deploy the learners’own dialect in EFL classroom and its effect.The Enshi dialect which is a variant of Mandarin is frequently used in daily life in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.Semi-structured interviews are conducted with 15 teachers who adopt Enshi dialect in EFL classroom teaching in junior high schools in 8 minority villages in Enshi.The results indicate that occasional dialect use does exist in EFL classroom teaching for junior high school students in ethnic minority areas.In addition,four main benefits are revealed when learners use dialects in EFL classes.Teaching English by using dialect helps students to improve the mastery of English grammar,distinguish pronunciation,understand the meaning of English words,phrases and sentences,and enliven the classroom atmosphere.The research also shows that the effective use of learners’dialects in the EFL classroom plays positive roles in English learning. 展开更多

Methods Data sets of boys and girls at the... Objective To describe the nationwide prevalence of childhood overweight/obesity, and their group variations and trends over the past 20 years in the Chinese urban population. Methods Data sets of boys and girls at the age of 7-18 years collected from the series of Chinese national surveillance on students' constitution and health (CNSSCH) between 1985 and 2000 were divided into five socioeconomic and demographic groups, while BMI classification reference proposed by Working Group on Obesity in China (WGOC) was used as screening reference to calculate the prevalence and trends of overweight/obesity in these groups. Results In 2000, the prevalence of obesity and overweight in boys aged 7-18 years was 11.3% and 6.5% in Beijing, 13.2% and 4.9% in Shanghai, 9.9% and 4.5% in coastal big cities, and 5.8% and 2.0% in coastal medium/small-sized cities, respectively, while the prevalence of of obesity and overweight in girls of the same age group was 8.2% and 3.7% in Beijing, 7.3% and 2.6% in Shanghai, 5.9% and 2.8% in coastal big cities, and 4.8% and 1.7% in coastal medium/small-sized cities, respectively. The prevalence of obesity was low in most of the inland cities at an early stage of epidemic overweight. The epidemic manifested a gradient distribution in groups, which was closely related to status (SES) of the study population. However, a dramatic and steady increasing trend was witnessed among all sex-age subgroups in the five urban groups, and such a trend was stronger in boys than in girls, and much stronger in children than in adolescents. Conclusion Although China is at an early stage of epidemic obesity by and large, the prevalence of obesity in her urban population, particularly in coastal big cities has reached the average level of developed countries. The increasing trend has been rapid since early 1990s, and the increments in obesity and overweight are exceptionally high. The prospect of epidemic obesity in China is in no way optimistic. Therefore, preventive program should be focused on the improvement of the balance between caloric intake and energy expenditure, and interventions aimed at changing children's life styles. 展开更多

我国城乡高中一、二年级学生体质健康测试状况的调查研究

背景目前有关高中生体质健康测试成绩的研究以各省、市内局部地区较为多见,多中心大样本量的全域研究甚少。各类学校在普遍开展线上与线下混合式教学时,势必延长了高中生本已较长的静坐时间。这种趋势是否对高中生的体质健康产生一定的... 背景目前有关高中生体质健康测试成绩的研究以各省、市内局部地区较为多见,多中心大样本量的全域研究甚少。各类学校在普遍开展线上与线下混合式教学时,势必延长了高中生本已较长的静坐时间。这种趋势是否对高中生的体质健康产生一定的影响,亟待开展全域范围的调查研究。目的调查并分析我国七大地区城乡高中一、二年级学生的体质健康测试成绩水平及相关影响因素,探索出高中一、二年级学生的体质健康水平均衡提升的赋能路径。方法采用分层随机整群抽样方法,于2019年1—3月在我国31个省(直辖市、自治区)七大地区(华东、华南、华北、华中、西北、西南、东北)高中学校按照市区县与乡镇村进行分层抽样,然后随机整群分别选取市区县高中学校和乡镇村高中学校各1所,共62所学校42523名在读的高一、高二年级学生进行调研,同时收集学生的体质健康测试成绩数据(BMI反映身体发育水平,肺活量反映身体功能,坐位体前屈反映躯体柔韧度,引体向上、50 m跑、立定跳远反映上下肢爆发力量水平,1 min仰卧起坐反映躯体核心力量水平,800 m跑、1000 m跑反映心肺耐力水平),并运用非参数检验及多元线性回归分析探讨体质健康测试成绩水平的影响因素。结果42523名高中生的中位年龄为16.0(16.0,17.0)岁;男生20074名(47.2%)、女生22449名(52.8%),市县区21725名(51.1%)、镇乡村20798名(48.9%)。七大地区高中生性别、城乡分布比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。七大地区高中男生各项体质健康测试成绩比较,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05);各项体质健康测试成绩前三的地区如下:身高(华北>东北>华中)、体质量(东北>华北>华中)、BMI(华中>东北>华北)、肺活量(东北>华中>华南)、50 m跑(华南>华中>华东)、立定跳远(华南>华北>西北)、坐位体前屈(华南>西南>华中)、引体向上(华南>西南>西北)、1000 m跑(华南>华中>西南)。市县区高中男生的肺活量成绩高于镇乡村,50 m跑、立定跳远、坐位体前屈、引体向上、1000 m跑成绩低于镇乡村(P<0.001)。七大地区高中女生各项体质健康测试成绩比较,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05);各项体质健康测试成绩前三的地区如下:身高(华北>东北>西北)、体质量(东北>华北>西北)、BMI(东北>华北>西北)、肺活量(东北>华南>华中)、50 m跑(华南>华中>华东)、立定跳远(华南>华北>华中)、坐位体前屈(东北>华中>华南)、1 min仰卧起坐(华北>华中>华东=西南)、800 m跑(东北>华中>华南)。市县区高中女生的身高、体质量、BMI成绩高于镇乡村,肺活量、50 m跑、立定跳远、坐位体前屈、1 min仰卧起坐、800 m跑成绩低于镇乡村(P<0.001)。多元线性回归分析结果显示,男生引体向上成绩与BMI、1000 m跑成绩呈负相关,与50 m跑、立定跳远、坐位体前屈成绩呈正相关(P<0.05),坐位体前屈为最主要的影响因素,1000 m跑次之;1000 m跑成绩与BMI、肺活量、引体向上成绩呈负相关,与50 m跑、立定跳远、坐位体前屈成绩呈正相关(P<0.05),引体向上为最主要的影响因素,坐位体前屈次之。女生1 min仰卧起坐成绩与BMI、肺活量、立定跳远、800 m跑成绩呈正相关,与50 m跑、坐位体前屈成绩呈负相关(P<0.05),BMI为最主要的影响因素,坐位体前屈次之;800 m跑成绩与BMI、50 m跑、坐位体前屈成绩呈负相关,与立定跳远、1 min仰卧起坐成绩呈正相关(P<0.05),坐位体前屈为最主要的影响因素,BMI次之。结论我国市县区高中一、二年级男生的身体发育水平与镇乡村相当,但市县区高中一、二年级女生的身体发育水平高于镇乡村女生。市县区高中一、二年级学生的上下肢爆发力量、躯体核心力量、心肺耐力水平均显著低于镇乡村。除身体发育水平以外,华南地区的高中一、二年级男生的体质健康各项测试成绩水平的优势十分明显。 展开更多

超级中学垄断与城市内顶尖大学入学机会区域差异——基于北京市的实证研究

超级中学的发展壮大可能加剧城市内部顶尖大学入学机会的区域差异,不利于大型城市引导人口向郊区流动。基于对某顶尖大学A北京生源调查数据(2001—2021年)的分析发现,顶尖大学入学机会在北京市存在着明显的城郊差异,位于城区的超级中学... 超级中学的发展壮大可能加剧城市内部顶尖大学入学机会的区域差异,不利于大型城市引导人口向郊区流动。基于对某顶尖大学A北京生源调查数据(2001—2021年)的分析发现,顶尖大学入学机会在北京市存在着明显的城郊差异,位于城区的超级中学与首位中学近年来分别垄断了A大学约40%与超过20%的生源;超级中学垄断降低了北京市一般高中学生的顶尖大学入学机会,但这种负面影响主要表现为对郊区一般高中学生顶尖大学入学可能性、顶尖大学生源密度及相对录取排名的冲击,城区一般高中所受影响并不明显。因此应该增加郊区优质教育资源投入,强化市级政府的资源统筹力度,同时也需要扩大优质高中的资源覆盖、加强郊区教师队伍建设、优化高中学校规划布局。 展开更多

我国地域和城乡差异制约着西部乡镇英语教学的发展,而阅读是初中英语的基础,因此,西部乡镇地区中学生的英语阅读亟需量体裁衣式的动态干预。《中国英语能力等级量表》能为各级教学提供参考,其三级(CSE3)可用于指导阅读动态评估(DA)的试... 我国地域和城乡差异制约着西部乡镇英语教学的发展,而阅读是初中英语的基础,因此,西部乡镇地区中学生的英语阅读亟需量体裁衣式的动态干预。《中国英语能力等级量表》能为各级教学提供参考,其三级(CSE3)可用于指导阅读动态评估(DA)的试题选择和干预模型构建。本研究基于CSE3确定阅读试题和DA干预模型,并对西部某乡镇地区的16名学生组成的实验组进行了5轮一对一的动态评估干预。研究发现,虽然实验组和控制组在阅读能力上没有显著差异,但前者在推理和主旨方面的表现均显著优于后者。此外,干预组的干预类型历时变化和学生的反应类型历时变化均揭示了他们阅读能力的微观发展和最近发展区的扩展。本研究属于较早尝试将CSE3引入到西部乡镇地区英语学习者阅读发展干预模型构建的研究,有望为提高干预的效度方面提供借鉴。 展开更多
