Digital Communication： The Conflicts in the Transmission and Distribution of Information in the Era of Knowledge Economy

This article analyzes the concentration of production and distribution of information, from the analysis of the news in major international news agencies.The biopolitics is more and more interconnected to social, cultural, economical, and political matters, which led us to see in the contemporary scenario the creation of new forms of social organization which will determine how we interact with each other and how we face the world. Additionally, questions emerge about the usage of the means of communication, particularly those related to Technology of Communication and Information （TICs）. The influence of the media over the social-cultural activities tends to create homogenizations of senses, aiming a planetary visibility in a process that can not only disfigure but destroy many symbolic representations and cultural forms. On the other hand, globalization tends to, instead of minimize the differences in the world, ended up creating new conflicts that, through the usage of new technologies of communication, expresses and articulate themselves.

Research Progress of High-Quality and Equilibrium Economic Development of Ethnic Regions in the Context of Digital Economy

A new generation of information technology is driving the growth of digital economy across the world.In recent years,China has attached great importance to the development of digital economy and digital technology.With the support of a series of policies,the digital industry has been able to develop at an astounding rate,and at the same time the integration of other industries with digital technology has been strengthened.The profound changes in production factors,production methods,and production approaches have promoted high-quality regional economic development.Literature statistics have shown an increasing trend in digital economy research in recent years.In this paper,literature on digital economy development,digital economy and high-quality economic development,the current situation of economic development in ethnic regions,and digital economy and economic development in ethnic regions is recapitulated in an attempt to learn from existing studies.

Expanding the Definition and Measurement of Knowledge Economy： Integrating Triple Bottom Line Factors into Knowledge Economy Index Models and Methodologies

The application of knowledge is a primary source of growth in the knowledge economy. The World Bank Group has developed a rigorous assessment methodology for assessing a country＇s ability to access and use knowledge to become more competitive in the knowledge economy of the 21st century. The World Bank＇s annual knowledge economy index is grounded on a four-pillar model： （1） economic incentives and institutional regime; （2） education and skills; （3） information and communication infrastructure; and （4） innovation systems. An argument can be made that the model lacks coverage of some key factors that pertain to intellectual capital and the production and consumption of knowledge. The model＇s heavy focus on economic incentives and open institutional regimes comes at a societal cost. This paper proposes an alternative knowledge economy index which is grounded in a more holistic and balanced view of a knowledge society. Adopting the perspective of triple bottom line shifts the purpose and design of a knowledge economy from one of aggregation and reporting to action and involvement. The World Bank＇s scorecard and indexing methodology are adaptable to this new perspective and a new set of indicators.

Manpower, institution and the growth of knowledge economy in Shanghai

This paper examines the concept of knowledge economy, manpower, high-educated laborers with innovative capabilities, institutional problems and their relations. It argues that manpower is the key element for the growth of knowledge economy in general, and people with innovative capabilities are the centre of manpower in particular. In Shanghai, although great progress has been made concerning with the reforms and development of high-tech industry, institutional problems are still the main obstacles for further development of high educated labor market and then the growth of knowledge economy. The reasons have been: 1) a less effective mechanism with the remaining of state ownership system; 2) a still powerful bureaucratic system, or more precisely, bureaucratic practice referring to these. Suggestions for further reforms and policy reformulation have been examined and discussed in the end.

Crossing the Growth Threshold： Service-Based Economy, Knowledge Process and Reshaping of Efficiency Model

The transition from middle-income to high-income stage is fraught with risks of growth divergence. Economic transition is clouded by the following possibilities： （1）falling share of industrial seetor through industrial depression and weakening growth momentum caused by the large urbanization costs; （2） the subordination of service sector as a result of nearly irreversibly industrial professional, which falters the process of service sector transition and upgrading,＂ （3） inefficient knowledge production allocation and human capital upgrade due to the absence of incentivized compensation of knowledge consumption. We suggest that a country should reshape its efficiency model by upgrading knowledge factor and human capital as the pre-requisite. Given the dilemmas of transition, China should take the faetorization trend of service sector and reshape efficiency model through institutional reform, ensuring that service sector will develop in tandem with industrial sector.

The bibliometrics survey of ecological economic research:A knowledge mapping analysis based on the SCI and SSCI database

Based on bibliometrics and knowledge mapping analysis method,this paper uses CiteSpace,a visual literature analysis tool,to analyze 3794 related documents with the theme of“economic economy”in SCI and SSCI databases from 2010 to 2020,including authors,institutions,subject headings and literature co-citation,so as to reveal the development and hot spots of ecological economic research.The results show that in recent years,the number of documents on ecological economic research has been increasing,and developed countries are dominant.China’s research in this field has developed rapidly and has certain advantages in terms of quantity and quality.The institution with the largest number of papers is Chinese Academy Science,followed by Beijing Normal University,University of Chinese Academy of Sciences,Peking University and Universitat autonomy de Barcelona;research hotspots in recent 10 years include“sustainability”,“management”,“climate change”,“impact”,“economy”,“china”,“conservation”,“ecosystem service”,etc.The top three journals are Sustainability,Journal of Cleaner Production,and Ecological Economics,accounting for about 10%of the total number of papers published.The hot spots of ecological economic research in 2010-2020 can be divided into three stages,with different theme words emerging in each stage.From 2018 to 2020,the theme word of high-strength emergence is“anthropocene”,which indicates that“anthropocene”may be the focus of future research.

Develop Highly Reliable and Low-Cost Technology for Access to Space,Embrace the New Space Economy Era

The worldwide space industry has entered a new space economy era.The question is how to develop in this new era?This paper tries to answer this question from two aspects:highly reliable and low-cost technology for access to space,and the cislunar economic zone.Firstly,the development requirement of the future space transportation system is discussed and the development path to enable high-reliability and a low cost of space transportation system is analyzed.Moreover,the concept of a routine space transportation system is proposed,upon which this paper gives some thoughts to the development of the cislunar economic zone thus embracing the new space economy era.

Analysis on the characteristics of domestic and foreign blue economy research based on CiteSpace

Blue economy is one of the hot research topics both at home and abroad,which is of great significance to the construction of a strong maritime country and the high-quality development of national economy.This paper summarizes the research highlights and characteristics of blue economy at home and abroad,based on the visual analysis of analyzing 414 literature from Web of Science Core Collection Database(SSCI)and CNKI General Database,using CiteSpace 6.1.R3.The results show that:(1)The number of articles in the field of blue economy at home and abroad is on rise during 2010-2021,and the volume of foreign articles about blue economy is significantly higher than that of domestic ones.The domestic and foreign articles about blue economy were more of a theoretical mechanism research.(2)Domestic blue economy cooperation network is budding,blue economy research in coastal provinces and cities of China has policy support and scientific research advantages,and Ocean University of China is the core institution in the research field of blue economy in China.With close international blue economy network cooperation,the university is the main scientific research unit of blue economic cooperation at home and abroad.United States,the United Kingdom and Australia attach great importance to blue economy and have a good scientific research foundation,holding an absolutely dominant position in the field of blue economy research.(3)Blue industry and blue practice are the hot research topics of China's blue economy,and the evolution of research topics can be divided into three phases.Among other topics,regional analysis,sustainable blue economy,ocean governance,are the priority research areas of international blue economy research.

Research on the New English Language Teaching Approach based on Sharing of the Knowledge Economy under the MOOCs Background

In this paper, we conduct research on the new English language teaching approach based on sharing of the knowledge economy under the MOOC background. College English teaching is the core part of education in colleges and universities that are leading an indicator of college teaching can reveal most times the imprinting to teaching in colleges and universities. The Root Cause of the Anti-globalization Movement in the United States:the Erosion of the Level-standard Economy

This paper uses Qian’s level-standard economy approach to analyze the losses and gains of American globalization in the Neoliberal Era.Analysis found that:level-standard economy’s sectors are the losers during the process of American globalization in the Neoliberal Era;and super levelstandard economy’s sectors are the winners during the process of American globalization in the Neoliberal Era.The erosion of the level-standard economy has great harm and impact on related parties,so that the USA emerges the movement of populist backlash against globalization.This paper proposes 4 measures to solve this dilemma,i.e.,to impose higher tax rates on the winners of American globalization in the Neoliberal Era,to subsidize more to the losers of American globalization in the Neoliberal Era,to moderately relocate manufacturing and other industries back to the U.S.,and to further strengthen transnational cooperation.

Knowledge Economy: Model Construction and Development Trend of Online Education

In regard to knowledge economy,the current concept in the model construction of online education,including distance education and online learning,generally refers to a kind of network-based learning behavior,similar to the concept of online training.Compared with traditional offline education methods,through the application of information technology and internet technology for content dissemination and rapid learning,online education has the characteristics of high efficiency,convenience,low threshold,and rich teaching resources.Online education covers a wide range of people,different forms of learning,and its classification methods are more diverse.Online education services are the fastest growing field of education informatization.At the moment,the most pressing problems include effectively integrating educational resources with internet technology,launching online education services and products that are highly interactive and would encourage personalized learning,increasing user stickiness,as well as avoiding trend-following and conceptualized investment.

The Airport Economy Development of ZAEZ's Innovation on the Regional Development Pattern

Regional economic development can be enhanced through the development of an airport economy that includes: changing the regional elements endowment at the micro scale, coupling with regional industries at the medium scale, and accelerating tax revenues and employment growth at the macro scale. As a representative example of the Chinese airport economy, the Zhengzhou Airport Economic Zone(ZAEZ) has played a significant leading and demonstrating role in the following fields: deepening the system reforms in an all-round way, promoting the "synchronization of five modernizations", building "one carrier and four systems", constructing "Four Henan", advancing the structural reform of supply-side and integrating the resources of the Henan airport. This article concludes: The supply-side structural reform needs to be accelerated and integrated into the international frontiers under "the Belt and Road" initiative. The ZAEA development has promoted the innovation of regional development patterns and showed the tendency toward the "five modernizations" of future regional development. The airport economy has developed rapidly based on the international aviation transportation system, and may change the traditional development patterns of regional centers located in coastal areas, and open a new era of regional development in the inland regions.
